I love Patriot Place. I come a couple times of year, mainly to go the Trader Joes. It is much bigger than the one in RI and because its Massachusetts, they sell alcohol, beer and wine. Plenty of parking. There are many shops, restaurants, and activities to do-Ulta, Six Strings, Citizens Crust, Bath and Body Works, Crumbl, bowling and top golf to name a few. Bass Pro is popular up here as well as the cranberry bog and walking trail. Parking is free on non event days. read more

Patriot place is a great shopping, sports, and hotel venue. Throughout the years the Kraft family has taken efforts to maintain the property and coordinate with the town to curate a positive experience. The number and brands of merchants may change with time; however, there is a high level of selection and quality. The stadium and Patriot store provide an excellent sports experience, Traffic is well managed during events. The lots are well maintained and frequently policed by staff. The mall is partially covered providing a cool outdoor place to stroll and shop. Bass Pro shops has a number of events and provides a curated back bog area with a walking/ hiking trail. The Cinemas are located off the main parking lot and have plenty of parking. There are numerous handicapped parking spaces in front close to the entrance. There is also a commuter rail station off the parking lot for rail access to the mall. Chargers for electric vehicles are also present for EV vehicles. Patriot Place is one of the best New England malls and a great site for an event experience. We will definitely return. read more

The mall itself, it's alright. Like it that it's outdoor so we have fresh air. Shop selection is fine but not something I'll visit often. Restaurants come and go, lots of gimmicky stuff so be sure to check reviews. Music in the PA can get really loud sometimes, which is annoying. Given it's next to the Pats stadium, traffic/parking can get crazy on game days, or any given weekend. Some entrances send drivers to a longer loop than others, so it pays to check out the area. Signage issues on the Trader Joe's side -- points you to Route 1 (both directions) except that the road only leads to South, with no viable U-turn to make. So unsuspecting drivers would be sent the wrong direction, driving extra 20 minutes and additional mileage to loop back to 95 via 495. Hope you got your GPS on ya. They turn part of the lot into an outdoor ice skate rink every winter, and admission is quite affordable. Never went but It's actually kind of cute looking from outside. read more

My family and I went on a 14 state 10 day trip a few weeks ago. We were in Massachusetts for a lot of it going to different cities and places. I love the NFL a football so I have to see all the stadiums were there. We went to patriot Place which is a really awesome place right next to the football stadium and they have a Lotta cool restaurants a lot of mural a lot of drinks a lot of bars is a lot of fun clean very clean on the outside and just really nice atmosphere for sure read more

Plenty of shopping, restaurants, parking and all things New England Patriots related. On game day it is a absolute ZOO and there is no way getting around this. Uber and Lyft have a specified location that they are designated to drop you off at so be sure you are aware of this in advance. There is also a nice hotel right on the grounds as well. We went for the Home Opener and returned the following Monday to enjoy what Patriots Place had to offer. Train drops you off right there and the tunnel to and from is right there a short distance from, what we PATS fans call, the Promise Land *Gillette Stadium. Respectfully Reviewed read more

Be aware of random ATVs (security or grounds staff?) that just plow through pedestrian walkways..I've witnessed near collisions in the northern shopping area which is enclosed. Also at First Night they went right by young families who were visibly shocked that this happened. If safety is that important just put up cameras or a station. Having these ATVs is causing danger read more

