Inside there is not really a lot of places to sit and it would give an awkward feeling since it is primarily takeout orders so you would be watching a constant stream of people coming in and out while you are eating. Recently I have noticed the quality of the food going down while the prices are high particularly with the General Tso's chicken. The quality is almost like they are using frozen popcorn chicken that is fried and then covered in a premade sauce. Additionally, I tried their Singapore Chow Mei Fun hoping that maybe it was just one bad dish but this one was even worse. It was as if someone poured a Ramen Noodle seasoning packet on top of the noodles where it was just too salty to eat. Working in the area, many of my colleagues have had similar experiences in ordering lunch from Ming Chu and have found better options nearby.

My small company was looking for a better Chinese food option than what we have been having. So, I chose Golden Palace because it was fairly close. I ordered a few times myself to see if it was worth trying. I really liked it and decided to order for 15 people for a Friday lunch. Everything went perfect. The food was ready and hot at pickup time. Most everyone agreed it was way better than the previous restaurant. And they even threw in over 20 crab ragoons for free. The owner was even concerned how I was going to transport the food and instructed me to put it on the car's floor so the bags wouldn't tip over. Great job!

The egg roll was cooked well but the filling was so bland I ended up throwing it away after two bites. And this is one of those restaurants that have sweet crabmeat cheese rangoons. Why do they do that? They're like little deep fried crab-flavored cheesecakes- yuck. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was fine (apart from the lack of broccoli in the General Tso's). While there was nothing that was outright wrong with the food, we will not be eating here again. If you like sugared seafood and you find ketchup to be too spicy, you might enjoy this place a bit more than we did.
