First time trying this place. We came on a friday night. Overall, the food options were very good & cooked fresh. The different variety of foods we got were all flavorful. Their kimchi is so fermented & so good. Nothing too special with ambiance & we had to wait a good time even if it wasn't as busy. Overall, if not in a rush, good place to get korean food during late hours.

Walked in on a Friday night around 7:30 or so because we had Korean food and some chicken wings. This place was on my radar for some time. The guy serving us was friendly. The place I feel has a young vibe. The food tasted great. The chicken hit the spot, and the pork noodles had some amazing flavors. The service was great, and they refilled the side dishes.

Wasn't too hungry so only order two items: Beef Bulgogi and Seafood Pancake. The bulgogi wasn't as tender as I expected and the portion size was a little small. I felt that the flavor was a little lacking as well, it didn't have much of a taste. The Seafood Pancake on the other hand, was AMAZING! It had a good amount of crunchiness to it and the flavor was on point: not too salty nor bland! This is a must try at this restaurant!

Hidden gem in the sunset for Korean cuisine! They have many options to choose from, and they are definitely on the pricier side but it's due to portion sizes so be sure to come in with people to share. Love their side dishes and purple rice. The pork bulgogi was great as well, and is enough to share with maximum 2 people. I also tried their Mandu, Korean fried chicken (garlic flavor, and japchae. Mandu is a must, but their chicken and japchae was okay. If you're looking for some Korean food, I would still recommend this place regardless for their meat dishes. I definitely want to give their stews a try next time. Also the interior is small and cute, and staff was very attentive and nice!

Yummy little spot good for late night chats and grub, although definitely in the pricier size in terms of portion per cost. Came with 4 friends and tried 5 dishes and two drinks. Forgot to take a picture but the Crew wings were garlicky and amazing! Also enjoyed the kalbi bbq and kalbi soup, along with the buldak omelette (new item). The alcoholic beverages like the watermelon hwachae and matcha honeycomb amakgeoli were such interesting flavor combos that worked together nicely. The hwachae literally had an entire watermelon in there; felt like never ending watermelon but very refreshing. Service was pretty good despite there only seeming to be one guy working the front. He looked a bit overwhelmed but was otherwise nice and attentive. Place itself is pretty small and you have to find street parking.

I visited The Crew with some friends on a weeknight, and luckily it wasn't too busy for us! We ordered Corn Cheese, Rose Tteokbokki, and Kalbi Jjim. I was impressed they were all very flavorful and easily shareable between a group of 4 people. We didn't get to try the Matcha Makgeolli or Watermelon Hwachae since we did come late, but hopefully we can try it next time!

The Crew is a good place to hangout and grab a bite with friends but the food is just alright. I came on a Friday night with a couple friends and the table was awkwardly small. The good thing about the location though is that there is free parking in the area. We got the fried rice with egg bomb, seafood pancake and beef tofu soup. The portions were huge. The dishes were all very aesthetic, however the flavors were just average.

I came across this place on TikTok while looking for a good Korean restaurant in the Bay Area. I was especially craving the seafood pancake and honeycomb makgeolli, so I ordered those along with the galbi and steamed egg. Everything exceeded my expectations, especially the seafood pancake. Usually when I order it at other restaurants, it comes out soggy and lacks seafood. The pancake from The Crew is hands down one of the best I've had. The honeycomb makgeolli was exceptionally tasty too, aside from the fact that I had bits and pieces of the wax stuck in my mouth. The waiter was very attentive and brought out the food quickly! I would definitely come back!

A small intimate restaurant that has decent street parking and most recommended for dinner, as it opens till 1am! Absolutely loved the tteokbokki, incredible flavor profile, was probably most notable for me. They're known for the honeycomb rice wine; it was very sweet and enjoyable! The waiter brought out the honeycombs itself and cut them for us, it was an original experience. (^-^*)/ The galbi and spicy pork were delicious as well, marinated and seasoned pretty well. It's nice to pair it with the purple rice! The wings fell a little flat for me even though it was a menu favorite I think I've just had better wings elsewhere, it was a bit too salty. Lastly, corn cheese you can never go wrong with at any Korean restaurant. Nice to go with a group to share amongst the dishes, especially the meats!

