    Pho Beef, Meatball & Tendon

Server was nice and friendly. I got some beef pho with meatball and tendon, the broth was soooooooo good. Pretty sure that was the best Pho I've had in the surrounding areas. I got it at lunch time not a whole lot of meat but may be more in the larger portion. I been thinking about it all day. So good

Excellent fusion restaurant for different types of Asian cuisine! In addition to the food options, there are also different types of bubble teas available. We were greeted when we arrived in the restaurant and was able to be seated immediately. I noticed that the restaurant is doing an excellent job of following COVID safety protocols. Once we were seated, someone came to give us menus and take our drink orders. We ordered appetizers first which were delicious. I highly recommend the summer rolls! The appetizer platter was super good too. My favorite item on the platter was the dumplings. I ordered the pho with shrimp and absolutely loved it! The broth was seasoned well and the plate that contained the fresh veggies for the pho was substantial. In my opinion this is the best pho in the Akron area. The staff was hard-working, friendly and very attentive. I look forward to eating here again.

    Tom Kra Gai

See the photo - left is what I ordered, right is what I got. I've ordered Tom Kha Gai from restaurants all over the map and it's always tasted the same. It's a pretty simple recipe with few ingredients. We ordered carry out and I could see through the bag that the soup looked different. I took it back inside because I thought they gave me the wrong order, the broth was clear and it had carrots. They said "this is how we make it, I'm sorry it's not what you expected." So we gave them the benefit of the doubt and drove home. The soup tasted like hot water, completely flavorless. After calling and explaining the soup had no flavor, the owner said they would give me 20% off my next order. I explained that I would not be back as I drove 45 minutes to try this restaurant and was not happy with the quality. The owner said sorry, there's nothing we can do. I wrote a google review and you can see the owners response for yourself. They accused me of "altering their ingredients" because I added sides of bean sprouts, extra cilantro, and rice noodles", which is a twist that I learned from a 5 star Thai restaurant in New York City. None of those ingredients would cause the soup to taste like old tea water. The food is also highly overpriced for Ohio Thai food ($50 for 2 soups, 2 Thai teas, carry out).

    Pad Kra Pao with tofu

Tasty large plates of Thai food. Prices are fair ($12-18) with vegetarian tofu options. We were seated and well served with lots of water refills and quick food service. They are also good about food allergies and sensitivities, our waitress was knowledgeable of dishes and able to change the dishes as needed to accommodate everyone's needs. I would recommend for a quick stop in or take out order.

Probably this was not a lucky day for us or it was not one of the regular days for the restaurant. Took a long detour on our long drive to NY. Added 30mins to our trip and I wish we could say it was worth it, yet it was not. We ordered three thai fried rice with chicken and mildly spicy. The food was really bland and desperately needed seasoning. We could not finish it; we were really sad to throw away the food. Not recommended based on our experience. Waste of money.

    Pho with hot tea

Thai Pattaya has great pho for the area although you can find very similar tasting pho at the Giant Eagle Market District in Green. I wouldn't recommend getting takeout as you'll miss out on the very eclectic atmosphere. They have a very large selection of hot teas and adorable tea pots to serve it in. The pho broth is hearty and flavorful and is served with all the standard garnishes. I like to order the chicken pho and add on veggies - it gives you a nice filling soup packed with vitamins! Several of the appetizers are very good including the spring rolls (though be careful when biting into them as they are almost always a little extra oily and you could easily burn your mouth) and the papaya salad. The mango sticky rice is a nice after dinner treat and the sticky rice in general is very good (if you've never had sticky rice before - it is literally just rice).

Me Pheet Yellow Noodle Duck Soup

My friend and I have to visit supplier for audit. And this place nearby our hotel. We are glad we choose this restaurant. The food is very delicious. The waiter nice and attentive but not hovering. I ordered the yellow noodles soup with duck with Napa cabbage. So rich and flavorful. Big portion too. Alas I can't take the rest because we only passed through. My friend opted for crispy chicken with with rice and vegetables. She's very happy with her choice too. The chicken so delicious sweet and spicy, the veggies so fresh. We left full and happy.

