We came here for my friends birthday. They charge you around 37 per person and it's all you can eat. Everything was good but the kitchen closed midway and they told us that the kitchen was closing and it stressed us out a bit which shifted the vibe. Other than that the staff are so nice and the food is yummy. The watermelon drink was so good and the boba was good

Watched superbowl here. Pretty good hotpot + grill ayce place in sunset district. This one does the grill right, like their grill which seems to be ceramic or titanium that doesn't stick and burn easily. Marinate and thickness are about right. For hotpot variety is pretty good, standout is the large selection of soup varieties (but doesn't seem to have strong flavor, rather mild). Meat is fine though not much standout. Desert there is mochi ice cream. They biang biang hand pulled noodles are fun and good texture, though it is very hard to find very good biang biang noodles. Korean short ribs wasn't enough done, still had some rare bits. A lot of things to try though not top notch, but who is.

Great experience at this place! Upon getting seated, we scanned the QR code to look at what's available (it's the same price for whether you eat both KBBQ and hotpot or only one type) to order everything and within minutes the food started coming out. Servers were great at handling our large orders of meat and sides, changing out our grill once it got too burnt, and also refilling our water cups. Sauce bar also had side dishes like fruit and kimchi / seaweed salad. We asked them to do something special for our friend whose birthday we were celebrating, so they played the Happy birthday song and also gave a discount on our bill! If you plan on coming with a large party, you can also sign up for their free membership with a phone number and get 5% cash back and reward points for future visits

I don't understand how this place is ranked so highly. When we got started, I noticed that 2 of the 4 plates were dirty. The sauce bar looked very unclean, and some ingredients seemed to have gone bad. We ordered several items that we never received, even after politely reminding the servers. The food quality was mediocre--I ordered the steamed pork buns, and they came out cold in the middle. The broth was extremely diluted, so you're essentially cooking in plain water. That said, the servers were very kind, but the restaurant's system is clearly not working. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

We came here at night on Wednesday, and here's my experience: 1. Ambiance (4/5) The restaurant had a casual vibe and was quite busy when we arrived. It was clean and had plenty of seating. 2. Service (5/5) The service was excellent. We got a table for five quickly because we had already joined the waitlist on Yelp. All the staff were friendly and super attentive. Great service here! :) 3. Food (4/5) - Hot Pot (5/5):We ordered the Tom Yum and Miso hot pots. The broth was delicious and had an authentic, rich flavor. The meat was tender and fresh, and the vegetables were good too. I truly recommend the hot pot here! - BBQ (3/5): Personally, I didn't like the way the meat was seasoned. I prefer it unseasoned so you can taste the freshness of the meat. I also wish they had more variety in the meat options, lettuce, and vegetables. - Appetizer: It was okay, but our grilled ribs were super chewy :( - Drinks & Dessert (2/5): The drinks and desserts were way too sweet for us -- the boba tea, ice cream, and jelly.:( Overall: I definitely recommend the hot pot -- it was hella good! The servers were very nice and helpful. One downside was that the drinks and desserts were really sweet for us. Next time, I'd try a different broth!

Didn't even get to eat here due to the wait time for people with reservations We had a 7:00 pm reservation on Saturday (booked through Resy). The app showed plenty of availability, so we expected things to run on time. When we arrived, it was difficult to even check in, there didn't seem to be a dedicated host, and the person handling check-ins was also waiting tables. When we finally got to check in, we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. After 10 minutes, we checked again and got the same answer. We also noticed that tables seated at 7:00 were still waiting for their server 20 minutes later with no food. By 7:35, we were told our table was "almost ready," but we had other plans at 9:00 and decided to leave. Can't comment on the food or the ambiance, but the service and organization really need work. It seems like they're overbooking reservations, which is frustrating for guests who plan ahead. I can totally understand a 10-15 min hold up but 30+ min is a bit much.

The food was amazing! We came in for Mother's Day and I was very impressed that they didn't have a limit on order like other Korean BBQ. The service was great they let us pick what table we wanted. The place also looks amazing for a small spot. Highly recommend this place!!!

