The food was above average, had expected more. We ordered two of the dinner specials 1) Pepper beef, egg roll, w/ fried rice: the fried rice and egg roll was bland no flavor, beef was sweet with lots of yellow onion wedges. 2) Broccoli beef / hot & sour soup, it was tastier than the pepper beef. My son ordered the orange chicken from the regular menu it was fine, made Panda Express was a bit better The Chinese food was ok, prices was fair, they do a lot of take out orders. You can also dine in. No table service, just order togo or dine inside after you order. read more

Went here on a Saturday night. The food was good although apparently everything is served in take out containers even if dining in. We had tofu with mixed vegetables and brown sauce. Sauce wasn't very strong, but still tasted good. The white rice was also originally in a separate container too. The staff was friendly. The containers were plastic so not very eco. Good portions and fair prices. Clean restaurant with a good amount of seating for a mainly take out place. Nice decor. read more

Asian Wok - Leftovers in the same containers they arrived at the table in - Chinese Near Me - Wooster, Ohio

Food was subpar. The worst pad Thai as well as the hot and sour soup I've ever had! Won't be going back

Very efficient service and generous portions for price charged. Convenient location with parking.

Really enjoyed my carryout Gen Tsoe's. Tasted great and was too much to finish. Saved some and enjoyed the leftovers the next night. I'll be back next time I'm in town. read more

The food is always hot and tasty! The service is great and they're always ready with your food quick! Best Chinese food in Wooster!

it was busy when we arrived. 3 people ahead of us the couple 2 ahead of us sat down like we did. In about 10 minutes they had their food. we sat down expecting to wait 10-20 minutes since after we came in it was a revolving door of people. we asked about our food about 50 minutes into waiting for it. We were told it will be up in a few minutes. About 10 minutes later we asked again. We were told the same thing. Finally another 20 minutes our food came to the table. It was put in a to go bag and was lukewarm at best. This place usually has great food and great service. I wouldn't have been as upset if my food was hot like it usually is but to wait that long and have lukewarm food is ridiculous! I just wanted to leave after being there for over an hour with no food. They have lost a customer after tonight! read more

The food was terrible, couldn't finish it! And when ordering on line for us to go in and pick up, it asked for a tip?! Just absurd. Would never go back. Spent $38 on food that ended up in our trash. read more

We stopped here shortly after lunch today, and both ordered the general tsos lunch special with crab Rangoon. The service was good, and the food was excellent. I would def recommend read more

Something is off here, they aren't what they were, I know Panda Express is going in down the street, but if they return to their quality of the past it won't faze their business. They need to regroup because they had great food, but it's not now. read more

I drove 20 minutes to get there. The gentleman that was at the counter just asked me my name and told me the cost. Paid for it, grab my food, and left. When I got home and tried it out. I was highly disappointed. The rice was still hard and the gravy for my egg foo young tasted old. Never again. read more

Never had a bad meal here. Prices are fair, food is always delicious. I'm a fan. Still the best in Wooster.

The food is awesome, nicely priced...... and they always get your order right! So easy to order and pick up.

The food is good and hot, also the food is ready when they tell you it will be done. The people who work there know what they are doing and works together as a great team read more

First time here and this place is really good. Ingredients seem to be very fresh and cooked to order. Only drawback is that plastic utensils are pitiful. Bring silverware from home if you're going to dine-in. I'd definitely return for more food in the future. read more

One of the best places to get Asian food in Wooster. Fast service, you can walk in and walk out in under 20 minutes. Eat inside or take it home, either way it's gonna be good. read more

Best friend and I were on the last day of our road trip. We drove past the day before and since Yelp showed great reviews and pictures, we gave it a try. They look so small on the outside...like carryout only, however when you walk in, it is so much larger inside. Inside was very clean and the restroom was very well maintained. We shared an order of Crab Rangoon, which came with eight on the plate with bowl of sweet & sour sauce. They were so light, fresh, and so tasty! I could make a meal with just those! I also ordered General Tso's Chicken with side of fried rice and Hot & Sour Soup for their lunch special. I am not a huge fan of carrots or peas in fried rice but it was really good and flavorful. The chicken pieces were smaller in size which makes them easier to eat. The sauce was not overly sweet and had some bite, which I enjoy. The soup was so scrumptious! We will be back when when are in the area again! read more

Classic Chinese food! I think it's the best in Wooster. Food is always ready quickly, and I don't need to wait too long. I don't go for the ambiance, but to-go is perfect! read more

I usually get pepper steak and it's always delicious, the rice is always cold and dry, but, I tried the orange chicken and it was awful!! It tasted like orange rind, very bitter and dry. The rice was as expected... read more

New favorite in the area. I've had every Chinese restaurant in the area, which is why I was hesitant to try Asian Wok but now it's my favorite! I got the General tsos chicken and it was exactly how I want it. The sauce was perfect, the chicken was CRISPY. read more

Asian Wok - chicken, rice, and sauce in a styrofoam container - Chinese Near Me - Wooster, Ohio

My go to Asian take out restaurant for a quick and inexpensive night for Chinese food.

