The sales guy was training a new person and he was just not very good. After I told him what I wanted he still tried to push Mauji Jim and Ray Bans on me and even tried to talk me into some large fashion sunglasses. His sales tactics were horrible and with the poor selection and his bad used car skills, I had to get out of there. Would have a hard time recommending this place and I cannot see this place surviving long.

I didn't wanna spend big bucks so I told myself if I'm still thinking about them as a shop around, I'd go back. My friend had the same feeling about a pair of Ray bans she found. After about 10 mins of browsing, we all ended up leaving the store, walked around for not even 2 minutes, and then my friend and I walked back in together. The sales rep was like "let's gooo!" seeing us walk back in. He was great. He helped us do the math for the sale going on -- buy one get one 50% off. He also gave us a 10% off discount too. What a guy. He also found both of our sunglasses brand new, unopened still in the box, instead of just packaging the display version to us. Great experience all around!

Everybody at Pearle Vision in Mansfield was simply wonderful and I can not recommend them highly enough. Even without a vision plan, my thorough examination and new glasses ran me just over $300, which is less than I expected. 10/10 recommend 10/10 will return

At the end of the exam, the doctor told me that she had "increased my prescription slightly." I used the prescription provided by the office to order new glasses online, but when they arrived, I could barely see through them. I compared the new prescription to my previous one and discovered that, despite being told it was increased, the new prescription was actually weaker! I called the office hoping to get some clarification or have the doctor review it. Instead, the receptionist was dismissive and argumentative. I was told the prescription was based on my responses during the exam and essentially that there was nothing wrong with it. She did not even offer to speak with the doctor. It had only been a little over a week since the appointment. At one point, I was even told that glasses don't necessarily need to be "crisp and clear" and that being slightly off is okay for some people. Seriously? I understand that prescriptions are based on patient responses during an exam, and I wasn't asking the office to reimburse me for glasses purchased elsewhere. I simply wanted someone to take seriously the fact that I was told my prescription had been increased when the written prescription actually decreased--and that I could not see properly with it. The lack of concern and customer service was extremely disappointing. I don't think wanting to see clearly and crisply through a new prescription is an unreasonable expectation.

The online store was actually very fair, accepted returns, but it wasn't a good option for me. Fast forward, the optometrist checked my prescription, and rechecked when I was in doubt without charge. The optician helped me find a stylish suitable frame, and after about a week, the precision lenses were very good, and clear at multiple distances. Sure, online is cheaper, but due to the variables, I have come to the conclusion it's not worth it unless you know the frame fit and have a simple correction.
