I've been wanting to try this place for quite a while and FINALLY, we went. It's very clean and nice on the inside. The guy that took care of us was super nice and kept making sure everything was ok. We started with spring rolls. They are good but a little pricey for 2 small rolls. We also got the steamed pork buns(bao). I highly recommend these. I'll go back for those alone. We finally got to the pho. He brought over 2 large bowls and a plate of bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño and fresh basil. Of course he brought hoisin sauce and sriracha (my fave). I got the bowl with beef, meatball, tripe and tendon. I think the tripe and tendon needed to be more tender but that's just me. My husband had the seafood and he loved it. The Pho is fantastic! The shredded chicken is cooked perfectly and the deep flavors are memorable.

We came here for lunch and dinner at separate times, both times the pho was consistent and delicious. I got the beef pho both times, my husband got the brisket/tripe pho. I will say as someone who enjoys PHO often and has tried it many different places, this is good. You get the simple expected sides (bean sprouts, jalapenos, sriracha) etc. my only complaint would be the broth isn't very "deep" or you don't get a beef flavor, it's flavorful, but not a beef flavor as you'd want from a good beef broth pho. Service is always quick, the fried dumplings are amazing, the steam buns were just eh...but definitely a good bowl of pho here!! read more

Was looking for some good pho in the area, and this place was recommended above others by some friends who are local. It was an okay experience- it really did not live up to the hype that it was given. When you walk in, there is a very cute interior, and the ordering area was nicely decorated. I had no idea they sold whole coconut with the water inside until we walked in- and I had to try one! It was delicious and I would definitely not pass up the opportunity to try this. For our meals, we ordered the chicken pho, pork chop pho, steamed pork buns, and the pork gyoza. The best part of the meal was the pork buns and the gyoza for sure! Both were bursting with flavor! For the pho, you did not get that much for what you paid for, and the to go containers were difficult to maneuver and oddly enough did not fit most of the food since the broth comes separately from the contents of the bowl. The broth was also on the bland side and was nothing special. Additionally, we ordered carryout, and it took 1 hour instead of the 25 minutes they told us, which was mildly annoying since we were not given any updates about our order while waiting there. I didn't care much for my sea food pho, maybe because it was kind of minty and I personally didn't care much for the squid, which kind of tasted flavorless and squishy. I probably would've rather gotten the beef pho. Everything else was honestly great though Sadly they do not have a tofu or vegan friendly option for the pho at all. Bottom Line, If I were in Kent I'd definitely stop for Pho again. The herbs, bean sprouts, and sides were all fresh and the Pho was very good. The summer rolls were just average, if they had spicy peanut sauce I'd order them again, but they do not. Next time I'll try the crispy spring rolls. They had a passion fruit soda that was phenomenal. I'm a sucker for passion fruit and this soda had real passion fruit in it. 5/5 on the soda. My husband and I decided to try this place for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It's small and quaint. You have to get there before the "rush" to get a table. We decided to try their steamed buns and we each ordered the seafood pho. Both were delicious! Everything came out steamy hot! The service was fast and friendly. The place was super clean and neat. I LOVE Pho and I was so excited for Pho king to come to Kent. Beyond the comedic name, the clean atmosphere, and the friendly staff. I was a little upset as a vegetarian that there were no tofu option. Every pho place I've ever been to has a tofu pho dish so it was a little sad to find out this info. I still eat fish (but would rather have tofu) so I had the seafood pho. This was the BIGGEST bowl I've ever had and was so impressed. Place looks almost abandoned from the outside. Ur the inside is absolutely beautiful. Very roomy and nice for dining in. Staff is very kind. The food was Phenomenal. I went here with my grandma, I had the Pho King with no tripe, my grandma got Char Grilled Chicken over rice. Both of them were amazing. There was the perfect amount of noodles in the Pho, and the broth tasted great. My grandma loved what she was eating too. We also god the Fried Dumplings and Fried Buns. The Fried buns came with a side of Condensed milk, and they were probably one of the best sweet bread dishes I have ever tasted. The buns were perfectly crisped, they were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The Fried Dumplings were cooked to perfection. We also got the Vietnamese Coffee and the Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice. The Coffee was amazing, they let it brew in front of you. They serve it with and without ice, letting you choose whenever you want. The orange juice tasted just like Fresh Oranges. Overall the experience and the food was amazing. Location: Main Street near KSU is super convenient with a big parking lot for the size of the restaurant. Staff: Friendly and polite. They smile and make eye contact, as well as being prompt and efficient. Space: Clean, well lit and (obviously) fresh and new. Food: The fried buns with the condensed milk were yummy. They had the correct balance of sweet and savory. My grilled chicken pho was excellent. The chicken was prepared perfectly; tender, tasty and with the proper amount of scorch. The flavor of the broth was awesome so perhaps others had a different version, but mine popped with great flavors. The noodles were solid but the bean sprouts and sauce were killer. Watch out for the heat! Go easy on the sauce but even if you overdo it, the sprouts will cool you off. I hadn't planned on eating everything, but it was too good not to do so!
