    Egg tart
    Christine N.

We decided to check out this bakery while walking the mall. They had their $1 Portuguese egg tarts special. I highly recommend getting a few. The crust was flaky but chewy and didn't crumble. The egg custard filling was creamy and lightly sweetened. I only got one and regret not getting more. Service was easy as they handed you them in a container and then you paid at the counter. Great snack spot while at the mall.

Stopped by here to get some sweets! They had $1 tarts, that my friends really enjoyed. I got a vanilla roll slice, a cream puff and a cake bar thing. Everything was quick and easy. The staff was very polite

10/10 Mochi Matcha White Chocolate - WOW. I'm obsessed with these. I need more of these ASAP!! I'll be trying other flavors next time too. 8/10 Churro Twist - It's a yummy sweet treat but for me it was a little too bready. Cost - Mochi Matcha White Chocolate $3.00, Churro Twist $2.80.

Love the selection of baked goods here. Everything was yummy! Staff are busy and have a no nonsense attitude. Their drink menu has some interesting items. They also have baked goods plushies! Will return to try them!

I usually drink their milk teas and my aunt buys them from the Sunmerry at temple city, but I usually get baked goods from this one especially if there's a sale. They are located in the corner of the malls middle section, it's open wide so not much walls surrounding you and they display the baked goods so well that sometimes I feel like I have to get something. I had a loyalty punch card with a free drink and luckily enough we were at the mall. It was close to closing time so they already shut off the coffee machines but the staff said they can make any other drinks for me. I ordered the iced matcha latte with boba and half sweet. The staff was very friendly and was patient with me trying to decide what to order. Luckily there wasn't a line so I was able to ask questions and make a decision. I got my drink just waiting a few minutes and the boba was still warm. Mixing it up, I took a sip and I could really taste the matcha. It was actually pretty sweet despite ordering it half sweet and the boba was super chewy, soft, and sweet. I really enjoyed the drink and would definitely like to order it again or another next time.

I bought two cake slices & one of them had MOLD growing on the strawberry on top. I read other reviews where they had issues with mold in the items of this "bakery". I suppose the owners or managers just don't care if they continue to not monitor the safety of their food items. I tried calling to let them know but there was no answer. Extremely disappointed.

Located inside the mall, this bakery offers a wide selection of baked products and drinks. I tried several breads and my favorite is the green tea croissant. You can tell they are all freshly baked. The vietnamese coffee is pretty good too. Strong coffee taste and sweetness is just right. I just wished they had bigger packaging. I got four different breads and they were squished in a small paperbag.

What a pleasantly appeasing bakery this is. There's samples of marshmallow crackers by the left side of the entrance. They were the leftover of Valentine's Day goodies but they tasted good that we got a few of them. I wish they sell them in bulk instead of individually packaged though. There's a good selection of pastries, bread, cakes and other dessert items in here. Everything looked so yummy! I also ordered the jasmine green tea with salted cheese which I enjoyed. One thing that I didn't like is the fact that not all of the bread or pastries were wrapped. The staff had to put each one of them into bags when we pay for them. This resulted in a long wait for everyone in the line. Aside from the unnecessary long wait, it could be unsanitary too as people could accidentally touch them when picking up their own pastries. Aside from that, the pastries and bread that I got from here all tasted good.

Really nice bakery that has a huge selection of delicious and affordable pastries. They are all individually bagged for convenience and there are lots of sweet and savory options. They also have drinks, cakes, and Melo Melo jelly as well. Very friendly staff in a clean and nice environment.

Located on the second floor of the Shops at Santa Anita. I like to get the cakes here at Sunmerry. The cake slices are soft and tasty. They also have Melo Melo yogurt. I have tried several flavors, but I like the matcha one the most. They also have BOGO drinks this month, so it's time to bring a friend.

A quick stop at Sunmerry bakey. I love their fresh pastries. There is currently collaboration between Melo Melo and Sunmerry. I was really happy. It was like visiting both at one place. I got green tea matcha croissant, nutella croissant, ham and cheese croissant, tuna filled pastry, choco crunch puff and egg tarts. The croissants were flaky and buttery with the perfect sweetness. The tuna filled pastry was delicious as well as the ham and cheese croissant. The chocolate crunch puff and egg tarts were perfect too. I grabbed strawberry Melo Melo. They ran out of mango. The place was well lit and clean. They offered some free samples too.

I felt a little underwhelmed by this spot but in fairness I came later in the afternoon when there were slim pickings for desserts and pastries. While initially I'd rate this spot more a 3.5 I will bump them up because their cashier was super super nice and I did have one really tasty pastry from them. Located in the Santa Anita mall it's a little hard to get to. I wouldn't come to the mall for this spot alone but if you are around then check them out. Primarily there are bakery goods, cakes and such and a good menu for drinks. I probably would be able to rate this spot higher if I had tried one of their drinks but I already had a drink from another spot so I had to skip. Their drink menu looks fabulous so I'd come back to try one of their summer specials. For dessert I got a regular custard pastry and two mochi donuts - one churro flavor and one matcha. They were a good price, two for a special. However, the mochi were a bit "meh" for me. More chewy than I expected or would like. The Matcha flavor was too subtle for me but I did like the sugary churro flavor. Their classic custard bread pastry though was super good! That was a 5/5 while the mochi was like a 3/5. I wish I had tried the black sesame flavor bread my friends got. It looked good, for next time. The cashier working here was very nice. I appreciated his good attitude and helpful approach. He wrapped up my pastries so that the sticky part closed them and then carefully put them in my Togo bag. Very nice. Good service here for sure, and a nice experience overall.

