I did an order for Los Amigos tonight thru door dash. When the driver got here, the bag was double knotted. It was missing 3 tacos. I called them and told them. The manager refused to admit that he forgot to put the tacos in the bag.. I've ordered here many times. Thru door dash. We have been here several times in the last month and now can't remember why it took us so long to come back before. Quiet, understated staff that isn't all up in your business. With that, they also were quick to greet us each time we have come. The salsa and chips were average, not spectacular but certainly delicious. We have had the standards like tacos and enchiladas (verde sauce is very flavorful), and we have also had more complex dishes. Everything tastes really good. Not stellar, but good. Well, I will just say that I after taking my first bite from my suspicious-looking cold "steak" fajita, I actually had to spit it out. It was that bad. Worse than bad. The flour tortilla however, was fine. As was the shredded lettuce that came on the side with the meal. My partner's chicken fajita was passable however (not good tho) and she was glad to share it with me because whatever I ordered that passed for a steak fajita was inedible. I did take the uneaten "steak" home to make the 3 Aussies happy, but the next morning, upon examining the leftover in daylight, it became very apparent that it was some type of pressed meat primarily comprised of offal. The menu offers an abundance of "meat" dishes so beware. I decided it was not even Australian Shepherd-worthy. To their credit, the waitress did offer to bring a chicken fajita dish but I declined. Also don't expect to get chips and salsa (like any other Mexican place in this hemisphere) unless you order it. We really should have trusted our instincts and not even gone in (it was prime evening dining time on a Friday and the place was empty) but oh well. read more

Their enchiladas are far better than Rudy's (also a local restaurant). The first reviewer must have been a one time incident visiting from out of town. We love eating here but the service has not been good the past few visits. Waited for 15 minutes tonight to be seated as the only people needing a seatwhen there were more than a dozen empty tables. Host told us he'd be right back and then waited tables and ignored us. We ordered take out and ordered beef tacos with corn shells, got flour. Ordered 4 beef taquitos and received 2 chicken flautas. Ordered carne a sada, received dried cubed tasteless beef. We got 2 orders of rice and beans with the tacos. 1 was twice as big as the other. 1 order of the beans, had guacamole on top. Ordered a large size of guacamole, received a small and tasted like lime paste. Ordered a large Pico De gallo, received a small as well. We did receive a monster size bag of chips (Hey, that was cool). They claim authentic Mexican food, but the only thing that is authentic was that it was Mexicans who made some food. We have spent a lot of time south of the border and I know what Mexican food is. I would've been better served buying an old el paso box kit at Walmart. They may have new owners but it's the same old crap as the old owner tried to pass off as Mexican food. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

If I could have I would've given this restaurant zero stars. They had lousy service, unclear menu items, and the food wasn't very good either. The server was slow. He asked if we wanted more chips. We said yes. Then he never brought them. Even though I told him since we are getting more chips I wanted some guacamole to go with it. He brought the guacamole but not the chips. We had to ask for things several times before we received what we wanted. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich. I was expecting to get a sandwich with meat in it. I basically got a sandwich with breading in it. I think maybe they had a cardboard thin slice of meat but there was twice as much breading on that 'meat' if it was there. So you really couldn't taste the meat. When I mentioned that it wasn't what I expected. The manager offered to bring me some toppings like lettuce, tomato and pickles. When I complained about the sandwich after the meal he claimed that he offered to exchange it for something else. read more

I believe a business might deserve more than one review before you condemn it to a one star rating.Over the past 5years or more I've eaten at Los Amigos Restaurant and I've tried many things on the menu.and truthfully i never tried the fajita but I'm sure Tom the owner would have gone out of his way to make them satisfied with there dining experience Let me put a more positive spin on your eating experience at Los Amigos. They have specials each day during the week and Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday are taco nights. There tacos aren't like you'd get at a fast food chain and are served with a generous amounts lettuces,cheese and tomatoes. I suppose they could serve the chips and sauce with each meal. Ah but you pay for it in the main meal prices.Instead you get reasonable prices and a good service. I personally like there Sancho covered with chili. There chili is very good by itself. To me the only negative could be the decor of the restaurant could use some work. read more
