I agree with other reviewers that the wait time was rough, and it would be helpful to know the approximate wait time when checking in. Once we were called back, however, the care was very good. We were seen by a PA who was clear and confident in diagnosing my son's injury, which required stitches behind his ear. She mentioned that she hadn't eaten all day because she had been so busy, which really highlighted just how much demand they were dealing with. She did a great job with the stitches and took the time needed to make sure we fully understood the discharge instructions. I felt that the quality of care was very good, and ultimately, that's what matters most. I'm giving 4 stars because the care itself was excellent, but the facility clearly needs more physicians and staff to better meet the demand and reduce the lengthy wait times.

The manager there, Allan has been rude and has said several times that he had faxed paperwork to my doctor and that she was not filling it out or faxing it back. Long story short is that my doctor has documented the many times that they've faxed him and he just calls them a liar. Final straw was him hanging up on me as soon as I said my name and not answering when I called right back. Do yourself a favor and find another provider, even if it's in MA or CT.

There are a number of pediatricians as well as a couple of nurse practitioners as well. We have been a handful of times already for emergency appointments as my daughters been sick with a cold, flu, cough and they have been extremely accommodating with scheduling these. One of the great things is that they are open late, until about 7 I believe, as well as Saturday's. My daughters been seen by one of the nurse practitioners, as well as two of the doctors. Everyone has been extremely pleasant. They have a fairly decent sized waiting room (although not sure if they have a specific area for sick versus healthy patients) but it has a separate area for teens. The patient rooms are on the smaller side and they do ask that babies get stripped down to a diaper for weight/examination. Overall, good experience so far, although I'm not sure who our 'default' pediatrician is within this practice, I will have to ask next time I am there. I have also called after hours and one of the doctors from the practice who was on call, called back in a timely manner and was extremely pleasant and understanding of the situation and reason I had called. In the past at another practice, I felt as though on call pediatricians sounded annoyed calling back, and not even during any crazy hours. So far so good!

We were paired up with Dr. Starakiewicz (aka Dr. Star) and she is as sweet as pie but knowledgeable and trustworthy as well. She always makes sure to really listen to concerns and answer them with thoughtful answers. She genuinely cares about the children in her practice and you can't help but feel like your child is in great hands. Additionally, we had met with Dr. Jha around endocrinology concerns and I was so impressed with her fantastic way with my daughter in making her feel comfortable and at ease with less than comfortable topics and her knowledge in the area. I'm pretty sure she may have been even more knowledgeable than my own endocrinologist. All in all, the staff here and the doctors are amazing and I can't recommend them enough.

I have never been a fan of the corporate "Concentra care" but having frequented this location since…read moreI was a little kid, old habits tend to die hard. Over the years, this urgent care location has fallen under various owners and is currently owned by Concentra. The building itself is nice and located right off of the main road (and alongside Rite Aid pharmacy). As for the inside, it is pretty bare bones, all the signs have been changed to the Concentra blue and orange colors but everything else has remained the same. This location is not the best to visit if you need to see a doctor or nurse in a timely fashion, as each time I have visited the wait for anything other than blood work has been at least an hour. There is usually only one medical assistant on duty at the front desk and I'm sure this attributes to the wait time. As far as Urgent Cares go, I'd say this location is pretty standard. The doctors are knowledgeable and as helpful as they can be, but they do seem a bit overworked and understaffed. The shining lights of this Concentra are the Primary care doctor, Diane Dubois-Hall and her medical assistant Ann. I feel truly blessed to have met Dr. Hall as she is a rare gem. I love her down to earth approach to things and she never makes you feel bad about anything, if there is a problem she is ready with different ways to handle the situation. She will always give her honest opinion and genuinely cares about her patients, this is not just a job to her but clearly something she was born to do. The medical assistant Ann manages things at the front desk like a pro and if I call for anything she always goes above and beyond to help. I visit once a month on my lunch break to get a B-12 shot; she opens the office during lunch hours for me when she notices my car pull into the parking lot! I see this personalized care as going above and beyond, a true rarity with medical offices these days. Dr. Hall and Ann will be leaving for their own practice independent of Concentra in about two months. I certainly cannot blame them for wanting to leave the corporate medicine bubble, and fully intend on following them to their new practice. Concentra itself gets two stars; but Dr. Hall and her new practice will certainly be receiving 5 stars from me, upon it's opening.