I liked how much food you got and how you had a few options to choose from. Food: * pineapple passion mojito - 5/5 absolutely DELICIOUS. It was a perfect drink to have with dinner. It was light and refreshing with just enough sweetness. * chicken and pork bao - 4/5 super yummy! I actually liked the pork more than the chicken. It was almost like a buttery taste. It was soft and the meat just fell apart. The chicken was good too but was more on the tough side, probably because it was fried. * spicy beef ramen - 5/5 I will absolutely be back to get this again. Just the right level of spice. All the ingredients were fresh, well made, and delicious. It's the type of food that you can't help eating more of even though you're beyond full. * crispy chicken ramen - 3.5/5 This was still a good choice! I loved the chicken in it. I think this is a very safe choice for anyone who might be on the more picky side. The broth was good but not spicy. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place! There are so many options and there is something for everyone to try.

The food took a little longer than expected to come out, and not everything hit the table at the same time, so a few of us were eating while others were still waiting. Not the end of the world, but it's always nicer when everyone gets to dig in together. Now for the good part...the food was definitely worth talking about. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I don't think anyone at the table had a bad meal, so major props to the kitchen. The only thing that really held this visit back was the service. Our server started off really pleasant, but as the night went on she became less attentive and seemed a little frustrated. We found ourselves waiting quite a while for things while she seemed much more engaged with her other tables. By the time we were ready to pay, she was crouched down on her phone and looked a little annoyed that she had to stop what she was doing to cash us out. We all have off days, so I'm hoping that's all it was. We actually rated the experience a 7.5/10 while we were sitting there, and for us that's a solid score because we're pretty tough critics. The food absolutely carried the night. Unfortunately, the service knocked it down a bit. We all work in the restaurant industry ourselves, so we're usually the first people to give grace because we know how chaotic a shift can get. I'd definitely come back for the food and hope we just caught our server on an off night

The interior is sparse and I saw some dirty tables while I waited. I liked the look of some of the boba teas I saw other customers get, but I was too cheap to buy one for myself. I was (and always am) craving a poke bowl so I ordered a grilled chicken poke bowl with edamame, sweet potatoes, seaweed salad, kimchi, and ginger dressing and waited about 15 loooooong minutes for it to be ready. Imho, I think my chicken poke bowl was overpriced at $14 even though I chose the cheapest protein options and stuck to only 4 add-ons as I didn't want to pay another $0.75 for each additional topping. I think the rest of the menu is also overpriced as well. I did like my bowl in the end though and found it all pretty tasty. I have has better poke bowl experiences before and know of quite a few other places that are much more generous. But I had a craving and was in the area. I just wish I could have gotten tuna or salmon as my protein without having to pay 2 or 3 more dollars on top of it. And why did it take so long to make?? I dunno, I think I'm just being impatient because I was running late to work lol.

CONS: I have none! BOTTOM LINE: LuCha serves the best authentic-style brown sugar milk tea I have found anywhere in this region, and I will happily drive more than an hour for it. I should begin with a confession: I am extremely particular about bubble tea. Bubble tea originated in Taiwan, and while the modern universe of boba includes practically every tea, fruit, milk, foam, syrup, and topping imaginable, I have a strong preference for traditional-style milk tea with a bold black-tea foundation. LuCha itself is a Taiwanese tea brand founded around handcrafted drinks, fresh ingredients, and tea culture, and that attention to the tea itself is exactly what keeps bringing me back. My order is always the Ancient Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and after roughly twenty visits, I have barely considered ordering anything else. The tea is robust enough to remain unmistakably tea rather than tasting like sweetened milk. The brown sugar adds warmth and depth without completely swallowing the black-tea flavor. It is rich, smooth, balanced, and, for my palate, very close to perfection. Then there are the boba themselves. Good tapioca pearls should not be rubbery, hard in the center, excessively soft, or dissolving into starch. LuCha consistently lands in that narrow little kingdom between tender and pleasantly chewy. The pearls are served warm, sometimes almost hot, inside the chilled milk tea. That temperature contrast is one of my favorite parts of the drink because it immediately tells me the boba were freshly prepared. Old tapioca pearls have a particular texture and flavor, and once you have encountered them, your mouth remembers. In all my visits, I have never received stale or day-old-tasting boba here. They are consistently soft, warm, fresh, and almost melt as you chew them. That first sip still makes me close my eyes for a moment. I realize this is dramatic but the heart wants what the heart wants. Although I remain fiercely loyal to one drink, the menu is broad. LuCha offers fresh fruit teas, sparkling fruit drinks, tea slushes, cheese-foam teas, fresh-milk drinks, smoothies, coffee, pure brewed teas, and numerous toppings. Depending on the drink, guests can customize elements such as sweetness, ice level, milk choice, pearls, popping boba, crystal pearls, and cheese foam. There is definitely something for everyone. LuCha also carries a rotating selection of breads, cakes, and small desserts. I have tried several, and they have all been enjoyable. The menu also includes croffles, a croissant-waffle hybrid, with versions such as strawberry and Lotus Biscoff. The one I tried was crisp, sweet, and a very good companion to the tea. Both the Aurora and Stow locations offer online ordering, and the process is easy. LuCha is primarily counter service, and even when there has been a steady stream of customers, I have rarely waited very long. The Aurora location is always clean and has a bright, playful little seating area where you can relax with your drink. The décor, bear breads, plush toys, and customer dog-photo display give it personality without making it feel cluttered. I have tried a great deal of bubble tea throughout Northeast Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, New York and beyond. Many shops produce something enjoyable, but very few make a milk tea that tastes sufficiently of actual tea, and fewer still prepare tapioca pearls this consistently well. LuCha does both. I genuinely drive more than an hour for the Ancient Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and I have done it repeatedly. For anyone who loves authentic-style milk tea with a strong tea base and freshly prepared boba, LuCha should be at the top of the list. Five deeply caffeinated stars.

