For the money, it is a great value. The food is fresh and solid. We enjoyed the food both times. The second time, we were given some really marginal egg foo young where large pieces were inedibly overcooked. Must try: - egg drop soup - extra spicy orange chicken. This is the best orange chicken I've had in recent. Bright citrusy and tangy. - sweet and sour chicken. Often ruined by ratios of batter to bad chicken, the batter to chicken ratio was spot on and the sauce and chicken were fresh. Avoid (like the plague): - Egg Foo Young (see pic); served rather questionable food. Quality ingredients good, contents good, but burnt to the point it should not have been served. One of the three was so burned, the majority I found debatably fit for my dog. The accompanied gravy was good. While potentially biased by some raging hunger, the egg roll was spot on... This place was terrible. It even smells bad somehow. I will not be back here. The tofu is super sweet, it's so sweet I can't even eat it. The springs rolls were also incredibly small. I could've gotten way better food at Chen's Garden or King Dragon. I recommend not wasting your money. read more

There are is one other Chinese delivery that I know of in my area, and I prefer this one more. I have ordered from them, both take out and delivery, several times now and have enjoyed it each time. It always is hot and fresh tasting. As far as Chinese food goes, it is pretty typical. Everything is standard and good. I also like that when you order a meal that is typically served fried with sauce (like lemon chicken or sweet and sour anything) they serve the sauce in a separate container. This allows you to drip or drech how you see fit and keeps the fried meat from becoming soggy. Good portions and reasonable prices. read more

I had ordered from Sunrise many, many times in the past and it unfortunately has continued to get worse. Tonite will be my last order. Ordered General Tso's chicken,, Happy family, fried rice and Egg rolls. The egg rolls had a sour taste.. the happy family was missing any protein ( meat/seafood) and the general's chicken was nothing more than over fried breading, and the smallest specks of chicken. From the moment it was deliver the smell was off. My bourbon chicken still had skin on most of the pieces and they were barely chopped up(very large pieces when it should be chopped), the rice was hard and undercooked which makes me question the smell even more. The chicken Lo mein, fried rice, and bourbon chicken(which is all we got) all tasted very similar(also same color, a dirk tan color) which I would label as a dirty pan flavor. Ordered delivery online and was given a time of 40-60min. I wasn't in a hurry for it to come so I was pleasantly surprised when I got a knock on my door less than 20min later! The food itself was your typical American Chinese fare. It all arrived almost too hot to eat! I had to let the egg-drop soup cool down for a bit first but it good. My family has gotten used to the mediocre food from here because it's the only Chinese place around that delivers. My son even cooks the fried rice when he gets it because it's no where near any kind of fried rice you've ever had. It has a hint of yellow that we are not sure what it is and absolutely no egg in it at all which is a staple for fried rice. Tonight was the last straw and we will not be ordering from them again. The food was bland and only half way cooked. The fried dumplings looked and tasted like all they did was take the steamed dumplings, throw them in a pan for less than a minute and then into the container. The beef egg foo young was gummy inside which means that the egg batter was not cooked all the way. Uncooked egg is not a good thing to be serving unless you're trying to make people sick. There were no sauces included or fortune cookies. I'm sure if I asked I would be charged an extra dollar as they're so fond of doing. There wasn't even a packet of soy sauce which is pretty standard. Customer service is a joke and they have no concept of what it means. Their attitude borders on one of annoyance. Like the customers are so annoying that they can't be bothered. I say don't be bothered then and close up shop. When we called to complain they didn't care. They come across like it must be the customers fault. Evidentially they don't care that they're going to make someone sick with the improperly cooked food. We've been customers of theirs for many years but not anymore. We would rather go somewhere and pick up a to go order than ever give this place another dime. This is the second time we have ordered delivery from here and the second time that they couldn't find our place. Our order came about an hour and fifteen minutes after we placed it, and when it did, the bag was soaked from our food seeping through. The food is just OK. It's not the worst I've had but certainly not anything special. If they used to serve the sauces on the side, they aren't doing that anymore, which is disappointing since the sauces are heavy and there is too much of it in the entrees. read more

The website says they deliver in a four mile radius. I live 3.3 miles from the restaurant (on the same road as the restaurant) and they told me they don't deliver to Hudson. Change your website morons. Anyone stupid enough to turn away a customer for that reason does not deserve my (or your) business. read more

Sunrise is our go-to Chinese place in Stow, and I have to admit that a large part of that is due to the fact that they deliver! Their food is fairly good for the area.. not too greasy, big selection and they're happy to alter dishes for the truly picky people (me). It's not amazing, either, but again -- for the area, I think it's the best bet. My only real qualm with them is their lack of spice. I'm not really a girl who's hugely into spice -- I like a little heat here and there -- but there is absolutely no heat in any of their dishes, as far as we've seen (and we've tried a fair variety). Even the ones marked with the chili pepper to indicate high spice content don't seem to have more than a dash of red pepper flakes on them. So that's something to keep in mind. As far as Chinese take out food goes, Sunrise Kitchen was pretty standard. Same food as most other places. General Tso's chicken was tasty. Little spicier than other places though. Egg Rolls were large and tasty, just the way I like them. Crab rangoons and sweet and sour were same as most other places in the area, but oh so good. Overall as good as anywhere else in the area. My go to Chinese in stow. Nothing really special about it, but it's typical American Chinese food. They deliver but it takes a while. The online order for delivery or pickup is very convenient and they run specials too. Quick in restaurant service. Everything comes out hot. read more

It's very average. The price is cheap, but you get what you pay for. The only bonus is that the Crab Rangoon is actually pretty good (for NEO take out). It's cheap, it's convenient, but it only works if you don't have any ingredients at home to make your own stir fry. read more
