After a visit I was prescribed 5 for reading not knowing that it would not work for computer. That pair was too strong. Then requested a new prescription, waisted my time to go to another appointment and got prescribed 4 power. Ordered that pair and it is not strong enough. Now I have to look for another optometrist, pay for the exam and pay for one more pair probably to get 4.5 which should have been prescribed right at the beginning when I told the optometrist that 5 will be too high but she insisted. When I first came into the office, I was honestly a mess dealing with double vision, blurry vision and just not being able to see properly at all. I had already seen other doctors who never really got to the bottom of it which was frustrating and a little discouraging. But Dr. Kim was completely different. She really takes her time. I never once felt rushed during any of my visits. She listened carefully to everything I said, asked thoughtful questions and ran multiple tests to really understand what was going on, not just patch things up. On top of that, she's just a genuinely kind and personable doctor which makes the whole experience so much easier and more comfortable. After multiple visits now, I can honestly say she's one of my favorite doctors I've ever had. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone especially if you're struggling with getting the right prescription for contacts or glasses or if you're dealing with vision issues that aren't straightforward and need someone who will really dig in and figure it out.
