We were traveling between Los Angeles and Topeka Indiana. We slept over night Davenport Indiana. We woke up and wanted a good breakfast. We found Jimmys pancake house. Very clean place, customer service is amazing. But the best thing biscuits and gravy the best gravy I've tasted in years. So if you are driving thru Davenport I recommend Jimmys pancake house. read more

3 1/2 stars. I was seated immediately (8 am Saturday.). Took a few for the waitress to get to me and take my order: a Meatlover's Skillet (upgrade to the famous lemon blueberry crumble pancakes) and a large OJ. OJ was pretty tart, pancakes were fluffy as advertised, had a frosting-like topping (not too sweet) on them, the crumble topping was pretty soft. The skillet could have used more toppings to balance all the hash browns. Service was a little brusque, it was the morning rush after all. Ambiance is basic diner. read more

Very crowded diner with extremely friendly staff! Food was served fast and was delicious. We will return but call ahead for a table. read more

This is now my go to place for breakfast in the Quad cities. I truly enjoy every bite of their biscuits and gravy. They are delicious and a must from their menu. However, their menu does prevent a challenge because they're so many other delicious items to pick from. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. Jimmy's pancake House is definitely one of the best! read more

Great place to stop for breakfast. Driving through town on vacation and worth the stop. Friendly staff and great food.

This was a killer breakfast!! First time but won't be my last. The service was quick and friendly. Not too noisy even though it was busy. Everything you'd want when eating out for breakfast. read more

Jimmy's Pancake House does everything right! This will be long because there is a lot to cover. Got on the waitlist through Yelp on the way. They were busy, but I appreciate that they did not seat people because their kitchen was backed up, not because there were no tables open. When there were more people than seats for waiting, they offered to text guests so they could wait in their car. We were seated in a booth. I ordered the two eggs, hash browns, and ham. You could also choose toast or a pancake. I asked to upgrade to the current special, carrot cake pancakes. My husband got the steak and eggs breakfast. All of our food was very good. The pancakes were delicious. Took most of our pancakes to go since it was too much food. The other component of a phenomenal establishment is service. Service was excellent. We were impressed as we watched every server help other servers with tables that were not theirs. Other servers would walk by and refill our drinks when they noticed. A larger table left a very messy table and floor. The busser started cleaning and two servers went over and assisted. They communicated well with guests and other staff. When I asked for the hash browns crispy, the server explained that she would request it, but because they make a large amount at once they may not be very crispy. I appreciated that. I would've really appreciated it as I ordered, but I understand a busy kitchen. When servers did something for another table, they let that table's server know. For instance, one server said, "Whoever has table 3, I gave them boxes." This let's the server for that table know what was done and that the table was probably close to leaving. We were impressed by the efficiency, friendliness, and competency of all staff. I commend the owners/management/staff. There are many places that could learn from you. read more

standard fare... terrific service despite the busy crowd. we were here during memorial day weekend so they were on a limited menu (or more so - limited menu items) as they announced that they would be taking vacation after the weekend. it was communicated very clearly and graciously that no one seemed to mind -- my kiddos were very happy they were able to to fulfill their bacon order before they ran out haha. diner feel but they also serve mimosas :) read more

Quality food. Excellent service nice variety of menu items. Great crepes and pancakes.

Waitress was awesome wonderful service. I got the Jimmy grand slam ( eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, and toast) bacon, sausage, and ham good The hash browns were burnt and my egg (over medium) were over done I tolerated this UNTIL I found a hair in the damn food nope nope ‍ . Waitress was nice and took the eggs and hash browns off our bill but when she informed the cook of the situation (who btw had no hairnet on just a hat on backwards) he said " so what you think your going to make me where a hairnet now i don't think so" Never again we usually rip the Waitress and the cooks but only the Waitress did her job and unfortunately this has made it to where we WILL NOT be returning read more

We were initially quoted online at a 20 minute wait, ended up waiting over an hour. Hostess was very nice but not very forthcoming on the time estimate, rather told us that the kitchen is backed up and that they were simply waiting for one of the tables to get up. Not the hostess' fault, rather the establishment needs more seating for bigger parties and a way better quoting system. Sat down in a very nice spot, wait for food was also a big longer but it was very busy, so it was no problem. The waitress was good, not particularly kind but she got the job done with efficiency. Food was very very good and presented with care. Great meal overall, would come again, but definitely would not use the online system and be prepared to wait a lot longer than what they tell you read more

Jimmy's Pancake House is a staple to Bettendorf. It's the cozy, homey diner type stop where you will find the true locals. I came with a friend to catch up while I was back in town. I was excited to find white chocolate raspberry pancakes on the menu. I'd never seen this flavor for pancakes and it was not a mistake. The raspberry syrup makes for a strong raspberry flavor and the white chips add a perfect extra sweetness to pair with the tart raspberry. I was also definitely eyeing the breakfast wrap but went for sweet instead of savory. Next time I'm at Jimmy's, that'll be what I try. Service was great. read more

So we were looking for a new place to eat. YELP hit it out of the park. The place was packed. I'm so glad we hit the wait list button on the app. We arrived and only had to wait about 5 mins. Service was great. Very friendly and very on top of everything. The food was great also. From their specialty pancakes to their skillets. It did not disappoint. The place was very clean and had a good friendly vibe to it. Well worth the wait. read more

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a new breakfast place and we found Jimmy's pancake house. We called our order in. The lady on the phone was very nice when we finally arrived at the restaurant we went inside and it was beautiful interior decorating. We got our order everything was in the bag. Everyone was really really nice. When we got home and indulged in our food, we were completely satisfied. This is the best breakfast I had since I moved to Davenport two years ago I will be coming back Jimmy's pancake house. Thank you for the great service and great food. read more
