The online store was actually very fair, accepted returns, but it wasn't a good option for me. Fast forward, the optometrist checked my prescription, and rechecked when I was in doubt without charge. The optician helped me find a stylish suitable frame, and after about a week, the precision lenses were very good, and clear at multiple distances. Sure, online is cheaper, but due to the variables, I have come to the conclusion it's not worth it unless you know the frame fit and have a simple correction. Pay a bit more (still less than many private practices) and visit the brick-and-mortar store.

Gladly my eyes haven't changed so I was happy about that. I complimented Dr Hayden on the gal that does the preliminary eye stuff super nice, and the photos of my inner eyeball were way cool and looked like Mars Dr Hayden himself was very nice and explained what he was seeing. He had a Mensa magazine on the table in the waiting room of which he belongs. I am light years in IQ points below that lol but appreciate that a down to earth bona fide genius is my eye Docter. I let the team…read moreknow I had 10 days worth of the "daily" contacts that they reccomend I wear, and was assured I would have them in a timely fashion. I've received nothing to date (7 days later) and when I called was told they'll ship Tuesday, which is when I'll be out of them. I was not provided any samples at the contact fitting, which is built into the price, nor did anyone follow up on my order so that I could order elsewhere before I run out. I will never go here again as the customer service team is clearly not patient centered and recommends patients re-use daily contacts to make up for their short comings. They also billed me over $100 for the visit for their vison testing, isn't it covered by insurance? Again, PLEASE spare yourself the time, the MD at For-Eyes in Norwood never let me down, and I will drive out of my way to go back there.

I had done my research online on their website and knew what I wanted. She pointed me in the right direction for my astigmatism and wasn't trying to upsell me. It was only when she showed me the price of the exact pair I was willing to purchase, I mentioned the 50%-50% sale they had. She called for a 'saleswoman' and she tried to throw every excuse in the book at me as to why they couldn't do it and I needed to do this and that and pay more. Finally, I just said, "I just came in to buy a pair of glasses and not be treated like a sucker", because that's what the saleswoman appeared to be doing. So instead of getting A sale, they got NO sale. I got up and walked out. She was rude then too. Pity, because the optometrist was fantastic, she was on my side. I apologize to her for the abrupt departure. I will NOT be going back to that store.

This time I went to a different location and the office staff out front were a little nicer and a little less aggressive. I did have an issue with the billing because I have two insurance companies now and the officethat they could only bill one and I had to bill the other. I was told I had to pay the difference before I went in to see doctor. After the visit I sent the required information to the other insurance company. The insurance company sent the payment to the doctor's company even though I had already paid them during my visit. I called the doctor's and they reimbursed me - but if they had not insisted I pay upfront it would have been easier for all. I did not intend to have my previous review reflect on the doctor and wish this site allowed you to modify reviews.

Not really anyone's fault, but, it didn't quite lend itself to a five star experience. Dr. Palumbo was great. She wasn't scary AT ALL. She answered all my stupid questions (and my smart ones too), and she got me in and out pretty damn fast. She has that new machine that takes pictures of your eyeballs, so they don't have to dilate your eyes and ruin your day. I highly recommend it! If you see this place on your insurance website and you need an eye doctor, give them a call. They'll take damn good care of you, and probably show you your optic nerve.

The quiet confidence and unwavering courage that Bob exudes is undeniable. I could tell from the limited exposure I had of him at business networking meetings that he was offering a better brand of "Know thyself," and I so desperately needed a hefty dose of that intangible quality in my life at the time. Bob offers all kinds of assistance. In fact, whatever tool you need to help you conquer that mountain in your life that has become an insurmountable obstacle, he will equip you to blow it up with dynamite or make it into something you can live with by the mere power of his words. All he said to me was, "Yes, you can!" And my life changed forever. I was struggling with a specific force of controlling person in my life that had far more power over me because I had relinquished it unknowingly. Bob listened with heart of a lion and tenderness of a shepherd then made the most liberating remarks that allowed me to break the emotional relational dam of my own making.
