Giving 3 stars because overall I like atomic. But my mom got a cold brew with half and half and sugar free vanilla and it is SO AWFUL. She asked me to try it because I worked there for about 2 years in the beginning of college, and it doesn't taste right at all. It has a stale/ sour and fruity taste but not like they accidentally put syrup in it. Literally throwing it away, neither of us can stand to drink it. I understand a majority of your clientele are there for energy drinks, but advertising yourself as a "coffee bar" and serving coffee with crushed ice is honestly a joke. in all my years of drinking coffee, and even drinking atomic, i've never come across a place that uses crushed ice and cares about the quality of their coffee, for very specific reasons. my large iced caramel fusion lasts at most 20 minutes before becoming a watered down mess and for what your customers pay for some espresso and chocolate milk it's very disappointing. additionally, the covid precautions were lacking all throughout the pandemic. rarely did I ever see employees wearing masks, even during peak infection spikes in the QC, which not only puts the employees at risk but the customers as well. I would also argue that the maskless-ness probably attributed to their multiple early closures/breaks (not just one, can't remember how many in total) due to employees testing positive. would love to see some changes so I can start coming back, no hate towards anyone. read more

Such a great gem! They have so many varieties to choose from; there is something for everyone. They are drive through only and when you pull closer to window they have a QR code for their menu so you can look while you wait. The ladies here are super friendly and they have great recommendations. I ordered a caramel frappe, normally I don't get the super sweet drinks but my sweet tooth had other plans. The coffee was very forward surprisingly, and complimented the sweetness very well. It's not like any other frappe you have had before. The second time I went here I ordered the a almond milk dark chocolate latter and it didn't let me down either! Such a great place to try. read more

Great energy drinks that are a local favorite and we are now hooked. It is our first stop every time we travel to the area.

Update: This was my one of my favorite coffee shops. That was until repeated miss makes of my coffee order. The worst part about their mistakes is that, if a screw up happens, there is no fixing it. Due to the long lines on either side of the store and no one answering their phone. I always order the B-52 Bomber which is only listed as a hot drink. I am always asked if I want it made cold. Excuse me, I have to tell them to make the drink hot. They always assume, I want the drink cold. Why? It's a coffee shop, not a smoothie shop. But when I get my drink it is the Bomber which has less coffee in it. I know a lot you like you cold coffee and frappe's but when a menu item is listed as hot it should never be, assumed as a cold beverage. It would be like asking for an ice cream cone served as melted with a soggy cone. It keeps getting aggravating that the Baristas do this, The service is slooow! If they aren't hanging out the window talking to a customer in a car for several minutes (nothing being served to them in that time) with lines behind them. The store music has quieted down from what it used to be, but it's still pretty loud were you need to repeat yourself several times. Which even then the orders aren't still right. When your order is made right the coffee and drinks are good. Otherwise it's a coin toss. read more

There is no reason to wait for coffee for 40 min. If they can't make coffee fast enough to serve the customers in TWO lines ..... have one line. This place makes no sense. I went to Atomic two days ago and bought an energy drink. Shortly after pulling out of the parking lot before even putting in the straw, I noticed a dead wasp floating in the ice of my drink. Had to go back through the line, waiting another 20 minutes. When we finally get to the window, no apology was given, only "Okay. We will make another one." Service was very fast though both drive-thru lines were long. My iced latte was just okay. Coffee was mediocre. This place though is not a "bar". A bar suggests that there is a place for patrons to sit. This is only a drive-thru. There are not a lot of options in Davenport, this does in a pinch and it was near my hotel. I don't know why it says it has free WiFi. They don't appear to have WiFi. read more

I LOVE atomic!! But it sucks that usually we have to wait a long time. It's definitely worth the wait but sometimes it ridiculous that people have more than 5 orders in a car. That is what holds up the line!! In my opinion it would be best to limit the drinks per car ... I'd say at least 5, and if they need more, to call ahead!!! I generally like the business and their product. However, the staff lacks basic discipline. It's not a mall job. Just because your friends are going through the drive-thru doesn't mean it's okay to socialize and hold up the line of eight other cars and customers. I always want to support the little guy and of course want them to succeed so I try to find the good in them all. Atomic's good is their incredibly reasonable prices. I got 2 medium sized lattes for the same price I'd pay for one at Starbucks. I do like that they have two drive up windows to help get their lines cranked out faster. Which they need because every time I've gone to Atomic they're always jamming and both lines are long. So good for them, getting business! But their bad kind of outweighs their good for me. The drinks are never consistent! I've gotten the same drink the 3 times I've been there and each time it not only looks different but tastes different too. We came for a chiropractic event and stopped by the drive thru - our big van is XL and wouldn't have made it through the window awning, the guy came out and offered to take our order and even threw in a free drink since it was our first time there!
