The food was good. You have a choice of soul base and I picked the Kim Chi soup. Its all you can eat so you have many choice of meat and vegetables. The food was all fresh and good. However, the service was confused. Out orders were late and some were forgten. Eventually oir orders arrived but by then I was full with eating my vegetable kim chi soup. Even though we had some confusion, the food was still good. Its understandable when the place is full of hungry eaters. The staff was very apologetic. And we got free ice cream oit of it. The ambience was happy and smokey due to all the grilling going on. We were a big group and still had a good laugh and a good time. read more

A pretty standard all-you-can-eat hot pot spot. The broths are solid and the ingredients are fresh, but the sauce options leave something to be desired. They also have a quirky ordering system--you can only request 15 items every 15 minutes, which felt a bit restrictive. The interior could use some attention as well; I noticed a few slippery spots on the floor while walking around. Overall, it's decent for what it is, but there's room for improvement. read more

I tried IPOT for the first time ever. As a hot pot lover, this places was a little underwhelming. The service was lackluster, many items we ordered never actually made it out. Came around 1:30pm on Sunday by myself. It was not very busy. As a Chinese, I love hot pot. From time to time, I crave for hot pot, but my Latino partner is not very into hot pot. It's very nice they accept single person to have the AYCE. That was a very pleasant and relaxing lunch. I had ~8 orders of meat and some other items. All meat and meatballs are delicious. The plum juice is not very good. The sauce bar is good. I didn't see sesame oil but there are already a lot of choices, so I have no complaint. My experience of the self-order system is not bad. I think the system somehow dropped one item I ordered, but most of items I ordered arrived on time. Wish they can have half portion choice in the system, especially for the veggies. Would definitely come back for more rounds of single person AYCE in the future read more

Great selection of meats and sides, and broth was delicious. I really like that they allow you to do bbq & hotpot at the same time. Service was a bit of a miss, they kept coming to check on us but some items we ordered failed to come multiple times - which was weird. Parking is hard to find, so give yourself some additional time to circle around. The inside feels like any other hot pot restaurants, sauces are plenty and clean. read more

The food is good, I personally only do the hot pot but you can get half and half (hot pot and kbbq) I always get the deep fried buns with condensed milk and trust me it's a must. The service is good they'll take your orders when you're ready and the food may take a while to come out so I suggest ordering your next round when youre half way finished with your current round. The ambiance in the store is hustle and bustle but over all it's nice. read more

There is a variety of meat selection. My personal favorite was the Angus beef. For vegetables, I loved the sugar pea sprouts and winter melon. The biang biang noodles were thick and chewy. Me and my fiancée came here to dinner after a long day at the Golden Gate Park. We got the all you can eat hot pot and a bottle of sake. The variety of food was good, we got wagyu stake, bulgogi stake, mini sausages and a variety of vegetables as well. I chose the special Szechuan soup base and my fiancée got the curry soup base. It was pretty delicious, will say I much prefer their miso soup base. I was very impressed with the customer service! As a service worker the people here were so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the girl who helped us out. The ambiance was good. Can't really say anything about the ambiance it's hot pot ya know! My second time here and won't be my last. It's great to know that they do Korean BBQ now and that they follow the trend of advancement. Staff were doing the best they could to give efficient and effective service. Food will always be worth the price. It's a casual and comfortable ambiance. Bathroom is clean, sauces and sides section's cleanliness are consistently maintained. I'm glad that they survive through pandemic and they're still thriving. You now order by scanning a QR code and have to go up to the register to pay. The food quality was really lacking. I made a reservation for my friend's birthday, and we were a party of 7. I picked out this place because some people in the party can't eat meat, so I thought this restaurant was a good option for everyone. Upon walking in, it wasn't super busy especially in the evening. We got seated immediately and we ordered using a QR code displayed on the table. For an AYCE hotpot and bbq restaurant, there was a great selection of meats, vegetables, dim sum, appetizers, and even desserts. I ordered pork bone broth for my base and the wagyu for my hot pot meat. It was pretty good and flavored. I appreciate the open sauce bar and fruit bar too. I think the only downside was the dining experience. For ordering, you only have a 90 minute eating limit and 7 rounds. My friends and I had to wait longer for our meats and veggies to come out and did have much time to eat. I remember order hot tea, and it seems like my order got lost so I had to ask the waitress about my pending orders. Furthermore, check out was a bit complicated. My friends (the birthday celebrant) paid the first time for her meal with the 15% discount off for her birthday. After paying, another worker came to make my friend pay again. Apparently, she claimed that the initial transaction didn't have the discount or it was cancelled the first time. My friend was charged again and is still waiting for her refund. As of now, she disputed the first transaction because she was charged twice for her meal. I don't recommend coming here especially if you have a big party and also the wait time for your orders. read more