Looking for an AYCE hot pot and KBBQ? iPot is the place. I haven't been here in a few years and noticed a few things changed on their menu&service. They have one person from the table sign an agreement form that you know the pot/stove is hot. I usually do the AYCE hot pot. They have a variety of meats, veggies and noodles. They have a self service sauce bar with other appetizers (oranges, kimchi and etc).

Food is great and generously served. The service is top notch. My server Audrey is beautiful and friendly. She made me feel like I was a kid in a candy store. She helped me and gave me the best experience. The place is big and spacious. I truly appreciate and recommend making this a part of your destination when you are in the mood for AYCE Barbecue and Hot Pot .

AYCE hot pot and kbbq, what more can you ask for! Ingredients seemed fresh and plenty of soups/appetizers/options to choose from. If it's your birthday you get 15% off. Staff always seemed to be running around so it's hard to flag someone down. Had to follow up twice about missing items and never got them in the end.

All of the dishes were decent and were presented nicely, but nothing I tasted made me go "wow, I need more of this". Crab was fresh, but nothing amazing was done to it that a fresh crab from another restaurant could not emulate. Quality/Quantity - We had a large group, thank you for accommodating. I believe we made reservations, where we would not be seated until everyone showed up. Good thing the group all showed up on time (for once, lol). Ordered the following for our table, our other table had our larger half of the group. But due to the door mishap, I did not want to walk over to take pictures of their food/order. Okonomiyaki Fries - Was too soggy for me, but everyone else on our table enjoyed it. Popcorn Salmon - I did not enjoy this, but everyone else on both tables loved it, so it was "a me problem." Boneless Fried Chicken - I enjoyed it, but no one else did?!?! I guess I have very different tastes from this group...? Tonkatsu Ramen - Good. But very basic. Beef Short Rib Plate - Three orders, both people enjoyed it. Actually, our young eater ate 1.5 of this plate, 1/2 from his mom's order. This order also came with a side salad and steamed rice. Bulgogi Plate - I can't remember if I got my rice?!?! Well, the beef was of decent quantity, I actually brought a little back home for leftovers, with the boneless fried chicken. At home, it was a little too salty, too much soy sauce. Sizzling Bibimbap - My daughter's dish which was also good. I believe she had leftovers. Our other table got the regular bibimbap, they said next time they will try the sizzling as they felt that was better. Lastly, our guest on the other table ordered one of each dessert for both tables. Mango Panna Cotta & Chocolate Tartufo - I am not a chocolate person, but enjoyed the Tartufo better. Our guest wanted Soju! The first time, so we ended up ordering two hot larges. Smooth and went down too easily. I then finished my meal with a Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Love the menus and the happy hour information. Might come back for HH. Small local restaurant. A few tables and bar seating. Clean restrooms, two unisex. Street metered parking, free after 6pm. Plenty of street parking. Service - Okay, the front door has issues... It stays open, then does NOT close. It is slanted, so you have to "force" it to close. When we ALL got here, I guess we left the front door open by accident. Well, the waitress did NOT appreciate that (I stayed outside taking my Yelp pictures while everyone else walked in). She gave me a LOOK... While I was still outside, more people came in and I tried to close the door for them and because the door is slanted, it did not close and had to be "forced" resulting in a slam, sorry. Got another look... After that, I went straight to my seat. Menus on the table. Price - Expensive, or did we order too much? I think our bill with tax and tip came out to almost $800. The decor is very minimal, nothing on the walls. They even have a restroom and a hand washing station right outside the restrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. "Le Soleil is a family-run restaurant that prides itself on creating a tasty dining experience that is inviting to everyone. Our unique cuisine is deeply rooted in the warm flavor profiles of Asian home-cooking with an approachable local twist. Dennis's love, passion, and creativity for cooking have been the key ingredients to his culinary achievements. Some of his signature dishes include Curry Crab, Hai Nan Chicken, Squid Ink Fried Rice, and a tableside Flambeéd Quail. Le Soleil is a staple in San Francisco's Inner Richmond neighborhood, serving generations of families since 1993." - https://www.lesoleilsf.com/ourstory #AsianFusion: SALADS: ~ Lotus Root - 4.5/5 This was brilliant. Refreshing and flavorful. My first time trying a Lotus Root salad! Pickled baby lotus root, bbq lemongrass beef, basil & ginger. The flavors work very well together. I thought it could have used a bit more beef. RICE + NOODLES: ~ Squid Ink Fried Rice - 4/5 Tasty dish. Crispy Squid Ink Fried Rice topped off with Tobiko. We could definitely taste the Squid Ink. They diced up the Squid and Shrimp into tiny pieces, looked more like morsels. We felt like they skimped on the protein. ~ Pho Risotto - 4.5/5 Excellent flavor. This just works! Creamy Risotto under a Rib bone, with Chimichurri and pickled Frsnos. The place was packed. Not an empty seat in the house. Food did take a little bit to come out... I'd come back to try the rest of the menu.

