We ordered take out and it enjoyed it. It appears family owned as the wife was taking orders and husband was cooking, I like that. Pad Thai was the BOMB! Definitely recommend it. They are so kind and the menu has a large vegetarian selection.

Lyeh is one of the more underrated Thai spots in Akron. Cilantro and Lyeh are my go to's for take out. They have a very well priced menu and a great array of thai dishes. Each dish has an amazing mix of flavors and you can tell they put in effort on each dish to make it fresh and presentable. They also do a good job with the spice if you ask for it. If you can't handle much spice definitely ask for mild or no spice. I will keep returning as long as I'm in the area. The staff are very kind and always make sure to make things right. I highly recommend giving Lyeh a try!

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!!!!!! You can tell the Pho broth is made with love, and home made. Absolutely delicious. Pad Thai was also fantastic. And the star of the show being the beef pad ka pao. Absolutely try this place out!! Will be back. Outstanding.

Good quality and flavor at the price. Drunken noodles were kinda sad (actual spaghetti noodles and lackluster Thai basil/sauce) Limited appetizer options We got a soup, fried rice, and two noodle dishes around $40. Food was fresh Pad Woon Sen quite solid. Enjoyed the sweet potato noodles. Fried rice was fresh with a good amount of veggies, a solid bit above average. I enjoyed the Tom kha. My wife was less of a fan, and I think the lime was too heavy for her liking. Seemed to have some big chunks of galangal Drunken noodle: actual spaghetti noodles which doesn't feel right. Had a fair amount of Thai basil, but far from bright. Sauce was okay. Didn't seem up to the rest of the food or reviews.

Green Curry (takeout, rice on the side) fantastic

It was nicer inside than I thought it was going to be after reading some of these reviews. Seemed clean and bright. Service was fine. There are a couple tables and I'd definitely feel comfortable eating here. It was all really really good, but I may have been expecting too much. I think the pad Thai was above average. I really liked it with the hint of lime squeezed on there. The drunken noddles were fine, but a little dry. Maybe if I'd had eaten them there or quickly it would have been better. My favorite was the green curry. It was the bomb. Had some spice, but also a nice creaminess to it. I'd come back in a heartbeat and get the curries.

I've been wanting to try Lyeh for a few months now. I noticed them when going to spaghetti night at the Italian Center across the street. After reading reviews, I really wanted to go. Well, tonight I have no kids and hubby is on the road. I stopped on my way home from work and ordered the Pad Thai with pork and a couple egg rolls. I'm pretty picky about my egg rolls. These were ok but not outstanding. The Pad Thai was the best I've had in the area! The portion size was large, but don't think I didn't finish every single bite. Next, I want to try the Pho. While I was waiting for my order to be cooked, I looked around at the store next door. I'll definitely be back and it'll probably be this week. It's nothing great to look at from the outside, but it's what's on the inside that counts.

Good Thai is so hard to come by in CLE. I agree with prior reviewers - hands down the most authentic one I have been to in the area. The Tom Kha Gai (coconut milk chicken soup) is as close as we have gotten to the ones we've had in Thailand. The Tom Yum Soup was also seasoned perfectly. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were flavorful and approved by all (including the 3 year old). The green curry w shrimp was excellent and as described by others. The price is very affordable though the location is a bit off the beaten path. Despite that, would come back for more!

Pad Woon Sen Chicken. Tasted amazing.

Great service, very reasonable prices and great portions. Amazing flavor in the drunken noodles and cheaper wings anywhere.

The restaurant is large and has different areas to sit. If you want to sit at a bar, you can. If you want a table, you can have one. There are booths and chairs. Our waiter was fast and friendly and provided refills throughout the meal. As an appetizer, we requested corn fritters that were served with a sauce. The fritters and sauce were very good. For dinner, I requested shrimp and chicken curry with noodles and vegetables. The food was prepared quickly and delivered to our table. My curry was delicious and it had a small amount of spice. The waiter explained the various levels of heat available in the food. My wife requested level two and I wondered why, since level one was already spicy. My wife likes a touch of spice in her food on occasion. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals. I would like to visit again to try the pad Thai. Good meal. Good service.

Random day and the family wanted to try a different restaurant in the area that we hadn't tried…read morebefore. We had a yearning for some spice so we elected for Bangkok Thai. The menu is very extensive but if you have an idea of what you are looking for, it is not that intimidating. Our waiter laid out that they have five spice levels on many of their dishes. I went with the yellow curry, medium spice with chicken. Wow. The flavor is plentiful. The portion is a great size. I got two full meals out of it. My mom got Pad Thai with chicken. That's her go to. She said it's the same, but different as other Pad Thai dishes she has had elsewhere. Still enjoyed it! My dad got his usual Szechuan bowl with chicken. He enjoyed it too. It was his idea to start with house salads those were very whole and real. The peanut sauce dressing fit perfectly! I got some green tea to drink. The teapot and cup made the experience that much more inclusive. Boxing up our leftovers, I took that opportunity to ask our waiter if I could get the curry spicier next time. He turns to me and said, "Of course we can! We can make it not as spicy as you want (while squatting down) and make it as spicy as you want (while reaching up to the ceiling)". I loved the enthusiasm!! Upon leaving my mom and I inquired about gluten free desserts. The gentleman at the counter said, let me ask the kitchen for sure, and he said yes, they said the sticky rice is ready for your next time in! Amazing food. Friendly service. We will definitely be back. Do try Bangkok Thai Restaurant if you enjoy Thai food.
