The space…read moreis small but don't let that fool you; it's bright, modern, and well laid out, with a solid mix of accessible options alongside some designer names like Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Bvlgari, Prada, and more, all packed into a boutique that feels a lot bigger than it actually is. My partner said the exam was thorough and her new prescription is spot on, so I'll leave it at that. What I can speak to is the frame selection experience, and for that, Calin was genuinely great to work with. He paid attention, noticed which frame colors worked with my partner's skin tone, commented on how different shapes sat with her face, and made the whole process feel personal rather than transactional. She ended up walking out with two pairs, which honestly says it all. It's a family-run business, and that comes through in how they treat you. No pressure, just good people who clearly know their product. If you need glasses in Rhode Island, this is the place.

It's a small comfortable setting on the first floor of # 91. The shop certainly has style and pizzazz! Check out the wallpaper too! (luv it!) The display cases still house the most intriguing styles; classic, contemporary & cosmic. (my opinion solely!) See for yourselves ! I own six very unique frames including a pair of exquisite sunglasses. Yes, my smile brightens and my eyes light up, as frame style compliments are frequently given to me wherever I go. What's not to love???

I've patronized their business spanning decades. I first saw them on Thayer Street on the East Side of Providence abutting Brown University. I followed them to Wickenden Street in Foxpoint and now to their newest location at 91 Hope Street. Aside from their outstanding highly personalized client services, I've remained with Gregory's Optical because of their vast selection of excellent quality upscale global brands with outstanding competitive pricing. In these times of COVID, returning to a somewhat normal routine seems impossible at times. Self-care is important though and my yearly eye appointment was past due... my supply of contact lenses running low. I made my appointment, donned my mask, and drove to the serene and very green town of Rehoboth. Unsure what to expect, I felt very comfortable with the precautions in place to keep both patients and providers safe. For a service where you essentially have to touch your eyes (for you contact wearers), feeling comfortable with the lowered risk in this sort of environment was huge. Cristina is a provider I feel that I can whole-heartedly trust with my eye care, hence why I switched to this location. She listens to your concerns, is very personable, and I leave my appointments knowing I have received individualized top-notch care. Customer service was fabulous. Staff took the time to review my insurance benefits and informed me of a discount I didn't know I had on contact lenses. A go-to location for vision care.

The optician helped me find a stylish suitable frame, and after about a week, the precision lenses were very good, and clear at multiple distances. Sure, online is cheaper, but due to the variables, I have come to the conclusion it's not worth it unless you know the frame fit and have a simple correction.