If I could describe Patriot Place with one word....Crowded.... We were happy to walk around in the shopping area where the Patriots home stadium is. There are a ton of shops for food and gifts. Most likely the people who were there the day we were were also killing time before the concert. We ended up shopping at the Patriots store for my hubby's team clothing. A lot of the shops and restaurant closed after the concert. There were also a ton of people hanging out on the large set of stairs that overlooked Patriot Stadium enjoying the music and looking at the huge plasma screens of the performances. This would be a nice place to hang out if you can manage to find parking when there is no concert or game. The lines for restaurants (even fast food ones) seemed too ridiculous to wait for. Yay in the summer, nay in the winter or when there's a home game. I have little people so we tend to frequent patriot place a lot during the summer. They have tons of free/ inexpensive things for kids to do. Summer vacation can kill you if you don't wear out the little rug rats. Every Wednesday at kidville they have $5 play space. Tuesdays at the cinema is story time. They offer kids a story, complimentary pizza and a short movie. Patriot place has an events website and they list things to do every day. This past summer they had bounce houses on Tuesdays. Wee ones can come here free of charge (with signed waiver) and jump to their little hearts content. Go during training camp and there's tons to do. Free face painting, popcorn, sandcastles, etc. Since it's outdoors it sucks if its cold out. Born and raised in New England but despise the cold. It pains me. 5wits is a cool place for families to go and solve mysteries. Bass pro shop has a great Santa/winter wonderland where the offer free pics with St. Nick. They do the great pumpkin theme in the fall. Year round they offer things for kids to do. You can buy lingerie, wear the kids out, gets some grub (froyo place is not to be missed) and do food shopping. Overall it really is a great place. There's entertainment for all ages and a variety of places to eat. The trader joes sells wine and beer, always a great reason to do food shopping here. read more

I'm not a big shopper, but I have to admit this place is coming along nicely. A luxury bowling alley is in the works (Splitsville - specializing in divorced cougars, perhaps?!). I don't see myself moving to Foxboro any time soon but I feel like one could live here with the hospital, restaurants, shops, stadium, etc. If you don't live within walking distance I wouldn't go near this place on game day unless you have a ticket. Route 1 can be a nightmare. Also, it's difficult to get a parking spot on a Saturday (or at least it was the last time I was here and the stadium was hosting a marching band competition). On Monday, however, it's easy as pie. If crowds aren't your thing mid-week is the way to go. Bar Louie has happy hours specials (4-7) and CBS Scene has half-price pizzas on Wednesdays. read more

This weekend while visiting family in the Greater Boston Area we decided to travel over to Patriots Place to check out their shops as well as pay another visit to Gillette Stadium. I have been to Gillette Stadium before, but this was my first time walking through the shops here. Overall, I found this plaza to be unique and fun. The stores here are great and I loved popping into the sports shops. As a Patriots fan, obviously I loved being in this environment, but I was amazed at the different types of shops they had. Some of our favorites included Charming Charlie, Cupcake Charlies, The Reebok Store, as well as the Godiva Store. The only store we didn't really like was their Old Navy. The store was dirty and the bathrooms were worse. In the end we spent the whole afternoon shopping and eating. It was a blast to be here and we can't wait to go back! read more

Being a true rhode islander I dislike having to drive anywhere outside of it. I do forget that there's a great shopping center in patriots place. It's a lot of free parking and easy to navigate around. There a movie theater , a bowling alley , some great restaurants , and interesting shops. Some of my Go Tos are charming Charlie's , cupcake Charlie's, and CNBC scene. They also hold events there such as ice skating. This Is a great shopping center and I'll definitely be back. read more

No, I've never been here for a Pats game but I could definitely imagine the parking and traffic would be horrendous during those times. DUH! there's thousands of people there. I come here on days when it's slow and there's nothing to do at home. It's nice to walk around, do some shopping, have dinner or even see a movie. No, I wouldn't come here for shopping or to see a movie normally.. there are closer and much better places. But, it's nice for a change of pace and scenery. A great shopping center with plenty of restaurants and bars. Went during the Patriots offseason, but I can only imagine how they busy every place gets during the season. We visited howl at the moon to grab a quick drink. Have visited their Hollywood and Chicago locations, and have fallen in love with their concept of a piano bar, live band. Also stopped by Bar Louie to grab a drink before heading back to Boston. There's plenty of parking and also have a hotel located within the shopping center. Will definitely be back to have a drink and bite before a game. read more

