Pass by often and am a lover of Thai food. Tried the pork pot stickers, pad thai with chicken and shrimp and the spicy garlic chicken. The portions are large and well priced. The waiter was very kind. The atmosphere was beautiful. The garlic spicy chicken was good the best part of the meal in my opinion. Did not love the potstickers or pad thai surprisingly. I did not think I would find good Thai in Hudson, Ohio, but this place was very good. The food, especially the pad thai was awesome. For a table of six, everyone enjoyed their food. I also asked for a four on the spicy level and it was hot!! But, I could not stop eating it. The ambiance is good and casual, they make sushi as well. The service was alright, they seemed to be short staffed and a friend who lives in the area said they just reopened because they could not find enough staffing. So, it was an older gentlemen serving and he was not having a great night. Service was not slow, but he seemed annoyed. I would dread having a service related business right now. After ordering food here for many years, I ordered a dish that comes with shrimp and pork. When I ordered, like I always do, I said Coconut Speghetti with Pork and no veggies. It came loaded with shrimp and pork. When I called and talked to two different people about, they schooled me on how it comes with port and shrimp and I have to say "no shrimp". My issue is that I got very condescending remarks and no offer to re-do, credit, anything. Now when we've called to get the owner's name, they have put us on hold indefinitely, three times. Was there 12.26.25. Server took our order and wrote nothing down. My daughter asked for a tofu dish. Her order came out as a vegetable dish with no tofu. We politely made her aware of the mistake and she apologized. My daughter asked for a side of tofu and she again apologized and said that it will be a $3.00 up charge. She was serious. I couldn't believe it. She brought the wrong dish and was going to up charge for the correction. I didn't want to make a nice dinner with my family into a negative situation so we passed and let it go. That was our first and last time there. Sad and disappointing- what happened? We've ordered takeout recently and the food seemed to be fine. I decided to take my family there to dine inside - big mistake. They are clearly understaffed and the people who are there clearly don't care. Hands down the worst service I've ever experienced. The waiter seemed annoyed we were there and didn't even get our order right. He only appeared at our table when absolutely necessary. It's possible they can't find people to work which seems to be a big issue these days. Either way, it's very disappointing when dining out and looking forward to a nice experience. The food wasn't good. The menu was large. They had Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Japanese. We ordered an array of dishes which included sushi, Chinese appetizers and Thai curry. The appetizers lacked flavor and were over cooked, the sushi was down right horrible, the rolls were falling apart and also lacked flavor, the curry was way too sweet. The staff wasn't friendly. No one asked how the meal was or asked if we needed anything else. This restaurant use to be down the road and call Thai Gourmet. Thai Gourmet had great food and service. I have no idea what happed! Six of us went to this restaurant last Friday. The service was horrific. Waitress brought out three different dishes that none of us ordered. So wasteful. I ordered sashimi. It was the worst sashimi I think I've ever had. It was extremely waterlogged and flavorless. So much so I can Worried a bit that it might cause me to get sick. However, it didn't thankfully. This place is really gone downhill. There were crumbs and food on the floor. The bathrooms the floors were sticky and the doors were covered in filth. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. I don't think I'll be going to this restaurant anymore. In addition, they automatically charge 20% tip because they considered six people a large group. I normally tip 20% but the service was so horrific if I had a choice it probably would've been 15. I always thought a large group was eight or more people. read more

Considering the restaurant is called Pad Thai I considered leaving 5 stars because that's the best dish there. I've had the Pad see ew, pad kee mao, Summer rolls and they were okay. I would have given this place three stars if it were not for the pad Thai. I must say though the portions for the price are incredible. You could get 2-2.5 meals out of one meal. The service is fine. We stopped here after seeing a movie at the nearby theater. The decor was nice and classy, and the food was phenomenal. I got the crab rangoon, which were flavorful and crispy. For my entree I had a yellow curry with chicken, which was the best I'd had since years ago at TOI in Los Angeles. Overall I think this place is a winner. I tend to order red curry from many restaurants. This places red curry was awful. And some how every single time I would eat it I would get sick... Maybe they put wheat or milk in it I'm not sure. Pad Thai is one of my favorite go-to Asian restaurants near our home. The service is ALWAYS top-notch and there are dishes that I crave that only they can satisfy! My husband is a huge fan of Egg Drop Soup and General Tso's Chicken. Pad Thai serves THE BEST! I often order take-out and the meal is so big that he eats it for dinner and lunch the next day. I wish Pad Thai had Singapore Noodles or Moo Shoo Pork on the menu though, as these are my favorite dishes! The restaurant gives generous portions, allows