    Eye of round pho

Amazing food, huge portions, clean environment, great service. Will definitely be back! I got the eye of round pho that was so flavor packed and fresh! 10/10 zero complaints.

Great Vietnamese food & coffee here! Walking distance from downtown Wooster, this quaint restaurant served freshly-made delicious appetizers and pho. There are also other dishes on the menu too, but came here for the pho and some appetizer. Loved the lettuce wraps! The lettuce was crisp and very fresh. The chicken, cashews, and veggies were super good. Also had the summer rolls and fresh pork buns and I highly recommend both. There were many choices of pho available to order. I ate the beef and meatball one. Loved everything about it. The meat was tender, both amazing, and the toppings (bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños) were fresh. Highly recommend too the Vietnamese coffee. Smooth! It went well with the food I ordered. Will definitely eat here again!

I had been excited to try this place. However, even as I initially walked in, it was not off to a great start. It smelled something similar to a wet mop bucket. To clarify, this is not a good smell. I figured I would attempt to ignore that. Besides, I was going to order take out. I ordered the Brisket Pho and the Gyoza appetizer. First, the Gyoza was okay. Definitely not great, but not horrible. On the other hand, there wasn't much good about the Brisket Pho. As I opened the first foam container, I was met with Sprouts that were just beginning to brown and some that seemed to be in the initial stages of slight rot. The Thai Basil Leaves were better than the Sprouts, but still a bit beat up, near the end of their usable life, some wilting. Not good. Definitely not fresh. The Jalepenos did seem fresh, though. Next, was the Brisket, Broth, and Noodles. If I remember correctly, the Cilantro was scattered atop the Noodles. The Cilantro seemed quite fresh, at least. And while not nearly the main concern, it did seem the noodles were somehow excessively almost molded or melded together into one huge nearly solid entangled clump. But most importantly, the Brisket was just horrible. It was not good. The broth was similar. And it's as if the taste was even worse than simply overcooked, tough, and not naturally delicious, but as if the Brisket and Broth has some sort of odd, horrible chemical taste. It was bad. I disposed of the remainder and also ended up having a stomach ache for hours after. I did notice that the Broth and Brisket were still extremely hot, even after arriving home to unpack. Normally this would be a good thing, but it was still SO hot, that I did wonder if it actually melted the plastic container a bit? Maybe not possible, I'm unfamiliar with the heat ratings on the plastic containers, but the "chemical" taste was that bad and noticeable, that it did come to mind. The only reason I didn't rate 1 Star is because everything looked to be packaged perfectly and the Gyoza appetizer wasn't horrible. But it was still a pretty bad overall experience.

Pho Bar new Vietnamese restaurant in Wooster. Lover of Pho, I had to try it. Ordered their Eye of Round Pho to go. Tasted the broth before assembling the soup. It was very good. They cooked the beef. I prefer it raw and cooking it in the hot broth. I really enjoyed the finished product. The service was excellent. A lot of people were coming in for lunch. This is a much needed Asian restaurant addition to Wooster. I look forward to trying other items soon.

Haven't written a review in a while- but pulled out Yelp for this gem. Wooster's new Pho Bar is a JOY. Gone are the days where my partner and I must transverse to Cleveland for a warm bowl of herby, beefy comfort. There bowls or pho are affordable, maxing out at $13. There are vermicelli and rice bowls if you're not in the mood for broth. The appetizer list is a hodgepodge of excitement. Everything from summer rolls to egg tarts are available for affordable prices. Great for date night or, as I'm imagining, ordering coffee/bubble tea an array of appetizers and sweets with friends. Friendly service. Clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend!

Really good pho! I got the round beef and brisket pho. Round beef was perfect texture tasted great all . I wasn't a fan of the brisket texture needs work, having said that, I've try almost every Pho in Northeast Ohio and this is in the top 10. The pork buns were killer!

Pho with eye of round. Broth was very weak. Not enough beef flavor. The rest was good though. Just like a more flavorful broth.

