Sunol Coffee is a ray of sunshine in the small town of Sunol, Just off hwy 84. Sunol Country Store is located next door, making it a two for one stop for snacks and coffee! Coffee is locally roasted and delicious. Service is polite and enjoyable. Plenty of outdoor seating on this quite Main Street location.

Sunol Coffee shop has quickly become my go-to in the morning. The espresso is consistently on point--balanced, velvety, and never bitter. My usual is a latte with hazelnut, but the seasonal latte (last time it was pumpkin spice) was also excellent without being overly sweet. Service is what sets this place apart. The barista (Scott) is incredibly friendly, fast, and actually remember names and orders. You can tell they care about doing things right, from the way they pull shots to how they check milk temps.

Very welcoming! I ordered a cappuccino and a sausage, egg and cheese croissant came out piping hot and was very quick. He even brought it to my car. Thank you again.

my friend and i visited sunol coffee on the way to lassen volcanic national park! The coffee was really good, we also got two pastries (peanut butter cookie and an almond croissant) and they were really good! the staff were all really friendly as well! 100% recommend visiting if you're in the area!

New coffee stop in Sunol. Sunol coffee , small batch Roastery. Great coffee, nice friendly owner (Scott) and helper Tony. Scott roast coffee offsite, very good! Pastry also available. At this point a few outside tables with shade. Great stop for cycling and hiking groups that frequent the area.

    Hot Nitro Cofee well needed.

A pleasant stop for a good wake me up. Their coffee shop is petite, value of their coffee is wonderful, and their staff is very polite. Awesome people deserve an easy 5 stars. Thank you for the drink Tony & team.

One of the best danish's I've ever had. The berries and cheese danish couldn't have been better. Coffee was also good and staff was really friendly. Nice place to sit down and relax on a weekend.

Sunol a very scenic spot with a cool vibe. A fantastic place to stop while on a bike ride!

Anyone that knows me knows my last meal in life would consist of Berry Pie for dessert. I look and there it is a Mixed Berry. I turn and ask the lady after she was done with her customer how much for this delight? She said it's $24. Without question I grabbed said pie, and went to the register. I told her that Berry is my favorite, and she went on to say that every Friday is Pie Day. She also mentioned that if I ever needed anything in particular, I could call ahead. She could have it prepared for me. Wonderful lady and beautiful service. Might I add that a pie of this weight and stature normally runs about $35 even $40 in some places. We had a slice the next day because I could not bear it any longer. Without lie this is the best pie I've had in years!!!! Years or even perhaps ever. It has to be realized that if there is Berry Pie of any kind on the menu it will be ordered even to go. There were actual whole berries, and it was not full of sugar like some pies. You can taste the natural fruit of summer, and the crust was perfection!!!! Now I have to wait for a Birthday to order a cake. I'm sure it will be divine! We came during their holiday special time so we were treated with items that I believe aren't on the typical menu. This was our first time visiting which I've been asking my husband to do for awhile. We were seated next to the door which I wasn't too much of a fan of because when it opened I could feel the breeze come in. Luckily it only happened a few times in the beginning. The inside has so many cute items placed around from tea pots to cups to small trinkets you can purchase. We tried about four different teas during our visit, two hot and two cold. We had Pretty Pink Princess, crème brûlée, tropical and I think pear. I can't remember the last one exactly. I enjoyed the crème brûlée warm the best topped with a little sugar cube and a splash of cream. It's cute that each table gets different tea pots and cups. Even on our table both were different too. I enjoyed the lemon curd, strawberry preserves and whipped cream mixed together with my biscuit as the starter. The tower included from bottom to top Cucumber sandwich, egg sandwich and chicken sandwich Meatball with mash and a cranberry topping, shrimp and steak, onion cheese pastry Chocolate macaron, cherry cupcake, chocolate mousse, fruit tartlet and fresh fruit I may have mixed up a few items because there was so much to eat and I didn't have a menu to take a photo of. I enjoyed each layer of food offerings we had but my favorites were the simple cucumber sandwich and the chocolate mousse. When we first got the tower I thought to myself that it wasn't going to be enough food but let me tell you it was! Of course you're paying a lot for the experience but I didn't need to go eat after we left so overall it was a great experience so it was a nice surprise.

Instead of just plain chocolate, their dark knight milkshake is a mountain of chocolate cake, chocolate fudge, and chocolate sprinkles, all on top of the chocolate gelato blend. And the grasshopper milkshake features peppermint and oreo cookies and crumbles, along with Andes mint candy (my fave) decorating the mint chocolate chip gelato mix. Too many tempting choices, but I had to go with the strawberry shortcake milkshake, made with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, angel cake, and topped off with chocolate fudge and crushed graham crackers... so many layers of flavor I just couldn't resist. As it turns out, the graham cracker crumbs are mainly for decoration, most of it pretty much glued to the plastic mug (not edible). And what shined in this dessert was the "shortcake", not the strawberry. Besides those 3 strawberries on top, I actually didn't get much strawberry flavor from the shake itself. Slightly disappointing, but like I said, the sponge cake and toppings were fresh and tasty, and the gelato wasn't bad, just lacking a sweetness and tartness that you get from actual strawberries, tasted almost watered down. Luckily, the presentation of the drink (served with both a spoon and straw) almost makes up for that. And I love that 50% of their profits go to charity. They're based in Atascadero, but travel to different events and festivals all over, currently at the fair in Pleasanton this summer. We stopped by around noon on a Saturday and were thrilled to be seated immediately--which is a massive win for a weekend! Despite getting a table right away, the place had a great energy and was filled with people enjoying their brunch. They have plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. The food and drinks completely delivered: * The Chocolate Bonus: My son ordered this, and it was a showstopper. A chocolate crêpe packed with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella, then topped with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. This was hands-down one of the best crêpes we have ever tasted--absolutely heavenly! * Chorizo Omelette: My wife and I shared this, and it was divine. It was served perfectly warm, cheesy, and loaded with spicy pork chorizo, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. * Mushroom Galette: Our second shared item was a savory buckwheat crêpe filled with mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms, and red onions, all topped with a gorgeous sunny-side-up egg. Another really good, flavorful dish. * Ham & Eggs: Ordered by my daughter, this came with a side of home potatoes and garlic toast. It was a solid, decent option that rounded out the table well. The Drinks & Service We ordered a Vanilla Latte and a Caramel Latte. Both arrived extra hot and featured some beautiful art on the foam. The vanilla latte in particular was exceptional--honestly one of the best we've ever had. To top off a wonderful meal, our waitress, Jocelyn, was incredibly nice and attentive throughout our visit.
