I was looking for some close new places to my office to try for lunch this week and decided to stop in. It was about 12pm and there was one other patron inside the cute little cafe. I was greeted right away and sat down to check out the menu. I chose a pancake and some bacon for my meal and didn't have to wait too long for it to come out at all. I had ordered a chocolate chip pancake but it came out with blueberries so they remade that for me. Normally I'd have just eaten it but I really am not a blueberry fan so I had to say something. The bacon was okay, they ask if you want regular or crispy. For regular it was pretty dang crispy so I can't imagine what crispy is like. The pancake was fine, they're pretty big so one was filling enough. Just wasn't wowed by anything so next time I'll have to try something else maybe a Benedict!

This is the ultimate cozy breakfast spot that feels like home. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the friendly staff, everything about this place screams comfort. Definitely try their waffle and BELT sandwich!

This is a nice find for breakfast in the sunnyside neighborhood. The chef at the time of my visit has southern roots, and the menu has inventive and soulful egg dishes. The wait was about a half hour on a Saturday morning, and the food took about a half hour but it was delicious. I have no criticism for the food. The restaurant itself is pretty small and was quite noisy. It was hard to hear our waitress' voice and the volume might be a too much for some young children that are sensitive to noise.

Food: fresh and simple. Best Huevos in Colorado. My mom's latkes were on point. Excellent coffee and espressos, too. Service: local shop that is family run and owned. Super warm servers. Ambiance: comfort. All of the things that remind you of your favorite grandma's house in some way. Bonus: Coca-Cola products!!

The food was incredible--this small, cozy spot delivers big flavors. Service was excellent, dishes arrived quickly, and everything exceeded expectations. I'll definitely be back.

Neighborhood place to have coffee, breakfast, smoothies. Come hungry because the portions are big and delicious. Their pancakes and waffles are amazing. Waffle was crips, fluffy and just sweet enough. Maple syrup was organic as was the regular coffee. Parking can be a challenge since it's really just off the street parking. Service was prompt and friendly too.

We're from Texas, I grew up eating grits, my momma, nan and aunts have made grits a 100 different ways and these came in an incredibly close second to my nans. Hands down some of the best grits I've ever had. 10/10 this place is SO good! Staff was friendly and excited to help, the service was great! The restaurant is a small neighborhood cafe so be ready to wait if they're busy but I guarantee it won't be long, super cozy, loved the plants and decor!!!

Omg! This spot is so cute! It is just another little brunch spot, but without the insane wait and intense amount of people. The food is really good and you get a decent amount of food. When I went, there was only one server and she did a great job. So I must giver her the flowers she deserves.

This diner proves that you…read morecan have dessert for breakfast with their extensive list of sweet breakfast items ranging from cereal-themed French toast/pancakes to filled-donut flights. I got a taste of their jelly from the side they gave me with my scramble and it was the best jelly I've ever had in my life. I'd so buy a jar of it to bring back home next time I'm in Denver if they have it for sale! Our server was so informative about the menu options and gave us recommendations. I was so indecisive with my coffee choice and he helped me narrow it down to a classic cappuccino- blessed! He was kind enough to let us order a to-go item ahead and placed it on the side for us to pick up before heading out. The food came out very quickly and pipping hot as well. The Boulder Scramble 8/10: Slightly heavy on the feta but who doesn't like cheese?! The potatoes were well-seasoned and the sour cream added richness to the meal. Sourdough was lightly toasted and extra yummy with the smooth side of butter and sweet jelly.

The variety of toppings makes it fun to mix and match. The Thai Peanut was unique and surprisingly good, but the Mexican Chocolate was the clear favorite at the table. I had the avocado toast. The side salad was a standout -- spinach, small orange slices, and a berry vinaigrette. Super fresh, light, and refreshing. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and said it had great flavor with a nice kick of spice. Vegetarian options were clearly labeled, with a note to ask about vegan swaps. The service, unfortunately, didn't match the food. We waited at the door for at least 10 minutes without being acknowledged. After we were seated, our server started taking our order but stopped midway to run someone else's food. We also never got water refills, and with just one napkin each for donuts and a full meal, I found myself folding and refolding mine a million different ways. Overall, service felt slow and a bit disjointed, like we weren't a priority. If the service improved, this would easily be a go-to brunch spot.

I…read moredon't find service in denver to be that great, but after chris left our table , my son asked , "are we in nyc?" . Chris was helping another table and noticed my daughter knock over my iced coffee and without a word he brought over another and cleaned the mess. He anticipated our needs. We need more service like this in higher end spots! In a casual spot like urban egg, this really stood out and was incredibly appreciated. The food here is also delicious. The bacon jalapeño jam is out of this world. They should bottle it. I usually don't think eating breakfast/brunch out is worth it but this place is fantastic . We ate outside. It was nice! I wish I took pictures but didn't bring my phone. Everything was delicious.

My #1 issue: the food was SO bland. The chicken I got was the most unseasoned chicken I've ever eaten - zero salt. Biscuits and gravy were smothered in so much sausage and gravy, yet the salt again was non existent so could barely taste anything. Beyond the food that tasted like nothing, nearly every dish we got was dirty. My water glass had a floating piece of food in it and every plate had smudges or crusty bits from not being washed properly after the last customer. So disgusting. And finally, despite a reservation and a pretty empty restaurant we were seated in one of the worst spots. The tables are so close together, I felt like I was sharing my table with the people next to me. Super awkward and uncomfortable. Our server was nice, but nothing could save the terrible experience I had here. Certainly will never be returning - there's so many top tier brunch spots in Denver I would never choose to go here again.
