Food was just as good as the other locations. However the atmosphere was undesirable, music was way too loud, like I was in a nightclub at 11pm, not at a sit down restaurant at 11am. Had to request refills, and even when I asked for an extra plate because my daughter and I split a meal, it never came. Breakfast was not to my taste. The restaurant itself is clean. Service was fine. Portions are huge, but the food wasn't tasty. I ordered eggs scrambled medium. They were hard. The temperature was TOO HIGH so all you could get are hard eggs when the temp is that high. The biscuits and gravy tasted like they were made from a box. Blech. The home fries were bland. No flavor at all. They were the pre-shredded and frozen kind. So, cafeteria type food, which is not my jam. The French toast was slamming though. We have never been here, and stopped on a whim after hearing about it opening. We happened to be in the mood for breakfast. The service was friendly, but not particularly fast. I kinda needed my morning coffee and felt that I should have brought my own thermos considering how long that took along with the refills. The biscuits and gravy I ordered was "okay". The gravy tasted like it was from a jar and not homemade. The biscuits tasted almost exactly like Pillsbury biscuits you get from a can at your local grocery store. The hashbrowns were previously frozen, fried, and then not seasoned at all. The eggs were.....eggs. Sorry, but this is a step below what I can do at home as making my own gravy isn't hard or time consuming, and I season the hashbrowns. The pancakes were also "okay". Nothing special. Tasted like a pre-made mix with things added to them. Nobody was thrilled about the different pancakes they had except for one batch. read more

Just stopped with my family at D'Lua Pancake & Burrito House. I was interested in a Mexican restaurant serving breakfast. We were 100% blown away by the place as a whole. Our group of 7 was immediately seated. Drink orders taken and meal order taken after drinks were served. Our server, I regret not getting her name, was stupendous. Whatever they are paying her, it isn't enough. Our orders were brought out in a timely manner and wow!! Their portions were HUGE!! The omelettes and burrito were Nerf football size and had to weigh just south of 2 lbs. To top it all off you're offered the choice of 2 sides consisting of toast, hashbrowns, short stack, French toast or fruit. All 7 of us got to go containers. The restaurant itself looks really good and is mostly unchanged from its previous occupant. The menu is vast, though not particularly cohesive. Unfortunately, I wasn't blown away by my food. I ordered the red burrito that came with an okay sauce and way too much rice. There's supposed to be some kind of meat and cheese inside, but I couldn't find any. I also ordered a pancake that was very fresh and pretty good. My boyfriend loved his breakfast burrito. First, please let me say that I am from Texas - where good Tex-Mex is had for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and anything in between - all day.... I have also lived in Iowa for many years. So as Iowans love pork chops and sweet corn, we love our Tex-Mex. There is nothing "fusion" about this place other than you can get pancakes all day. Let's start with the food. The queso was watery and tasteless. I get the white cheese, but this was just not good. One of our diners had the beef fajitas. The meat was tough and dry. Where I come from the fajita meat is in sizeable chunks and hot. This meat was in such tiny strips (picture less than 1/2 the diameter of a green bean) that the meal was not enjoyable at all. Another diner had crispy beef tacos. His comments were that they were only as good as Taco Bell. The standout meal of the night was the ceviche tostada which one diner said was delicious. Now for drinks. Do not order the 24-ounce margarita. The glass may be 24-ounces, but it was so filled with ice it was evident that there was little drink to be consumed. Besides the ice watered down the drinks so fast they were tasteless. The only drink that was acceptable was the bottled Corona. Service? Frantic at best. We ordered drinks and queso first. Then ordered our meal 10 minutes later. The meal came before the drinks by at least 10 more minutes. Several "managers" did stop by the table to inquire how things were - which was nice. When it came time to leave, we waited another 10 minutes because our waitress did not come back. One diner went to the front and found her texting on her phone. The bottom line is another failed Mexican restaurant in the QC. Take a trip to Texas and learn something about good Mexican food.... read more

We went to Moline for breakfast. Daughter loved her Oreo pancakes, I got the eggs, hash brown patty, French toast and 3 meats- ham, bacon, sausage. All was great! We were immediately seated, service and food was fast. Also got 1 carne asada taco just to try and it was the daily special. It was VERY good, seasoned well, NOT dry. All areas of the restaurant looked clean and well maintained to include the bathroom. Will go again!!! Just wish they were open during dinner. Would love to go after work. read more

Our server, Ana, greeted us promptly. She was attentive the entire visit. She kept our drinks filled as well. The atmosphere is nice. Plenty of seating, as well. The food was great. Chips had a homemade taste and texture. Salsa also appeared to be homemade with just enough of a little kick. My girlfriend got the Queso Fries Burrito. It was huge and full of flavor. Delicious. I got the Al Pastor Burrito. Again, huge and packed full of flavor. Did I mention how big the burritos are? We each had to take half home after the complimentary chips, salsa, and fideo. I can't wait to get back there and try the pancakes. The table next to us had some and they looked incredibly fluffy. We will be back very soon. read more

I've been hearing great things about this place and couldn't wait to try their breakfast, however we missed breakfast but we were not disappointed! Upon arrival the place was popping, most tables were full and all the staff were courteous and very welcoming. We started with a bean dip to keep the kids at bay, I wasn't expecting too much out of a bean dip but this was pretty cheesy and delicious. I ordered a "red burrito" and the sauce was really good, and so was everything else inside ( I actually can't wait to get it again)! My partner got the Cabo burrito which was heavily loaded with shrimp and plenty of peppers he said everything tasted very fresh and had good quality ingredients. We ordered the special a tamal just to dabble in some other foods, it wasn't bad, not my fave but still good, we opted for the pork and it came with a sauce on it and I'd never had a tamal with sauce before. The kids ate tostadas just beans and cheese (yeah I know boring), however the rice and beans were good. There was a bit of a wait on the food as there were some larger parties and upon leaving one of the managers apologized to me for the wait. The prices were very reasonable, and overall it was a good experience and great food! I got some photos of the impressive extensive breakfast menu so I can't wait to go back! read more

First visit this morning - for a restaurant that specializes is pancakes, I found it very odd that Walmart branded syrup was on every table. The food itself was good, large servings and good taste. The service was rough. It took until after I was done with my omelette and toast to get my side of pancakes, after the waitress said she'll bring them right out when serving the food. This is a family owned restaurant and the owners are kind folks. They work hard to bring a restaurant to Moline that offers breakfast all day and a Mexican menu of homemade recipes. The menu items are so large that it is enough to take home at a good price. The Burrito w h the green salsa is my favorite if you like spicy, the bean dip with the nachos my family loves.
