She really knows her profession from what contact lenses are available in what increments to educating clients on eye care. Although Dr. Waldorf is no longer offering appointments the business continues to grow and I am delighted to see the office will be undergoing a bit of remodeling shortly. This will allow a greater offering of eye wear and a nicer waiting area. Look forward to seeing the new space at our next visit.

When I was 5 minutes late this morning, I apologized and the receptionist responded, "It's saturday morning, don't worry about it!" When she noticed that I hadn't been able to come in to pick up my contacts- an extra pair I had asked for to hold me over til my appointment- she said, "You should have called! Dr. Haworth is kind, caring and his team is equally great. While I was waiting to be seen I overheard their staff making phone calls to confirm appointments for upcoming days and they went the extra mile to confirm insurance coverage on their patients behalf so that there were no surprises. They also send text messages reminding people of their appointments, which for an anti-phone person like me is wonderful. Their office is clean, spacious, and welcoming. I am thrilled with my experience there and would highly recommend to anyone who is in the market for a new eye doc. If I could change anything it's that it did take about 2 months to be seen as a new patient, but now that I've been there I can't imagine going anywhere else.

This is for the Woonsocket office!! I was severely disappointed with my experience. I have vision…read moreinsurance thru my job. I don't live in Woonsocket but wanted to support a smaller business vs a large chain. Called ahead & spoke to front desk agent 1, she confirmed they take my eye insurance which is a common one. Walk in day of exam, get my exam done, I was then told by front desk agent 2 (I believe it was a blonde woman) I don't have eye insurance and only my exam is free but the glasses/lens aren't covered by any insurance. I know for a fact I have coverage and tell her I called to confirm I did and was told so by front desk agent 1 and it was taken by this eye office. I was disregarded by front desk agent 2 and told to call HR at my job about it. I wasn't going to stay and debate as she was unfriendly. Contacted my HR office and they confirmed I had said eye provider. I call the eye office back and reached front desk agent 1 who confirmed (again!) I had said eye insurance which I said I know I did all along. Because of this incompetent experience from front desk agent 2 I just had them send my eye prescription over to an outside big chain eye office instead because this office wasted my time calling around and driving to another town. I go to the big chain eye office, pick out my glasses no problem. Get the glasses and the prescriptions felt so off, he tells me wear them for a few weeks to get used to them and if it still feels off call the small eye chain (Atlantic family) and ask for a re-exam. I wear them for Over a month hoping to get used to them. They don't feel right. I feel cross eyed wearing them, can't gauge distance when I walk and the floor feels elevated. I go back to Atlantic family, they test my glasses and said my prescriptions match what was on file from exam at their office. I ask if maybe the exam needs to be redone ? She says if I wanted to "entertain" that idea I could get re-examed. I didn't like the wording and treatment assuming I was being a difficult customer (why would I lie about the prescriptions being off?) all I wanted was to see correctly while driving and living life lol. Disappointed again at this place. I just wait until 2025 comes around instead to get exam at a different big chain instead of Atlantic family. I Won't come back. My eye exam was a bit weird too. She barely had me view the board to call off what I saw. Just 2 lines of it. The exam would be more in depth as I had sat in with my child's exam and it seemed more thorough. Fast forward a few months later it's now 2025: I get a new eye exam from a big eye chain and they tell me old prescription from only a few months ago at Atlantic family was completely off. I had astigmatism in BOTH eyes not just ONE and the vision in my left eye was completely different than what Atlantic family prescribed. Don't let Atlantic family eye gaslight you into believing the exam they do is correct.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Koch Eye Associates…read more I purchased and paid for prescription glasses through Koch Eye. Because of a very busy work and travel schedule, I was delayed in picking them up. When I finally went to the office to get my glasses, I was shocked to be told that they had already been sent back to the lab -- and that I would not receive a refund. I never cancelled my order or indicated that I did not want the glasses. I simply had not yet picked them up. I also do not recall being provided with any written policy stating that my fully paid-for glasses would be returned after a certain period of time and that I would then lose both the glasses and the money I paid for them. I asked for someone to contact me about this and, as of writing this review, no one has called me. I would completely understand a policy stating that custom prescription glasses cannot be returned for a refund after a customer receives them. What I do not understand is how a customer can pay for glasses, the business can send those glasses back before the customer picks them up, and the customer is then left with neither the glasses nor a refund. I am hoping someone from Koch Eye will contact me and resolve this. At a minimum, I would like the glasses I paid for to be provided to me or my payment refunded.

I came to TLC Providence to learn my options for vision corrective surgery. From the first call…read moreasking to setup the consultation appointment, to my final post-op visit, the experience was nothing short of amazing! The staff are all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions and concerns throughout the entire process. I knew exactly what to expect going in and coming out of surgery thanks to them, and the surgery itself only took about 10 minutes. I've had fillings that were way worse! 0 pain or discomfort. I'd describe the surgery itself like a slightly more complex eye exam. I opted to go with lasik over PRK, after talking with Dr. Rose (who is absolutely outstanding) and I was seeing clearly just a few hours later! Never once did I feel pressured or under informed. I couldn't recommend these folks enough! I struggled with vision since the 5th grade, and for the first time in my life I can just wake up and see!!! To me that service is priceless and the fact they deliver it with such ease and professionalism is just awesome! Thanks so much TLC, what you do changes lives, I know it's changed mine!!
