After a day of thrifting we ended up at this gem. Today was my first time and I will most definitely be going back. We got there a few minutes after opening (5pm) and service was quick and efficient. Staff was very friendly and explained how to order using the tablet at the table. You can choose four broths which is really nice! The menu may have fewer selections than some hot pot restaurants but it is still satisfying for a reasonable price. They do have a couple larger tables for bigger groups but I don't think they take reservations.

Pretty good hot pot with decent quality meat. We walked in not knowing it was AYCE, but nevertheless had a great time. The ordering system was good, and it was really nice that you could try up to four broths at a time with their pot. The broths do tend more salty, so would recommend pick lighter broths as well.

I have been to Boiling Hot Pot twice and both times have been incredible! The service is great, the food smacks and the vibes are very cozy. For $35.99 for AYCE, Boiling hot pot has some of the most variety in terms of soup bases as well as toppings. There is also an entire side bar for DIYing your own hot pot dipping sauce. Each broth pot comes with 4 broths of your choosing and the two I definitely recommend getting are the Sukiyaki which is a sweet broth as well as the Green pepper soup which is spicy and has Sechuzan numbing elements. As for toppings, all of the meats were fatty and delicious, and they even had tons of veggie and seafood topping options. This is definitely one of my most favorite hot pot spots in all of San Francisco!

This place was great. It was $35 per person for all you can eat. The service was very fast but you also have a 90 minute limit. You order through the online menu tablet at your table and then the check comes out at the end. Service was fast. The soup was very hot. We never had to ask for more water because they provide alot of broth and the spicy is definitely SPICY here! They had a self serve sauce station. Overall I'd say this location is a very causal and lively atmosphere, lot of groups and young adults there. If you can't find street parking you'll have to look around the area and walk.

One of the best AYCE hot pot places in SF (and trust me, I've tried a lot of them). All the soup bases we tried were tasty, without any heavy aftertaste. There was a generous selection of veggies and hot pot ingredients, and the serving amount was perfect. The meat slices were large and tender. The service was very quick--the staff members bring out the orders almost instantaneously, as if they're reading my mind. Super affordable too! Less than $40/person. I would totally come back here again.

I tried three sauces; Green Chili, Ponzu sauce and mixed chilli nuts, mushroom and ponzu! They're all great :))

This is our first time trying this hot pot. We were looking for some hot pot place that is close to where we live. We usually go to the one in Sunset. We decided to give this place a try and we definitely love it and we will definitely come back!!!! The staffs are great!! They are very attentive and always checking in with us. They are also very informative and friendly :) One advice that I could give would be to double the sauce sections, so it can give the better experience for customers since you guys have so many sauces to choose from. It takes some time to choose as well :) All is great and we had a good time!!! :) Thank you so much!!!

I want to gatekeep so bad but it's already 1000+ reviews so who do I think I am? This place is the promised land. I really reserve 5 stars for something crazy. It makes you say "that's crazy" and this was CRAZY. 4 soups one pot. Game changer. Not only that but they have a vegan option for all soups?? Inclusivity right there, a real light in our current political climate AMAZING cuts available, all included in the all you can eat. This is trickle down economics done right. Wagyu, special beef, all of the meat was fresh and cooked within seconds and it felt good! A fine selection of vegetables as well as mushrooms and tofu! Like I haven't even heard of some of these. The enoki mushrooms look kinda mangled but still sublime. The seafood options were also plentiful and also tasted great, octopus, fishballs, I have no notes, we ate and they ATE. Service was quick, order on iPad so no need to flag down someone working there, I literally cannot stop praising this. I took Ls in the bathroom for my over indulgence BUT imagine, even after 3 Ls I'm still fantasizing about it, that earns a 5 surely. All for a price comparable or less than l other nearby spots?! You sleeping if you aren't here. If you do come here you will be sleeping from food coma. Prepare the sheets for meat sweats. What a journey

Amazing place. Experience is excellent here, you pick your broth bases and pick the meat/proteins you want and run wild from there. There is also a sauce bar that has many different toppings so you can create some awesome combinations to combine with your food while eating. The service here is very welcoming, quick to set you up at a table, servers ask if you have been here before to assist you in ordering. The ambiance here is cozy and easy for you to talk to family/friends while eating. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is a first timer for Hot pot, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

best hot pot in the city so delicious! I love the sauce bar and how you can pick out 4 bases! The spicy soup is def very spicy!

