The Coke came in bottles but we didn't receive any bottle openers. To top it off, we had three food items missing. I called the restaurant again to let them know about the missing food - they were unapologetic and didn't know what the proper protocol was to fix the situation. The service was subpar and the servings were small. Won't be back. The next day we had food delivered from another local restaurant where both the food and service were outstanding, unlike at Zaytinya. UPDATE: After writing the Yelp review, a general manager at Zaytinya emailed me the following: "..."The restaurant normally offers takeout, but the location was actually closed that day for a private event. We were simply omitted oysters for the entire table, not just 1 person. She first heard our dessert selection incorrectly, cheesecake instead of cheese plate, so we corrected her 2x before she put in the order. This came back to fail us again at the end of the meal. The food runners drop off the little mezze bites/entrees, literally drop, so quickly, and give a very curt description in heavily accented English, then run away before any questions can be asked. The Sommelier is running so far behind in service that you either have your food grow colder, or finish half your course before he brings out with wine pairing. The wine should be poured before the course. It's simple stuff really. The pasta dish was suppose to have cuttlefish, clams, and squid ink pasta...but no cuttlefish was to be found, and a few of the clam shells were missing the meat. Really disappointing.