Their broth is so complex and comforting, the ingredients are always fresh, and the space is well kept. The service staff are attentive and helpful. If you're only getting this for takeout, you're missing out. They make their own chili oil and my husband practically drinks it with his Banh mi. No other Vietnamese spot in Northeast Ohio comes close in my opinion. I live 30 mins away and am already making excuses to come back so I can eat here.

I was in the area at the Lorain Library (main branch), and was craving a cozy meal. Pho Ever had a catchy name and was only a few minutes away (drive). What's more cozy than pho? I made a quick and good decision to visit. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is one open space simple cultural decor. The space well fits groups and single guests. Multiple comfy booths are available along one of the walls and there are plenty of tables. Decor includes Nón Lá (Vietnamese conical hats) around the perimeter of the restaurant, vases and flowers, wood carved rooster art, prosperity wall hanging with laughing Buddhas, and other decor typical of Asian restaurants. There is also a blue sky ceiling fragment. The atmosphere is very simple and casual. The restaurant is not the cleanest. That includes the floor, the bathrooms, the tables, and teapots. Everything could use a deep clean. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu features appetizers, rice plates, vermicelli stir-fry, pho, fried rice, ramen noodles, combination plates, and optional add-ons. Drinks were not on the menu. There are few pictures of the menu items to point you in the right direction. Each dish has alphanumeric value for simple ordering. I noticed that the prices are pretty value-oriented less than many other comparable restaurants. I ordered my default Vietnamese restaurant order - pho, rolls, and hot tea. More specifically, A3 (2 charbroiled pork rolls, $5), A4 (charbroiled chicken rolls, $5), P3 (pho with eye round steak and well-done brisket, $14), and jasmine tea ($2 for a tea pot). Rolls had a generous amount of meat. I loved pork rolls, but didn't like the chicken. I found it to be too dry. I did not use the accompanying sauces since spice is not my favorite. Pho included a large portion, plenty of meat, but the broth had some slightly lemony undertone that wasn't my favorite. Jasmine tea was perfectly hot and light. It was a very comforting meal due to hot tea and hot pho. I also loved that the food was delivered with a pouch with chopsticks, fork, spoon, and big spoon for pho. SERVICE: The service was very pleasant, quick, and accommodating. There was one waiter serving quickly filling dining room. He was excellent and very attentive! I was seated very quickly. My food impressively arrived within minutes. All other guests had all their questions answered with patience. Huge compliments on the service! The restaurant was extremely accommodating to groups. They expeditiously moved tables together for large dinner groups. I was at the restaurant before 6 PM and the restaurant was already almost full with more people pulling into the parking lot. It seems like it's a popular local destination. PARKING: There is plenty of parking available to customers. Dedicated parking lot rather than shared plaza arrangement. My experience was pretty positive. I was especially impressed with the excellent service. It wasn't the best Vietnamese food that I experienced, but pretty good for a casual Sunday meal. While I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here, I'd definitely stop in while in the area.

In addition to pho, the restaurant offers banh mi and vermicelli noodle bowls, both of which I had during my most recent visit. I opted for the special banh mi ($8.95) and vermicelli bowl with grilled pork & egg rolls ($14.95). The banh mi came with some Vietnamese cold cuts, pate, mayo, pickled radish, carrots, cilantro, and jalapeño. The sandwich was delicious. I loved the bread, which was so crispy on the outside and so light & airy on the inside. The veggies were fresh, and the cold cuts & pate were flavorful. The noodle bowl was also tasty. The bowl came with a generous amount of noodles, a decent-sized portion of tender grilled pork, an egg roll chopped up into pieces, bean sprouts, carrots, and other veggies. It was served with fish sauce on the side, which I used liberally along with Sriracha. If you dine in, there is a big bottle of sriracha at each table. In addition to being delicious, the noodle bowl was so filling. Between the bowl and sandwich, I left the restaurant stuffed. The service was quick and friendly. The vibe is very casual. If you dine in, you pay at the counter at the end of your meal.
