Amazing food and great views! I felt like I was on vacation in Florida or California! The enchiladas were superb... great chips and just the right amount of spice in the salsa. Great service as well. Definitely check it out! read more

D'Lua Fusion Cuisine & Bar - Mexican Near Me - Bettendorf, Iowa

We had an absolutely beautiful day so we sat outside along the Mississippi river in DAVENPORT. It was delightful. We had five people, and I don't think any of us thought that our food was more than average. Pretty mediocre. If you want to have a beautiful setting for lunch, but don't really care if Mexican food taste Mexican. This is the place to go! read more

The view from outside was nice. Theresa was was a 30 min wait and there were empty tables inside and out, but I could only see 2 servers total. Shame on management for under staffing. A couple with a child next to us were never attended to and wSited at least 30 minutes then left. I was served red chicken enchiladas when I ordered enchiladas suisas. I didn't say anything because we waited so long to get our food in the first place. My food was cold. The food was just ok. Arbarrotes Carillo is 10x better all around. read more

Our Taco Tuesday decided to try out the new Italian / Japanese menu. We were all very happy with our meals and the service. Our server was nice and very quick with every request. The spicy margaritas were quite spicy and tasty. The food was delicious. We all had a terrific time. read more

D'Lua Fusion Cuisine & Bar - The Lemon Tart dessert was scrumptious - Mexican Near Me - Bettendorf, Iowa

I was excited to try this place kinda busy in a Sunday so I sat at the bar It's a Mexican restaurant fusion? What does that mean? I waited at the bar patiently I do this thing at Mexican restaurants called the chip timer How long after you sit down do you get chips and salsa Fail never got them Ordered a Bloody Mary and it was flat couldn't taste the alcohol You will find out later in this review I ordered the chicken enchilada special with a hard shell taco The taco was pretty tasty however the chicken in the enchilada tased off hope I don't get sick One thing that really bothered me was watching the manager come from the kitchen make a bulk batch of Bloody Mary's then handle money from the register and go back to making Bloody Mary's without washing his hands As a matter of fact I didn't see any employees hand was or sanitize while I was there Excellent location with plenty of outdoor seating Even with that hard pass read more

Service was great! Bloody Mary was good. I had the Red Chicken Skillet and it was delicious! My wife had the country sausage gravy on biscuits with the links under the gravy. Eggs were cooked perfect over medium both times. First plate the gravy was cold so they did an entire new plate that was awesome! So many places would have just microwaved it and made the biscuits tough and over cooked the eggs. Well done! Had a side of pancakes and all I can say, is in my opinion and my tastes, all the other pancake places in the Quad Cities better look out!!!! Would have been 5 stars except for the cold gravy on the first dish! read more

We were looking for a place to eat with a river view - saw Dlua as we were driving by - and stopped in. Service was GREAT. Thank you June for taking such good care of us. The food was great - we LOVED the shrimp. We chose to eat inside due to the overwhelming amount of river bugs or mayflies (that was a good decision). Great experience. read more

I normally don't go so social media first , so I called to complain about a poor experience I had there last Saturday. Wrong order. Wrong tortilla , Wrong price, poor quality and the staff allowed this girl at the bar to have her feet on the next stool. All kids there, no adults, no one working half on their phones. I just called the manager and asked his name, he wouldn't give it to me and I said I just want to know who I'm talking to, and he hung up on me and wouldn't answer the phone when I re called. WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN read more

First time here and we LOVED lunch on the patio. We started with two jumbo margs that were awesome! I usually steer clear of margs because they're so sugary, but at D'lua they're not over-sugared, which I really appreciate. For lunch I tried a shrimp tostada and a fish taco. The fish taco was good, but the shrimp tostada was great! For Iowa shrimp, it tasted really fresh. Hubby had the Chicken Queso Rice and gave it a 10/10. To top it off the atmosphere and the service were great! We've been looking for a new go-to Mexican restaurant in the QC, and now D'lua in Bettendorf will be it! read more

Took my niece & baby cousin out for dinner & drinks. The margaritas were a little weak for the price mine was frozen & theirs on the rocks. I even added an extra shot to mine... blah. We ordered two of the queso birria tacos, steak tacos with beans & rice. The salsa & chips were OUTSTANDING!!! So, fresh & thick w/a kick but not too spicy. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Plus the customer service was excellent. read more

D'lua is one of our favorite restaurants in the quad cities. Their birria tacos are some of the best in the entire Midwest. If you've got a sweet tooth their churro pancakes are sooooo yummy. The staff if always friendly and the chips and salsa are also pretty great. read more

Lots of menu choices tacos, breakfast, and burgers! Drink specials everyday. Free chips and salsa. Salsa is a tad spicy. 2 couples in our party. No other customers, Tuesday afternoon. Drinks took a while to get, but definitely worth the wait. Food was amazing. 2 small combos, a fajita burger& fries, and a vegetarian meal. None of us could finish our food. We have been here several times and the food is always great! Love the red burritos! Service is really, REALLY slow. Don't expect to get in and out quickly when they have even a moderate amount of business and Friday or Saturday nights...no comment. I've stood there for more than 20 minutes before to get seated (no idea why I would wait that long)...they just keep saying "we will be right with you". COVID or not, that's bad service! Drive through doesn't know your there (no matter what the sign says), go to the front door and hope there is someone who will help you there, if not go to the bar...usually the look on your face by then will get the bartenders attention and they will help you. Owner really needs to post a phone number that actually works... I will no longer recommend this place, no matter how good the food is, strictly based on service alone. Very disappointed in how I have been treated the last few times I have been in there and will not be back until I hear of some serious changes to service. read more

Terrible service the manager Cesar was a complete ass hole he brought us the wrong food and my brother tried it didn't like it and we asked if we can exchange it or get a little discount by it he got mad and didn't serve us due to his little temper tantrum didn't bring us a menu so we decided to call over a lady for a menu she completely ignored us she stared at us but ignored the toilet was clogged and disgusting a worker peed and left nor washing their hands but just straight out the waiting time was forever this place is not worth anyone's time better off going to the McDonald's across the street read more

I sat at the bar and ordered a drink and my food to go. First time here so I didn't know what to expect. As I sat down the bartender put a mini Pina colada in front of me - what wouldn't fit into the tall glass of the drink he just fixed. It was delicious! I asked for a suggestion from the menu and he was gracious to provide that. The food was quick to come from the kitchen in spite of a few signs asking for patience as they are short on cooks. The food was great! The price is great! I will be back! read more

I've been there many times now with my wife, kids and grandkids... The breakfast is amazing! Many choices and you can get lunch too if that's what you prefer. The pancakes are fantastic! The kids love the flavored pancakes. I like the goat tacos and there is so much food that I end up eating a good part of the grandkids breakfast. Try the Chorizo omelette. Excellent taste and you will be shocked by the amount of flavorful chorizo Quantity and quality which is why the place gets busy on the weekends! Finally, this property finally has a restaurant that will be in business longer than a few months. read more