the patrons to control the heat of each dish, and gives a choice of white, brown or fried rice. Perhaps the thing I love most about Pad Thai is the dedication of the staff! The food at pad Thai is very good, and very reasonably priced. I have never eaten in the restaurant, but when I have been there to pick food up, the music is a little too loud. The last time I went, I placed an order, and when I arrived to pick it up, there were a number of people picking up food. Everyone else got theirs, but mine did not come out. They were very busy and shortstaffed and I understand the situation. The only thing I would suggest is that when that happens just say you're sorry. I was given my food and and sent on my way with a thank you. During quarantine, this has been my place to go to when I am craving Thai food! Ive ordered from them at least 3 times in the past 2 months. They have an expansive menu sure to please anyone and they are consistent, dependable, and affordable. The food is almost always ready in 20 minutes, so no need to plan out my order! I can call and they'll have my food ready for me in a jiffy! Lately, I have been obsessed with their spicy peanut curry. It has the whole allotment of veggies and I love it with tofu or shrimp! The sauce is the perfect combo of sweet and spicy! The staff does a great job customizing our orders, enabling pay-over-phone to reduce contact, and everyone is wearing masks to ensure safety. Pad Thai is excellent! The portions are very hefty, so if you're hungry this is a place for you! My mom and I are gluten free and the gentleman on the phone who took our order was very helpful in saying what could be made gluten free or changed to fit our dietary needs. I had the yellow curry with chicken without onions and mushrooms. It was some of the best curry I've ever had. Would love to go in once the dining room is finished being renovated and the COVID-19 lockdown is lifted. All in all, excellent service, excellent food. I've been looking for a great Asian fusion place since I moved back to Ohio, and I think I've found it at Pad Thai! I got the red curry - it was delicious and the tofu was cooked perfectly, which is rare. We also tried the chicken satay appetizer, and they was good, as well. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is charming and a little more dressy than casual, but we sat at the bar. I've been here a few times and tried many of the curries, as well as the coconut milk vegetable soup. I love the decor and giant jade Buddhas in this space. However, the service is really hit or miss (can be really abrupt or have to ask for things like water multiple times). Additionally, some of the food can be extremely spicy to the point of overpowering all other flavors, so pick carefully, especially if you are sensitive to spice and lots of black pepper! Portions are great (you'll probably have leftovers), there's plenty of parking, and tons of vegan/vegetarian options. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! They absolutely do not deserve good people's business. My husband ordered avocado curry and pad Thai. Normally, when we order Pad Thai and we specify if we want chicken or shrimp or pork. Unfortunately, we made a mistake and did not do this. So, They gave us Pad Thai with shrimp and chicken. I cannot eat shrimp and noticed it as soon I took a bite. I immediately called the restaurant to see if they would give us a replacement because the dish was not edible to our family at this point. The woman took my information and told me she would give us a "no money Pad Thai" in about 15 to 20 minutes. So, I came up there to get the replacement. After waiting about five minutes with no one coming to ask why I was there, I was told to wait while they get someone who I assumed was a manager. He asked why I was unhappy with the Pad Thai and I told him. He asked why didn't I specify and I said because my husband ordered it. He then asked me where is the pad Thai that you took home? HUH?!! I said " I was never told that I needed to bring the dish back" which I would have gladly done had I known that. However most restaurants don't accept food once it's outside of the building. He told me " that is not the way it works". I reiterated that I would have brought it back had I've been told but I was not told!!! He kept telling me that is not the way it works and he would not give me the food. I then said "I've worked at many restaurants and they won't take food back" and "this is not good customer service." He said "customer service !?" and rolled his eyes at me and again said "this is not the way it works." In my head I'm thinking is this really happening and my blood is boiling and my face is getting red and I feel like I'm getting hives all over because it's like CRAZYTOWN in Hudson, Oh---I will never look at Pad Thai The same way again! Eventually, the woman who who took my order then came over and started tell me that she told me to bring back the food. No!! She did not tell me to bring back the food. She was trying to be nice, but she knew that I was clearly upset. The owner finally then decided to give me the food, but also GAVE ME A WARNING to specify exactly what type of pad Thai that I want in the future. I told him that I will never come back in the future!!! The owner is a rude, indignant, greedy, cheap and knows nothing about customer service. Besides being sloppily dressed like he was the dishwasher. I rarely ever take food back. It was so insulting to me and my character that he thought I was just trying to scam this restaurant or something... Ridiculous! Please think twice before you waste your money at this place.
