The menu is easy to read and will be familiar in style if you're a Chipotle fan. The first thing I noticed was no steak. "What?!" I thought to myself. That was my sign to step out of my comfort box, and you can too. The steak may have completed a disappearing act, but in its place you'll find brisket, carnitas, chicken, barbacoa, and chorizo. Keep your eyes on that brisket and your stomach will thank you later, it was perfection and complimented the rest of the bowl just right. Their toppings are abundant with all the standards you would expect plus some refreshingly unique options to choose from such as an onion and cilantro mix, black olives, and colorful peppers. I sort of wanted to smother my bowl in both quesos like a fat mouse has dreams about, but I refrained and chose the regular white queso. It was just right and smooth as could be. Nothing like the nasty stuff Chipotle is out there serving. I'll definitely go for the mexiQueso with chorizo in it next time to try it out. Portion sizes are awesome. Half the bowl now and half the bowl later will be what your stomach tells you even when your eyes are telling you to keep going. No money wasted for sure. In all, MexiBro gets a 5 out of 5 burritos rating from me Happy eating, Clinton!

If there was a way to give 0 stars that's what they would get. Let me start this with if the restaurant claims to serve AUTHENTIC Mexican Cuisine that is what I expect! I DO NOT expect them to take advantage of people in the MidWest who may or may not know what Authentic Mexican Cuisine is. I took my wife out for her 30th Birthday and we started with Queso Fondido with Chorizo and an order of Guacamole. We were given the Queso Fondido with Chorizo (its pretty hard to mess that up, 2 ingredients melted cheese and chorizo). We then were handed a bowl of mashed avocados. We politely asked for some lines or lime juice, diced tomatoes, diced onions, chopped cilantro and diced jalapenos; you know EVERYTHING that should be in guacamole. I also ordered my wife a TOP Shelf Strawberry Margarita with 1800 Tequila and a sugared rim. We received a pre made WELL Strawberry Margarita with a sugared rum and a shot of 1800. We politely asked for it to be remade because NOBODY in their right mind mixes well liquor with premium liquor especially not in the same glass. We were then handed the "premium " margarita and after 2 test sips my wife asked me to try it. I took a small sip and immediately could tell that they just dumped the 1800 in the well margarita and called it a day. We finished our meal and asked for the manager, the gentlemen stated he was the manager. We explained what happened he informed us since we took 3 sips the drink could not be taken off the bill. He then stated with a pompous attitude that everyone else likes the margaritas and the food. I kindly explained it was because they didn't know what Authentic Mexican Cuisine was. We paid left zero tip and left. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time or money here. read more

El Tapatio is our go to restaurant in Clinton when we don't quite know what we want.The food is always good, the kitchen and dining room clean, and the staff welcoming. Also, they serve until 10. That's late for Clinton. Love the Mom & Pop atmosphere and value too. read more

Outrageously High Markup: Some of the produce prices are completely unreasonable. For example: 1 lb of frozen Spanish plums: $12.99 Small papaya (1.5 lbs): Almost $20.00 Medium chayote: $2.00 each Final Verdict: Keep a very close eye on your total if you shop here. If you question the cashier about these erratic prices, be prepared for a defensive response or a poor attitude. I hope management addresses this lack of pricing transparency soon.