My wife and I had seen them in Carolina, Jacksonville, and Atlanta but wanted to see Brady & Belichick at home so we made our pilgrimage to Mecca of Gillette & Patriot place. The mall area was great. Over my holiday break my mom wanted to spend the day together. This rarely happens, since the fact that I have not reproduced makes me the least favorite of her 5 children. So, I took her up on the offer thinking she'd want to come spend the day in the city. Nope, she wanted to go to Foxboro and check out Patriot's Place. That meant that I had to drive 30 minutes to her house and then she drove us another 30 minutes to Foxboro, in her minivan, at 50 mph. She is a control freak and wouldn't accept my offer to drive. The stores were okay but not very unique. I must admit, it was a little awkward when my mom said "Vickie's is having a big sale. Let's go get bras." What was even more awkward was seeing my 60+ year old mom whip out a Victoria's Secret credit card. I literally said "Damn, dad's a lucky guy". We tried to eat at some bar & grill there (I forget the name) but it was a 45 minute wait for food. That was not the wait to be seated. That was the wait AFTER you placed your order. We didn't stay, since we were going to a movie and were pressed for time. We ended up at Qdoba, which mom had never heard of, but she liked it. We went to the Movie Theatre there too and we sat in the Luxe seating, at my mom's request. I have sat in Luxe seating once before at another theatre and I could take it or leave it, but she was happy. She ordered coffee and popcorn. What a combination?! I got a brownie sundae because for some reason when I'm with my mom she always talks me into getting something really fattening so she can share it with me. Overall, it was a fun day and I imagine this place would be more enjoyable on a warmer day, since you pretty much have to walk outside from store to store. I think I would have been more impressed if I didn't live in the city and didn't have the opportunity to walk to all of these same stores pretty much all of the time. I also can't imagine (and don't want to) what it would be like to go here on a game or concert day. Good Lord, talk about mayhem. read more

This was my first time at the mall, so I didn't know what to expect, but what I found were higher end shops mixed with some restaurants and bars, right next to Gillette Stadium. It was great being able to go up the steps and look into the stadium to see almost the entire field, plus they have an ice rink there during the winter months, which was packed when we walked by it. I'd definitely come back here again and actually do more than just window shopping and eat at a different place next time. read more

Despite all the hype of this place and the some pretty nice restaurants, the bottom line is that there is not much here. There are so many holes where stores should be and not quite sure if they all left or haven't arrived yet. It is an okay set up here resembling a mini Santa Monica minus the fountains with Gillette Stadium looming in the background which looks pretty cool and add in the Patriots Hall and thats cool as well. The problem I see is that they can't attract the high end stores down to this spot because lets face it, there is not the amount of traffic offseason in Foxboro. The Movie Theatre is no different than Dedham or Framingham and the eclectic array of restaurants from Davio's to CBS Scene and Wine Tasting look pretty nice and offer a wide variety and I am sure they are packed during the season. However the stores in the North Market are maybe 10 and aren't anything special (Old Navy, Victorias Secret and a huge Life is Good??). The South Market is your run of the mill big box stores aside from the massive Bass Pro Shop which looks like something out of Disney World. Not sure why there is the Nature Trail and Cranberry Bog. I remember when this used to be jsut parking lots for Foxboro stadium so I guess this is okay, but not sure how long these stores will be in business. Bob Kraft better try filling these empty store fronts because compared to Legacy Place in Dedham, this place is a ghost town. read more

I'm not reviewing this as a Patriots fan. As far as I'm concerned, this is a mall, not an accessory to a football stadium! Overall, Patriots Place is a fantastic outdoor mall. There are a ridiculous number of restaurants, shops, and small vendors - it rivals any other outdoor mall or strip mall I've been to. Don't expect a food court or a department store, obviously, as this isn't a regular mall. However, you can expect some shops and food places that are all too familiar: Old Navy, Express, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Starbucks, etc. This place is wonderful and I've had a great time every time I've been here. Ugh - this place is in no way a "destination" mall. There is seriously NOTHING there shopping-wise except sports stores, VS, Old Navy, Bath+Body Works, Hollister, and a few more that you can probably find closer to home. Parking on a Saturday wasn't bad (no home Pats game, of course), but we walked around, saw what was there, and then left. Don't really get all the hype. If it's in your neighborhood, sure, go for the movies, or trader joe's, or bed bath and beyond, or staples. But DO NOT drive more than 10-15 minutes there before checking out the store listings online. I suppose some of the restaurants could be worth visiting, but it's mostly teenagers in underwear-size shorts and people going for specific events/football. read more