I came here on a Saturday around 1 PM for a solo hotpot experience, and I had a really great time. Even though I was dining alone, the all-you-can-eat price was the same and I was able to choose either two or 4 soup bases. I went with the spicy and tomato broths--both were solid, flavorful, and satisfying. The highlight for me was the meat selection. The AYCE menu includes eight different kinds of meat, with five of them being beef or lamb. I don't usually eat pork or chicken at hotpot, so I focused on the beef and lamb options. The meat quality was surprisingly good for an AYCE place--freshly sliced, not frozen solid or soggy, and served at just the right texture. Everything looked like high-quality cuts, and the flavor came through after cooking. I didn't try beef toro because that looks very fatty. Beer beef has a pretty good taste, but slightly fatter than others. My best is house special beef, which has a nice balance of fat and flavor. Ordering is done through an iPad on the wall, which is really convenient. Once I placed my order, the dishes arrived very quickly--usually within two minutes. With how efficient the service was, the 90-minute dining limit was more than enough time to enjoy everything at a comfortable pace. The staff here deserve recognition. The servers were friendly and attentive, and I saw firsthand how patient they were. The table next to me had some older diners who were struggling with the ordering system, and the waitress spent time kindly walking them through everything step by step. That left a great impression. The sauce bar was clean and well-stocked, and the overall restaurant environment was tidy and comfortable. I ordered quite a lot (receipt attached for proof ), but everything was consistent and enjoyable from start to finish. Dining alone here was smooth, fun, and filling. I'll definitely be back.

Great service! I always love an all you can eat hot pot place and for $35 each definitely worth it. I love that they let you select 4 different broths. We got the tom yum, miso, spicy and tomato broth. My favorite was the miso and my family's favorite was the tom yum with the tomato as a close second. The spicy broth was the least favorite as we all felt it lacked flavor, but I did add some of the broth to my miso broth which paired nicely. They had an ipad on the wall next to the table so it was great being able to put in consistent orders of meat and veggies without calling over the server. Remember the first broth you select will be the smaller portion one in the middle. We loved the selection of meat and veggies, especially the enoki and woodear mushrooms.

    Belle J.

Our new favorite hot pot in SF! This is the only place I have been to that gives you four different types of soups. We have to put in order ourselves on the ipad (or whatever it is that's mounted on the wall). Whatever soup you pick first comes in the middle and you get the least amount. We decided on the tom yum soup, miso soup, pork soup, and sukiyaki soup. My favorite was the miso soup. Pork soup was really bland and we didn't really like it. Tom yum soup didn't really taste like tom yum soup. Our least favorite was the sukiyaki one because it was way too sweet. I love how easy it is to order stuff on your own! You don't have to try to get the server's attention and even if you need to, they are always there to help you. They gave a lot of options to pick from: many types of meat, seafood, vegetables, sides, etc. I wish they included the drinks in the AYCE like other places. We got strawberry soju for $14.95 and it wasn't too bad, but we won't order it again. Service was really good. We would definitely be back next time!!

It was really quiet when we went, midday, but beautiful inside and the service was great. I appreciate that they have a unique menu that introduces a lot of brand new flavor combinations. A refreshing opportunity to try new things. Most definitely will go back for that duck truffle fried rice and to see what else they have.

There will be a little bit of a wait if you come at lunchtime, but the changing of tables is so quick, it's worth the wait. My table got many items to try out, including a number of dumplings and main dishes. We have no complaints! The servers were on top of their game, and every time a menu item was brought out, they would cross it out at the table, to ensure all our food was brought out. Each dish came out piping hot (especially the dumpling and wontons), and my favorite main dish was definitely the Braised Seafood + Tofu in Clay Pot. Pair that with some rice and your set. This place was such a vibe! Totally recommend; all our food came out quick --- everything was made-to-order, and they got nothing wrong. 10 out of 10!

Shops were starting to open up and we stumbled upon Hon's Wun-Tun House. We originally wanted to go to a different dumpling house but that one was closed at the time. As we peered into Hon's storefront window, we saw employees already busy making dumplings around 9am. We decided to give it a try and we were so happy we did! The servers were quick to seat us, give us water and take our orders using their tablets. We ordered the pan fried dumplings and the scallion pancakes. Everything was delicious! The dumplings had a good amount of filling and were hot and fresh. The scallion pancakes had plenty of scallions which I appreciated. I mean it wouldn't be scallion pancakes without the ample amount of scallions, right?! Lots of customers were having breakfast and I noticed many people ordered congee, so it must be one of their best sellers. Our bellies were satisfied and we were out of there in under 30 minutes. Bill came out to be about $23 after taxes and before tip. This place is great for a group of friends or families to sit down and have a meal while visiting Chinatown. The front of the restaurant has a kiosk to place orders as well (not sure if it's only for take-out orders). It's definitely a restaurant I would go back to when we are in the area again.

Great food and I love that their happy hour is 4-7pm goes pretty late, only available at the bar. I checked in and said im walking in here for happy hour. the host said ok happy hour and asked me do I want to sit inside at a table or at the bar? I'm thinking "o, I thought for happy hour I must be seated only at the bar, ok lets get a table instead then, maybe more comfortable." Got settled down and seated in the main dining room which was super loud. another server comes and I ask about happy hour menu and he said no that's at the bar only. so why were we ushered to this table? so I got out of that room and went to find myself a seat at the bar instead. bar is much quieter which is nice and more relaxing. for happy hour the ha gow and siu mai is about $1-2 off. coffee lava bun is good, gooey coffee filling inside and perfectly baked bun outside! 18% gratuity auto added onto all bills big beautiful space, especially outdoors with the ferry building view the cod is incredible. about $56 for half size and $100 for large size.
