After reading others' Yelp reviews for the Glendale Galleria's Sunglass Hut, I was reluctant to shop there. However, I was in the Galleria on the morning of 7 June 2018 and needed to replace my sunglasses. While working with customers, the salesperson greeted me as I entered the store. When she had finished serving the others, she came over to help me. I knew what I wanted (either RayBan or Maui Jim) and the style I preferred. She provided me with a number of appropriate selections and knew her merchandise, was professional, and answered completely the few questions I had. When I had made my selection, she handled the payment expeditiously, and I was soon on my way, a very happy customer. My experience exceeded my expectations, and based on that, I recommend the shop with no reservation. read more

I came here to do a return, and I was greeted by Zoey, who was super nice...and took care of my return, and then helped me order a new pair of oakley's. She made sure that my order was placed, and followed up with me once it was ready for the in-store pick up. I stopped by this Sunglass Hut today to refill my lens cleaner bottle. They do free refill here if you brought their len cleaners kit. This Sunglass Hut is on the second floor inside the Glendale mall. When I walked in a worker greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told him I wanted to refill my len cleaning bottle and he told me it would take like 5 minutes. So I was looking at their Oakley sunglasses collection which they didn't have much. The guy who I gave my bottle to was busy helping another customer so the lady working the cashier refill my bottle for me. She filled it almost all the way up and also cleaned any over spill. I was very happy with the customer service here and will come back again if I'm in the area. read more

I heard two sales associates yesterday making rude comments about another customer who simply misspoke a term. And really you couldn't at least wait for customers to leave before making fun of them? I just left as soon as I heard and noticed them "subtly" smirking. It was so unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. This is a city with so much diversity. Some nationalities (or household even) may define some things differently. No need to make fun of them for it not being the "proper" term. read more

After several trips to other sunglass stores I came into Sunglass Hut in Glendale. My expectations were not super high as I have been have a hard time finding sunglasses to fit my small face. I was here today , terrible customer service, the guy named Sunny is working as slow as he could, and didn't gave the computer to the girl to do the purchase, after all that the girl told us to give a 50% discount for the second item we buy , but she gave as 5% when she noticed that we started to count she asked Sunny to return the item and the guy was stearing into the computer and didn't want to do the return. BEAWARE.....This place is so unprofessional that They keep their expensive glasses in raggedy ass old plastic bags all stacked up on top of each other. I bought a pair of sun glasses and realized it has small schratchs on it the next day. When I wanted to exchange they didn't take the blame for it. I told the girl I bet if she get another pain it will have schratchs as well because of the way you handle them. She said your wrong and she grabbed a new one to show me, guess what it did have schratch on it. I bought a pair of Rayban sunglasses. Apparently, they had sold me ones with scratched lenses. I found that out when I tried to return them, and they would not let me return them because they said it was too scratched up. Mind you, I had NEVER worn them, and decided to return them a few days after purchasing them. I had no idea that they were scratched. Horrible experience overall. This is the worst Sunglass Hut. I've gone here 3 times and always the worst service. Recap: - You walk in. - They look at you then go back to whatever they're doing (yes, no acknowledgement or greeting). - You walk closer to them and look right at them. - They look at you and again they go back to whatever they are doing. - You stand right in front of them. - They still don't ask you if you need help. - WTF. You literally have to ask for help here. The guy always looks the most clueless. Even when I did get helped they helped me with an annoyed look in their faces. Forget this place! I buy enough sunglasses from Sunglass Hut that a little customer service and courtesy would be nice. But maybe it's time to check out the Ray-Ban store in the Americana or even Solstice. read more

I walked in to the Glendale galleria location today between 5-6 pm. ready to purchase a particular pair of sunglasses. The 2 girls in there never acknowledged me. Not a hi, nor offered to help. I tried on the glasses that I liked. I took a selfie in them then a picture of the tag because I figured that after 5 minutes of being ignored, I wasn't going to give my business to someone that doesn't value customer service. Went in on a monday when you can still hear the birds chirping, as soon as they opened rushed to buy a pair of sunglasses without much thought. Anoush, the employee assisted me with the transaction and i was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I probably shouldve of stayed longer because the shades i purchased did not fit me at all. I'll tell you a story. So I buy a 300$ pair of Prada shades. I wanna enjoy and have me a nice pair A few months of ownership and the lenses start to have a bubbling effect. So I send them to the mothership company luxxotica. I get a response later apologizing that it was a manufacture defect and that they'd cover me up to original retail price. Trouble starts when I start giving them my potential options. They had none. I finally ask if they could just send me what they had available and I'd pick from their lot. No can do bro My 90 day time limit to find a new pair expired and they were kind enough to extend it. When into store to have them help. Good luck to me. Finally found a pair. Then got sent wrong size. Had to mail again. Call again I went into store and the manager, which seems to change weekly said he couldn't trade them in for me since I had dealt with luxxotica services direct, even though he had the size I needed in stock. read more

I bought a pair of Ray-Ban glasses for my son. In less than a month 2 of the screws fell off. I took it to the store with a receipt. The store manager told me that according to the warranty policy I should pay half of the price for the repair. I wanted to return it, but she made a face and told me that they didn't sell me the glasses with missing screws, so I couldn't return it either. Overall, terrible experience. Tried to return a pair of sunglasses I bought with my debit card. Apparently Sunglass Hut does not have the ability to credit a refund back to your debit card, they can only give you cash back. Turns out they didn't have enough cash in the drawer, so even though I have a receipt and the card I used to make the purchase, my only refund option is to wait 5-10 business days for them to send me a check in the mail. What a ridiculous policy, nice "customer service". This is 2015, get with it Sunglass Hut. read more

This store is purfect for first time quality sunglass shoppers. They have everything from Oakley to Parasol. Price ranges are crazy here 50- 400. They have something for everyone, simple, sporty classic american, chic, high fasion. If your a first time i would stop by here and dont forget to ask for help the saales reps are so atentive her, and soo helpful. read more

Bought a pair of sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut at the South Coast Plaza in OC. Tried to return the sunglasses two days later to this Sunglass Hut, as I decided I really didn't need them. When I tried to make the return I was told their systems are down and that they can't accept returns until after the sale ends Monday(?). I walked away thinking that was odd, and called the store I originally bought them from, to ask if they were having the same problem - the answer was no, that they were processing returns. I went back in to the Sunglass Hut at the Galleria and the manager gave me what I didn't think was an absolutely bogus excuse at the time, and said that on Monday they'd be working out the issue. On Tuesday night, I started to make my way to the mall thinking I'd really like to return these $100+ sunglasses, and thought to call first to make sure I could return them there - manager again tells me NO their systems are down and they are still unable to process returns. I'm honestly fuming at the thought, and realizing this company has absolutely no regard for their customers if after several days they still haven't made any headway in fixing whatever issue is going on. So disappointed. This experience has absolutely ruined my desire to ever shop here, or at any other Sunglass Hut again. Can't wait to hopefully, finally, return these sunglasses and never step foot in one of there stores again! read more

The sales person (lady) saw me with a pair of Rayban's in my hand to pay but doesn't even acknowledge me or say I'll be with you in a bit.
