Purchased my pair of ray bans from sunglass hut a couple of months ago. I was told I can come in for free adjustments and cleanings so I took some time out of my day to stop by the mall and get it done. I was told they don't touch glasses they don't carry anymore due to them not having them in stock if they break them and that's "policy". they had a sign at the register with our sunny services that said nothing about that and when I came back to take a quick picture of it the girl at the register said do you want me just clean them for you since your doing so much. I don't usually leave reviews understanding that people can have a bad day but this felt over the top rude. read more

Bought the 13 month coverage and when we tried to use it, they gave us a faulty pair of glasses. We took them back in and an employee named Vaughn tried to have us go to another store to do an exchange but in the end they all refused to help us. Said we look "sketchy" for coming in because their system shows we haven't used our warranty. If that were the case, then we would be able to use it again seeing as how it has not been 13 months yet, and it's been under 30 days since we used it and got the faulty new pair. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND now I'm out $215 for the glasses PLUS the $40 warranty exchange fee which we used to get these faulty ones. Should have just kept my originals instead of using the trade in because now they will not help us. They told us we have 3 days left to trade in but yet wouldn't trade them in and told us to come back in a few days. (Uhhh you mean when it's past the due date? Wtf) Definitely will be calling corporate but I'm pretty upset at this whole exchange and how they treated my husband when we came in. Very frustrating experience at Sunglass Hut in the Roseville mall. I purchased Ray-Ban Meta glasses at this store. During the purchase, the employee told me that with my receipt I could come back and buy a second pair of glasses with a 50% discount. I tried on several pairs but didn't want to rush the decision, so I asked the employee directly if I could come back another day to use the discount. He clearly told me that I could come back anytime with the receipt. Because of this information, I decided not to buy the second pair that day. When I came back to the store today, ready to purchase another pair, a different employee told me that the discount only works on the same day as the original purchase and refused to honor what their colleague had told me. This situation feels very misleading. Customers rely on the information given by store employees. If the employee had told me that the discount was only valid on the same day, I would have purchased the second pair immediately. Instead, I followed the instructions given to me by your staff and came back later, only to find out that the information was incorrect. This left me very disappointed and frustrated with the service. read more

If I could this place 0 stars I would. I waited 30 mins for the associate to tell me the internet was down to process my return after he called all other sunglass hut branches around me asking how to process it. The internet was not down he just did not know how to process it. A waste a time and very unprofessional. You would think for the area they would hire people with competent computer skills. read more

Trust the 1 Star reviews. They have a "verbal policy" supposedly. They make it impossible to exchange 1 week old glasses by saying "it's policy". The employees are rude and quick to call security if you ask for too much. read more

Worst experience I've ever had buying sunglasses. Got double charged at the register. Assured I was only charged once. Waited a few days and check my Che k account to find 2 charges for the same glasses. Tried contacting the store for 5 times over the last few weeks only to get a run around. Today, my mom and I went to the sunglass hut in galleria upstairs next to auntie Annie for an exchange. When we walked in the male gentlemen asked for us to leave our shopping bags on the counter or outside.. that was confusing when other people in the store had their big shopping bags from stores. They racially profiled us. How are you going to tell us to put our shopping bags away when others had their bags with them?? They saw two Indian women coming inside and assumed we were going to steal. They were looking at us (they looked at my outfit and then Gucci sunglasses) and just looking at us. This was terrible customer service and discrimination. We were the only colored people in the store and everyone else were white Americans. I've never felt racial profiling until day. We only came in to exchange our sunglasses worth over $700. But the service we got today broke my heart. I will never shop there again. Hamzah was able to identify quickly with what I wanted and erred on the side of caution regarding the repair of my Chanel's and stretching of my Swarovski Gucci's. He stuck to important selling points that were necessary to relay clearly, kept facts simple and left nothing to doubt regarding the specs of a fabulous pair of Miu Miu's. Horrible spot with poor return policy. I received these as a gift and needed to return but they would only return for a half refund. They just completely shut us out when we questioned this. Definitely recommend Warby Parker in Sac! It is worth the drive! I'd rather get cheap CVS glasses than deal with this place. read more

This sunglass hut is great! When I walked in two girls (maddee and Jamie) both offered to help me find a pair of sunglasses that would work with my face. I don't have the right facial features to really look good in most pairs of sunglasses and it can often be a challenge finding a comfortable pair that still looks trendy. Both girls did their best to try different styles and worked with me to try on about 45 different pairs. At no point did they make me feel rushed to commit to a pair, and they always showed me pairs based on how they might look on me, not on the price. I finally settled on a nice pair of Oakley's that were well within my price range, and they gave me loads of helpful tips and tricks on how to keep my glasses from getting scratched and how to properly clean them. I will surely be coming back to this location whenever I need a new pair, and I'll be telling all my friends to shop at this location! read more