This is a fun place to spend some time. I've been here at different hours of the day for all kinds of reasons and it's always a treat. A big draw is, of course, the Gillette Stadium and The Hall (Patriots Hall of Fame) is a wonderful facility with lots of interesting things to see and do (I have a separate review for them), but even if you don't like or care for football or the Patriots, there are tons of reasons to spend some time here. #1 The Food - There are a LOT of restaurants here, both fancy and casual, expensive and budget-conscious alike. I can personally vouch for Tavolino for pizza. There are also some totally different dining experiences offered at the cinema Luxe Level and Splitsville Luxury Lanes/Howl at the Moon dual piano bar where you can eat some pretty yummy grub while doing fun activities. I can vouch for both places, too, both food and fun-wise. Also, if you're just looking for a snack, there's a Cupcake Charlie (they also have soft-serve ice cream and GF treats), a Menchi's Fro-Yo, and, of course, a Dunkin Donuts that usually has seasonal specials (I think I saw milkshakes on their sign recently). For atmosphere, you can't beat the outdoor seating at CBS Scene (looking straight out at the stadium) and the rooftop at Bar Louie. #2 The Shopping - Great variety of shops here. First, the ProShops have gobs of Patriots gear, clothing, home décor, etc. I've found different items at the smaller store in the walking area than in the main (larger) store below The Hall, so I always make sure to go to both. But while I like to peruse the shops in the main walking area, the real shopping happens in the plaza next door (still Patriot Place). Ulta Beauty, Trader Joe's, Off Broadway Shoes, Christmas Tree Shop, Bass Pro Shop...and I'm forgetting a bunch, I'm sure. #3 The Activities - As I've mentioned, there's a big ol' movie theater that also has a Lux Level and a fancy bowling alley where you can have a party or just grab a quick game. Howl at the Moon piano bar is in the same facility and has lots of seating. There's also Muse Paintbar (where sometimes a drink is included!) and The Comedy Scene with live shows. Also, there's almost always some kind of family and/or fitness-minded event (there was recently a "Finish at the 50" 5k, for example) as well as face painting, music, balloon artists, etc. In short, Patriot Place has a lot to offer everyone on any given day for any reason whether you want to chill, eat, shop, or party. Can't go wrong with all the shopping to be had at Gillette Stadium. With the cinema, restaurants, retail stores, activity games... it's a mini mall catering to the sports minded family. I didn't frequent Patriot Place as often as I liked when I was in Massachusetts, so the opportunity arose to go roam on my vacation, and I took it. Too bad it was a lousy day out because I really would have loved to walk around and see the Patriots and Revs stomping grounds again. Even though it was a cold and dreary day, the whole place was clean. I saw some workers clearing out trash bins and picking up shmootz as I walked around some of the stores. Each store was well lit and staff were friendly, all the way down to the management office (went to pick up specialty tickets for 5 Wits). I'll be back (hopefully) the next time I'm in Massachusetts. Maybe I need to plan my vacation better so I see the teams play (my family wanted to get Revs tickets but the team didn't have home games the days I was with them. *Sad face*). read more