I was hesitant to try this place as most Chinese places I've tried do not have good flavor. I was pleasantly surprised when we stopped here for lunch! The food was bursting with flavor! I wish I would have been hungrier so I could have tried a few other things. The service was fast and friendly. The young man at the counter greeted us with a smile. The prices are great and the portions were a little larger than I expected. Will definitely visit again! I'm ready to make the hour drive to go back. read more

If you are looking for good Asian this is the place. Don't waste the money on the more expensive place in town. This place has the best General Tso's in Wooster. The have a small Thai menu as well. The portions are huge and the price is low. The only downside is the place is small and you don't dine in the winter or you will freeze to death with the revolving door of take out orders. read more

Asian Wok - General Tso's - Chinese Near Me - Wooster, Ohio

I am honestly still not impressed. Returned and ordered the salt and pepper calamari which was excellent but served without any type of dipping sauce. Made the dish a bit dry and lacking flavor. Tried the Mongolian with fried noodles. Once again the sauce was bland and the dish did not impress. Many Asian restaurants tend to use the same sauce recipe for many other dishes. The last main complaint I have is the restaurant is very loud. If you want to talk to your friends go off hours. Not bad restaurant for Wooster but many excellent Asian restaurants outside of town read more

Need a solid Netflix and sweatpants accompanying Chinese place? Welp, here's your answer. They're quick, tasty, and affordable. All of the usual suspects are in play and are all well prepared. We're talking about comfort food here, and not high cuisine. The only think I'd change is the spice level. Even ordering something extra extra extra spicy leaves me wanting more heat. But, it's still tasty, and that's what really counts. read more

If you're looking for a Chinese take-y out-y place in the Wooster area, I would say this place is the best among others such as Hop Hing or China Garden. But if you are seeking top notch, gourmet Chinese food for a fancy date, this place wouldn't be it...for something like that I'd venture to a city like Akron or Mansfield. I ordered the Hunan Chicken. It had a great flavor with lots of veggies and a decent quality of meat. I find that good meat is hard to find with Chinese take out type food, and I'm super picky about it. My friend ordered Szechuan Beef, which was also really good. I probably liked his dish better than mine, actually, and I'm even pickier about beef in my take out dishes than chicken. All in all, good first experience and I will return if I get a hankering for Chinese. read more

Asian Wok always has good food and service. Quick and easy ordering. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the food here. The Sichuan chicken was different than I expected but it was ok. General tsos and lo mein and sweet and sour chicken was all good. Will b back again. read more

I was put off by this restaurant about 2 years ago and really haven't been back since. We decided to give it another shot due to the good reviews here on Yelp. We were not disappointed this time. The place was very busy, many people eating at tables and many getting carry-out. The menu is vast an many items you do not know about until you get there since there is a hand-written menu on the wall in addition to the usual Chinese restaurant menu. This will now be our go-to place in Wooster for low-cost, sit-down Asian food. read more

I stopped here for takeout while visiting my Mom. We had 4 different meals & they were all very good. I would recommend calling ahead, because this place is busy. I highly recommend for Chinese food in Wooster. read more

I absolutely love this place. The staff are always nice even thought they are swamped with work. The place is very clean and takin care of. I highly recommend this establishment over about 99% percent of the rest of Wooster. read more

Great food! Always fresh and hot. I would reccomend this place for quality asian cuisine. My favorite place to eat at. Friendly staff too~

Best Chinese-American place in Wooster by far. The place to be if you're avoiding Lowry

This place looks cool-ish from the inside, but the food is not very good. It's one of those restaurants that the first bite is okay, but as you keep eating it gets less and less palatable. I think it was because the food was so heavy. I felt that everything was swimming in oil and triple deep fried. Even my teriyaki beef had several pieces that were entirely fat. Both my wife and I was just not feeling very well at the end of the meal. On top of that, it was very expensive for Chinese take-out. For the two of us it was $21 and we didn't even get drinks. read more

I love Asian Wok! The food is delicious, fresh, and always ready within minutes. Personal favorites are Chicken with Broccoli, Shrimp with Broccoli, House Special Lo Mein, Singapore Mei Fun, and Crab Rangoon. The staff is friendly. I always do take out, but there is a fair amount of seating. The prices are very affordable and the food is always good quality. I've never had any meat that was too fatty or any entree that was too greasy. read more

I heard good things about their pad Thai so I decided to try it. It was the most disappointing pad Thai I've ever had. It was basically all noodles with a few small pieces of chicken and egg. No nuts, no cabbage or bean sprouts. and this was terribly over priced at over $8! Save your $$, don't go here read more