I don't usually review places in the mall, especially stores, but this one deserved it. This is the Sunglass Hut downstairs (the older one). It was a great experience and I was not even in there to buy something. My boyfriends mom was in buying some sunglasses and so I was just poking around doing nothing. The manager of this store was very nice. He cleaned and tightened my sunglasses for no charge and looked up some prices on my old sunglasses to see if they were cheaper now then when I bought them. I'm not stupid and I know he was building rapport in hopes that I would one day come back to buy some stuff from him, but he didn't have to, and he was really nice and knowledgeable about everything. My boyfriend's mom got really nice service and attention from the other employee. So all in all, it was a good experience. read more

They told me the sale was buy one get one $60 off. Then the girl helping me picked out glasses that happened to be 25% off. Instead of honoring the sale of $60, they gave me 25% off the pair that they chose for me and said it was a better deal. When I looked at the receipt at home I realized the 25% off was only $24 not more than the $60 that made me purchase the second pair that the employee picked out for the sale to me. I called to express my confusion and she said "you don't get the sale on sale items. sorry, have a good day". I went into this Sunglass Hut location #5243 to exchange a pair of sunglasses. The lady that was there happened to be the store manager. I explained I wanted to return my sunglasses. She grabbed them by the lenses to look at them and said there's a small scratch, that they couldn't be returned only exchanged for half of their value, but she said "I'm not even sure how I would do that". I was talking to her as she abruptly walked away from me to assist a customer that walked in a few minutes after I did. I contacted sunglass hut corporate who put me in touch with the regional manager Mike. Mike calls me and says "what's up, you needed something" He's confrontational, very unprofessional and plain rude., just as rude as the manager. Tells me I need to call him before exchanging my sunglasses at any sunglass hut!! Talk about a power trip!! The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced anywhere! read more

I went to this store on Black Friday to take part in their 30% off deal on a new pair of Ray Bans. They didn't have anymore in stock so the cashier suggested I order online in their store as opposed to purchasing the demo pair. I filled out my information on their kiosk, the cashier confirmed my information, I paid, and went on my way. The cashier had said my sunglasses would arrive in 2 days. Two days came and went. I gave the store a call and it turned out they sent the wrong glasses to the wrong address but I had still paid for them and it turned out I had paid $10 more than I was supposed to. It has now been a full month, 3 trips to Roseville from Yuba City, and 8 phone calls later I have yet to receive a refund or my correct glasses (for clarification I didn't receive any sunglasses) and customer service has been useless and making it come across as if this is my error and not the company's. However throughout this process Nai, the store manager, has been very sympathetic and helpful, hence the 2 star review. read more

A year ago I purchased some beautiful Tiffany's shades here. Service at that time was on point and ultra professional. Today, I visited the store to take up their complimentary frame cleaning and shaping services. James really stood out as being professional in making sure my cherished frames fit just right and were sparkling. Next time I'm in the market for another set of sunglasses, I'll make it a point to visit this location again. I entered the store one day because I had a question about a missing piece on one of my sunglasses. I didn't even purchase these sunglasses at a Sunglasses Hut and they were years old, but Daniela was extremely helpful. She referred me to Repairs so I could contact them and see if they might be able to fix my glasses. Daniela didn't try to sell me anything - she simply gave me the info I needed which was great! And there was no hassle that I hadn't bought the glasses at a Sunglasses Hut. I will definitely go back if I need anything sunglasses related. read more

This place is criminal .Bought sunglasses with assurance that if they didn't work out that I could return them. I tried to return them, within 1 week and they refused to return them because of a "scratch" on the lens. I cannot even see a scratch and after arguing with the sales person for 5 minutes gave up. $320 glasses that I will never wear! Oh, and by the way, she only noticed the scratch after I said I didn't want to exchange them for something different. 90 day return policy a complete joke. DO NOT SHOP HERE! save your self the hassle and go buy your sunglasses at Nordstrom, they have the best return/exchange policy and the best customer service, bought my husband a pair of raybans and one of the screws completely came out the other side went loose. According to their standards that's not defective so I couldn't exchange for a new pair, now I have to wear $200 glasses that constantly have the bolts go loose. Poor Poor customer service. Nordstrom will gladly exchange your sunglasses with no questions asked! I will never buy another pair of sunglasses from sunglass hut ever again. read more