Coming from someone who often eats in la ktown, this place is pretty good! Service was really nice and there was good seating in the inside. There's like some silver theme going on inside. My friend was pescatarian but they took on the fish cake off from the rose tteokbokki for some reason which i didn't ask about.... anyway i'm giving this place 4 stars because theres a bit of a higher price point to the amount of food, and the food wasn't THAT good or unique to justify the prices. If you want korean food, this is the place, but there's no innovation or specialty here that draws me back

Walked in with a group of friends on a Korean food craving and luckily got seated right away--win! We might have gone a little overboard ordering, but zero regrets. The rice wine with honey was such a fun surprise--sweet, smooth, and perfect to sip between bites. The rose rice cakes were also a standout--chewy, creamy, and super comforting. Everything hit the spot, and the vibe was laid-back and perfect for group hangs. Definitely coming back to work through more of the menu!

    King tonkatsu ($20)

Went at 7:30pm on a Monday and there was plenty of space! We were seated immediately. The place is cozy; there's a projector playing videos, pop music playing, and chandelier lighting. There's some tables with comfy booth seating, and others with a grill. Service was friendly and very attentive. Fried chicken ($19 for 8 pieces) - crunchy and delicious sauce. We got the sweet and spicy sauce, but I'd be curious to try the garlic next time. Seafood pancake ($26) - very big. Would share among 4 people. I liked the crisp! We didn't get the mozzarella and I still liked it. King tonkatsu ($20) - yummy curry! Due to the heaviness of the food we ordered (since it was all fried), big plates, and price, I think this place would hit the spot for a late night snack after karaoke or going out with friends!

    Bibimbap with beef

Came out here with my sister and husband for a quick bite before heading to the beach. The food here is really good, we tried the bibimbap (beef) with the cheese corndog and the fried chicken wings. The food and service were very good, but it was pricey for what it was.

We had the pork spare ribs, a half-pound of brisket, sausages, baked beans, a pulled pork sandwich, and regular fries. The meats were good, but honestly not up to the level of BBQ you'd find in places like Los Angeles or Austin. Everything leaned a bit dry, so we ended up relying heavily on the sauces to bring some moisture back. To make matters worse, they forgot to include the white bread that was supposed to come with the ribs, sausages, and brisket. After all that, the standout of the meal ended up being... the regular fries, which were actually excellent. I also had to wait a bit when I arrived -- our order wasn't ready despite giving them more than the estimated time. On the plus side, the customer service was friendly and the casual outdoor seating has good vibes. Overall, 4505 has really gone down over the years, and SF definitely needs to step up its BBQ game.

Granted we were a bit late for our reservation, we ended up having to wait another 30-40 mins. The place (2nd floor) is small & awkward. Food - 4.5/5 Dish Ordered: Dino Rib, Brisket ( 1/2 lb), House Slaw, Banana Pudding 5/5 Dino Rib Wow. This was the highlight. The meat was unbelievably tender--every single part of it. Usually with ribs, especially the upper portions, you get some toughness or dryness depending on how it's smoked. Not here. This one was melt-in-your-mouth soft, juicy throughout, and you could practically pull it apart effortlessly. The seasoning was perfect--balanced, not too salty, not bland, just right. Every bite hit. 4/5 Brisket ( 1/2 lb) About two slices. Visually, it looked great--nice color, juicy, with a solid fatty portion. But after eating the Dino rib, it felt a bit underwhelming. Still good, just didn't hit as hard flavor-wise. Might be better appreciated on its own next time. 5/5 House Slaw This paired extremely well with the meat. Sweet, tangy, and refreshing. The hint of peanuts adds a nice nutty layer that makes it stand out. It cuts through the richness of the meat perfectly. 5/5 Banana Pudding Not your typical pudding--it's more like a banana cake. The sweetness not too overwhelming, smells amazing, and just hits the spot. A great way to finish the meal. Additional Comments The Dino rib alone makes this place worth it. It sets a very high bar, which honestly makes everything else feel secondary. The best Rib I have ever had in my life so far. Important thing to note is that the rib will be weighed. I don't think you can ask to get the portion you want like you can with the brisket. My Dino rib came out to be 1.6lb. The sides and dessert complement the meal really well and round out the experience. Price is bit is definitely in the higher end but the experience is definitely worth it.
