3.5 stars I always knew Sunrise Deli as the lone Middle Eastern deli on Irving Street, surrounded left and right by Asian grocery stores, boba shops, and restaurants. But they've expanded now to multiple locations and a food truck too. The Lamb Shawarma came with strips of marinated lamb & beef, along with lettuce, tomatoes, pickled cabbage, onions, and a light, smooth tahini-forward hummus to go along with the thin pita bread. But in my opinion, the thing to come for is the falafel, which were nicely seasoned, earthy, and crisp (though a bit on the oily side). The Avocado Falafel was a Californian-inspired combination that came with falafel, hummus, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled cabbage, and slices of avocado, which had a surprisingly pleasant creamy consistency to contrast the earthy falafel.

I like the combination of different flavors together, the savory meat, sour vegetables, and dredging onions mix together very well. Just the wrap is not too well cooked, and it felt like a quick prepped food making. I will personally not order again.

If you even were about to die, don't try this!! It's an absolute steal. $15 for this!! also on the menu it says it has rice which it doesn't have! 100% steal! And the food wasn't even fresh

Picture I posted can be a bit deceiving....looks tasty but it for sure was missing the "BAM: in flavor. Too expensive, don't think I will go back unless I am really, really craving a falafel or a shawarma.....uh, maybe not.

Veggie combo plate for $9. Well worth it.

Food was subpar. So many better choices in the neighborhood. Service was ok. The vibe inside felt stuffy and old.

Nice people, but unfortunately I cannot recall having falafel this dry. Thought I'd give their truck a try. Avoid.

Tried a lamb shawarma wrap at the outer sunset farmers market. For size and overall taste, not worth the price. Would skip this one

Smallest falafel wrap I've ever seen in my life and I got the super.. they need to add a lot more ingredients for what they're charging.

The Leo's taco truck literally is located in San Francisco/Ocean Beach with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Leo's taco trucks are known in Southern California as THE taco truck for reasonably priced street tacos, that are beyond delicious. The experience at the San Francisco/Ocean Beach taco truck was great. For the most part it mirrors the LA experience, which is exactly what I wanted. It's like having a piece of home. Menu prices are nonexistent so there's no way to determine exactly what you're going to be charged. I ordered two Al pastor tacos, and was charged seven dollars which included tax. I really like that they always include a piece of pineapple with the Al Pastor. The tacos were absolutely yummy. The meat was flavorful, but definitely not as juicy as the LA version. Plus, they don't seem to be as generous with meat at this location as they are in LA. The talk of themselves are not the traditional small street tacos, and yet they're smaller than the traditional sized tacos. They do provide bagged condiments that include sauces and radish. I was super hesitant to try them because of some of the other reviews. Tasty tacos, and if you've ever been to Leo's, and you, in this part of the Bay Area, it's definitely worth a stop.

There was a long wait, with just one guy in the truck helping customers. But he was professional and friendly with a cheerful attitude. The place was sold out of lots of flavors, sauces, and toppings on the menu by late afternoon. But there were still some good options available like Mitchell's coffee flavored ice cream and grasshopper pie. We ended up just getting chocolate soft serve in a cup with TCHO chocolate dip, and it was simple, yet the perfect cold and creamy dessert to get my chocolate fix for the day, especially with the yummy hardened layer of chocolate fudge I absolutely love.

Good variety of Japanese takeaway food in eco-friendly food containers. Usually a wait since orders are cooked to order. My favorite is the OKONOMIYAKI with seafood! Think a lot of people have discovered okonomiyaki b/c lately they're sold out by the time I get there :-( So when there's No Okonomiyaki I turn to the OMURICE, an omelet filled with seasoned rice w/bits of chicken, generously drizzled with ketchup. Great satisfying bites for breakfast or lunch! They Also offer a OMUSOBA. Similar to the Omurice but filled with noodles instead. Hard to get away from the Omurice lol! Also will order their CHICKEN YAKISOBA when in The mood for noodles. Finally tried their KAKE UDON, plain udon with broth. Broth was a tad salty but it came together when I added some bok Choi I had bought that day. Really liked The SWEET FRIED TOFU W/UDON. A new fav!
