I woke up hungry and ready for a cup of coffee. I was especially pleased to walk in to have a treat and found live music in this great spot. My hubby joined me after his golf game and we sat there enjoying delicious sandwiches and coffee. My only negatives were the service was questionable and the coffees were way too hot. Mine bordered on bitter. The gentleman delivering orders spent too much time going from table to table trying to figure how who the food belonged to. There is a cute patio but we chose to stay in and enjoy the music.

A very short time later, she approached me again and tells me that I have been sitting here for 20 minutes (definitely did not seem like 20 minutes) and I have to order something or leave because Starbucks has changed its policy. As someone who has spent their entire career in the food, beverage and customer service industries, I suggest, #1 If the new policy is not posted somewhere in the store then staff should kindly inform guests. Not time people and tell them how long they have been there and told to leave if the do not order something. #2 The new policy should have been politely and respectfully conveyed the first time she approached me. Please train your employees the proper way to inform guests of new policies, how to politely and respectfully speak to customers and exactly what customer service is.

I made my usual list and she picked the places to go and this coffee house was one of our first stops. Emily and I chilled in this area for a bit before switching back to the main area. On our way over, Emily grabbed a shirt to take home with her. I ended up taking the water they had out and topping it off a few times before we left. And how was the Three Broomsticks? Emily said it was incredible with a smile on her face. I took a small sip and I would have to agree. If I had her foam on my americano, it would've been a match in heaven. Coffee House Cafe and Goods was a wonderful stop. I really liked the Harry Potter-themed drinks, I really liked the vibes and friendliness of the place. I just wish getting into the parking lot didn't feel like pulling a move out of a Fast and the Furious movie.