Yum so good . Got a few items and I wasn't disappointed by any! The Portuguese tarts were my fave. Quick counter service . Friendly staff . Long line but it moves fast ! Clean and well organized . Everything is labeled and priced. No seats as in a mall.

Be careful. When checking out the cashier added tip to my order without permission. Super shady behavior.

Parking - Street parking only, no dedicated parking lot. Interior is pretty clean, cafe vibes, and some tables around but not too many. There's a huge table for big groups as well which is nice. There's also a self ordering kiosks which is always a nice sight to see when you visit tea shops. We tried the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea and the Oops Cheese Matcha Smash which seems to be one of their more popular drinks. The white peach is what you expect, refreshing and easy to sip. Very happy with the drink overall. As for the Oops Cheese Matcha Smash, aesthetically, the drink is great for photos. It looks more like a swirl drink than anything. I love the overall texture of the drink. It was also as refreshing as the white peach. The cheese mix with the matcha created a swirling feeling, each sip is filled with both flavoring, highly recommend. Excited to revisit again later on, love their menu options, and it seems like a decent spot to hangout with friends or a group despite the smaller space.

It's crisp black tea, salty & sweet brulee foam, and non-dairy milk with bouncy, perky boba pearls. I sipped happily. I arrived at Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) on Sunday (around 11:12AM). Parking is simple since there's a nearby neighborhood with street parking. I quickly found a spot. Customers can order at the self-service kiosk or the counter. I chose the self-service kiosk, and I regret it because I dislike how the self-service kiosk requires the customer's phone number to proceed. Staff communicates well. After ordering, Staff honestly & politely informed me that they'd need 20 additional minutes for their Boba since they recently opened. I was perfectly fine with that since they spoke upfront and honestly. After the 20 minutes passed, the drink took four minutes and 14 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Baked Brulee Milk Tea ($6.59) with Boba (additional 75 cents). It's delicious. This chill drink carries a crisp tea flavor. The foam is also zesty with a soft sweetness. It reminds me of a creamy milk tea. In addition, they made wonderful boba pearls. These boba pearls are sweet, bouncy, and playful. YUM! On ambiance, Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) is a wonderful spot to study/work. There's a long wooden table with 9 electrical plug spots, and there's four available electrical outlets. The location also includes customer internet with password; the details are confidently shown on the counter. The location also has a gender neutral restroom in the back, and there's plentiful hand sanitizer bottles in reach. The location felt clean and comfortable. Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) uses its space well. There's four tables and one long wooden table. There's also two small outside tables. During my stay, it felt very comfy as I listened to its smooth music. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City). They serve wonderful drinks and boba. If searching for a place to study/work, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5

Price aside, the drinks are good and on par with what you would find at typical boba shops. The food is where this place really shines. They have a large menu, ranging from rice to noodles to grilled meats served on a hot plate. I got the $21 NY steak today, which was a generous portion, served with sliced onions, corn, broccoli and choice of rice or spaghetti. It's not Morton's but, c'mon, $21 for a steak fix these days is a heck of a deal. Most of their entrees are in the $14-18 range. To top it off, the service is great - attentive and very friendly. Free parking lot in the back.

Unfortunately they have discontinued their weekday combo menu making it less worth the drive for us…read moreso we're not sure when we'll next be back. The good news is, their chicken steak is still just as yummy! We ordered: - Grilled chicken steak with black pepper sauce and spaghetti (4/5): Super crispy skin and juicy chicken. The black pepper sauce adds a fragrant touch - much better pairing than the mushroom sauce we got on a previous visit. The spaghetti portion is smaller than at most other HK cafes and isn't as good though. - Baked sole filet with rice and white sauce (3/5): Had high expectations for this dish but it didn't quite meet them. The rice used was plain white rice which isn't what I'm used to at other HK cafes and it left me a bit disappointed since it meant the dish was much more monotone in flavor and there were bites that were unflavorful. The fish itself was generously portioned and easy to eat with the warming cheese and white sauce combo. Wouldn't get again only because I know other spots that do it much better but decent overall. - Beef stew with noodle (3/5): Had expected this to be dry style with the beef stew over softened egg noodles but it came out as a soup. Beef pieces were tender and generous. Egg noodles were a bit overcooked. - Sticky Rice Dim Sum: They were massive and decent in flavor. They were a little mushy I think because it had been steaming a while (which was probably why they were quick to be served) but we didn't mind - Siumai: Generous amount of fish egg on top and was pleasantly meaty. We found parking in the front but also know there's a lot in the back. The restaurant itself is big and pretty empty and quiet. We were glad that service was friendly and quick this visit since the first time we were there one of the servers gave us attitude.