With three bubble tea shops in town, it's safe to say we have options--but Tea Time is arguably the best of them. From the quality of their drinks to the friendly service, this place stands out. We first discovered Tea Time on their very first day open, and since then, we've been frequent visitors. Every time we come back, we're impressed by their consistency and attention to quality. The menu offers a fantastic selection of milk teas, fruit teas, and toppings, all made fresh to order. The boba has the perfect texture--soft yet chewy--and the flavors are well-balanced, never overly sweet. I especially enjoyed how smooth and creamy the milk tea was, and the fruit teas are refreshing without tasting artificial. Beyond the drinks, the Korean Cheese Corn Dog was a pleasant surprise. It was crispy, cheesy, and paired perfectly with the tea. It's a great snack to round out the experience. The shop itself has a welcoming, clean, and modern atmosphere, making it a great place to sit and enjoy your drink. The staff is always kind and willing to help if you're unsure what to order. With great quality, excellent service, and a strong menu, Tea Time is arguably the best bubble tea shop in Wadsworth. Since moving to Ohio from Florida, we haven't had the chance to try many places yet. So when I spotted Golden Tiger Tea while driving through downtown Massillon, we knew we had to stop in and see if their drinks lived up to our expectations. Golden Tiger Tea is located right in the heart of downtown Massillon and is very easy to get to. As soon as we walked in, I noticed the welcoming décor. They have two small nook-style seating areas right at the entrance on both sides, with views of downtown. It creates a cozy atmosphere if you want to sit and enjoy your drink inside. My wife ordered the Peachy Sunrise with strawberry popping pearls, and I went with a Valentine's Day-themed cocoa chocolate strawberry milk tea with traditional tapioca pearls. Both drinks were incredibly tasty and refreshing. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable--our total for both drinks was just $13.88, so it definitely won't break the bank. Another fun touch was their selection of boba-themed merchandise, including plushie keychains and cute Mickey-inspired boba keychains. They were also offering heart-shaped frosted sugar cookies for Valentine's Day, which added to the festive vibe. The woman who took our order was extremely friendly and provided excellent customer service, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had an amazing visit to Golden Tiger Tea. They should lessen the sugar in the recipe so the taste of the tea comes through more. Partner got the strawberry milk, he said it tasted like strawberry nesquik. He was neutral on it, didn't love it, didn't hate it. Overall it's just ok, Momohana does a better boba if you're looking for something a bit more authentic tasting, but it's worth a stop in at least to patron local shops. Personally it's a pass for us, it was far too sweet for my liking and the strawberry milk teas was middle ground. The building is ok enough, the decor definitely caters to a younger group considering there are shoes on display. It looks clean so it's whatever. Try it at least once, maybe you'll like it.