FOOD: 4 SERVICE: 5…read moreAMBIANCE: 4 VALUE: 5 We were able to secure a reservation at dinner time! We arrived at 5:40PM for our 5:45 reservation, but there is no hostess area, so, we had to grab one of the waitstaff. Once we got her attention, we were seated right away. We opted for the bar seating because we always want to be close to the kitchen action, and we were not disappointed. We ordered the following: 1. Hot Mustard Jellyfish Salad - fresh, crunchy Jellyfish tossed with spicy yellow mustard. Not really hot type of spicy, but the "clear your sinus" type that gets you at the end of the mouthful. XO Escargot w/Milk Bread - at first we wondered why the Milk Bread, then we found out its for lapping up the XO sauce. Definitely a different way to serve escargot! The Escargots are cooked with the spicy XO sauce and served in shell. Be careful when you are sucking the juice from the shells, or, you might get sauce going down the lungs. A definite A+. Fried Squab - what's the difference between a quail and a squab? The squab is slightly bigger and a little more gamey. But the crispy skin and tasty meat, no wonder it's a crowd favorite. Clay Pot Rice w/Chinese Sausage and Bacon - a standard Cantonese family dish served with a raw egg on top. A very savory dish with a hint of sweetness from the Chinese sausage. Fish Fragrant Eggplant - chopped eggplant stewed with fish sauce and served with bonito flakes. Very flavorful dish that just makes your taste buds want more. We finished off with the Red Bean Shaved Ice, which had boba and ice cream in the middle. A cooling finish to a Sichuan dining experience. Oh, the Free Bites of Roasted Peanuts and Smashed Cucumbers were very good and comparable to paid sides at other restaurants. Our server was funny and entertaining. The whole experience was definitely worth the wait. Come here and you can't go wrong!!

Four Kings! After multiple unsuccessful attempts to snag a reservation, it was finally our turn. (I…read moredon't have any tips or tricks, it truly requires a team effort to book). We lucked out with free metered parking across the street, but despite having a reservation for four, we still waited 30 minutes and were seated at the bar. This unfortunately wasn't ideal, as it made talking and sharing our food difficult. We ordered the following dishes to share: - Sichuan Cabbage - XO Escargot w/ Milkbread - Shacha Grilled Corn - Scallop Vermicelli - Claypot Rice w/ Chinese Sausage + Bacon - Yam Leaves with Fermented Tofu - Black Bean Clams We tried to order the squab, typhoon shelter crab, and a couple of other items, but they were sold out by the time we sat down. However, the staff graciously gave us the creamy potato salad and popcorn chicken on the house to make up for the wait and seating situation. Our group agreed that while the food was flavorful, most dishes leaned on the saltier side. Having grown up on Cantonese cooking both at home and at local restaurants, the flavors didn't quite hit the mark for me. Nonetheless, the dishes were all beautifully presented and relatively generous in portion. (3/5) The decor and classic Cantopop evoke a strong sense of nostalgia. For that alone, it was an experience of its own. (+1)