I had high hopes when I walked into IPOT because of positive reviews from my sibling. However, my actual experience did not match any expectations I had entering. The restaurant feels a bit worn down and is a bit unsanitary. The sauce bar is mislabeled and there were spoons in some of the sauces. This made knowing what I was putting in my sauce almost impossible. Nevertheless, I tried to still have a good meal. Before we ordered, we were asked to sign a liability waiver. We ordered on an iPad. The items I ordered and the items I got were not the same. For example, I ordered shrimp paste and got fish paste. I ordered beef and got lamb. This mismatch of food lasted till the end of my meal when I was brought the wrong flavored ice cream. However, it was not all negative. I enjoyed the little noodle tower (although the lettuce that was beneath it looked a bit old.) I enjoyed that there was the option of getting individual pots or a big shared pot. I enjoyed that the restaurant was easy to access. In sum: I do not think I will return because there are better hot pot options in the city for the same price or cheaper (We paid ~$40+ per person.) read more

Let me start by saying we had reservations and got seated quickly. We ordered food with the QR code but the food took 20 mins every time we ordered. The server NEVER came to check on us and we had to go get our own water at the counter. We ordered bbq meats to grill and they never put a grill over the warmer. We waved a server to tell them we need a grill over the warmer and they said they'll be back and NEVER came back. I don't think we'll ever come back here again. A caucasian manager came out during the end of our meal asking if we needed anything. But by that time its kind of too late. The 90 mins is up. This place needs to hire and train more staff. read more

IPOT has been my go-to for over a decade and it never disappoints. They do both hotpot and BBQ, plus a ton of sides and apps so there's something for everyone. We recently went with our family of 9 and had a great time. It's also our go-to spot whenever we have family and friends visiting from out of town since it's right by the botanical garden and Golden Gate Park. Great quality of meat. Unlimited brisket and ribeye is fire. Handmade noodles are a must-try. The staff is always warm, the food comes out quick, and the atmosphere is perfect for groups. Shout out to the team! read more

Seriously, this place is so good. Ayce kbbq and hotpot is seriously an amazing deal. They have so many side dishes with home made noodle and this has been my favorite hotpot place. I have been so obsessed with this place and been going almost every day! When nobody can keep up with my obsession i dine in alone and they are always friendly. We came around 6pm on a Saturday and it was decently busy, but they were able to seat us right away. Ordering is easy with the QR code and multiple people can add to one cart at the same time. We chose to do individual hot pots and the shared grill in the middle. I love that you have the option to do both at the same time and with 2 different broths. Their sauce station had all the things you would want and they had a few sides/fruits as well. I highly recommend the biang biang hand pulled noodles. They were so delicious that I got a second order. As for meats, the cow belly and pork belly were our favorites. It's nice that they include salt and pepper shakers to season the meat for the grill. She brought us a plate with about 5 or 6 different sauces they make themselves it was so good. I felt the portions were a great full size and the meat quality was great. This place is perfect to grab a drink, watch the game and even have a bite to eat. It's nice for two people or even a group. They have a wide variety of drinks and food for good prices. We asked for japchae about 5 times before it actually reached our table towards the end of our meal. The server/manager also told us that he had accidentally brought out 2 bottles of soju for us and that he'd COMP 1 bottle. We didnt notice that he had actually charged us for 2 and comped/subtracted a "third" one. So none were really comped at all. I just realized after we paid and that felt really sketchy.