I totally agree with Shell E. Don't listen to the negative reviews. I live right behind the stadium and have watched Patriot Place transform from day one. From what I understand Bob Kraft has the final say as which stores & restaurants open in Patriot Place. They don't just let anybody open up here. They have to offer something unique or be somewhat trendy. Case in point: Tastings, CBSScene, Bass Pro Shop and Toby Keith's upcoming bar/restaurant. What makes Patriot Place 'cool' is the balance between shopping and entertainment. The shopping is still a work in progress as there are a few empty stores near the Renaissance Hotel end of Patriot Place....but it will eventually be filled in. I believe Toby Keith's bar will ignite that end of Patriot Place in 2011. Food wise, great mix. Kids will like Red Robyn and Five Guy Burgers, where I prefer Tastings or SkipJacks which is more suited towards adults. If you love wine then Tastings is the place. I know it's a personal Bob Kraft favorite. Having Gillette Stadium as the backdrop is just unique and a great setting. Every since this has opened I very rarely have the desire to go into Boston or Providence because I can pretty much find what I need here in Foxboro without the headaches of street parking or $35 garage parking. read more

I really don't understand Patriot Place. It's a cinema with some stores. If I want to go shopping at Express, Victoria's Secret, and Old Navy, I could easily keep driving to the nearest mall. The powers-that-be are installing solar shades to keep the walking paths between the stores heated via solar power. But when it's raining or snowing, the last place I want to be is Patriot Place. And if I want to go shopping on a Sunday afternoon and the Pats just happen to have a home game, forget it. The ONLY times I find myself at Patriot Place is when it falls under one or two circumstances: 1. I want go to Charming Charlie's and/or 2. Someone else drives. I don't have patience for scouring for parking. Honestly, I'd rather keep driving down Rt. 1 to go to Legacy Place or go to the Natick Mall. read more

Patriot Place is a good shopping center in Foxborough. The only real "Destination" for the town of Foxborough, yet it's new, modern, and can get BUSY. Like WAY, WAY too busy. NO JOKE. Anytime there is a event at the stadium expect MAJOR DELAYS from the Foxborough Town Rotary on Route 140 to the stadium, From Route 152 in Plainville to the stadium on Route 1 Northbound and From Route 27 in Walpole to the stadium on Route 1 Northbound. Always terrible traffic, yet this review is for the shopping center, so what I'm getting at here is that, DON'T TRY to go to Patriot Place while there is an event at adjacent Gillette Stadium. Anyway, for the actual shopping center, it's really nice, except for one major factor, in the back there is a staircase of AT LEAST 100 steps, my suggestion take the elevator..... way too much work! The shopping center is large, has lots of stores, and has lots of benches, trash cans, as well as many access routes to other shopping (over in that plaza with Bed Bath & Beyond & Christmas Tree), as well as to the parking lots. There are some good restaurants including CBS Scene, and Red Robin (also don't go there on a weekend... ugh!) Overall, good shopping center. Doesn't compare to the Natick Mall or shopping in Dedham, yet it does the job for the Walpole - Foxborough area. read more

Several years ago, when I lived across the bay from San Francisco, there was a whole lot of hubbub concerning a proposal by the SF 49ers to build a shopping mall adjacent to Candlestick Park. Although never built, Patriot Place provides a picture of what could have been. The shopping center felt like a misplaced City Walk, the retail extravaganza at Universal Studios Hollywood, in this case, though, a City Walk whacked by an economic maelstrom. The architecture is slick, hosting the same retail clones of any American mall. It was a little odd to see a Brigham and Women's clinic inserted into the shopping center. The biggest difference is that the Gillette stadium lords over everything. We tried to imagine what the mall would be like on a game day, a buzzing warren of retail activity mixed with the anticipation of the game. So, our foray to Patriot Place proved engaging enough for over the course of our visit, but we saw no reason to go back (except, perhaps, when we FINALLY see a Patriots game!) read more

I for one would like to thank Bob Kraft. First he kept the Pats from leaving town. Then he turned them from laughing stock to model N.F.L franchise I know this not a review of the Patriots. Who here remembers this area before Kraft? I do old cement stadium with metal bleacher, awful bathrooms and lousy concessions lets no forget the horse track as well. Flash forward to today. State of the art football stadium flanked by shopping, restaurants and theaters We're not just talking a strip mall with a few places to eat. It is a well designed beautiful family friendly area. Typical line-up of any mall's usual suspects with some different spots sprinkled in for good measure. There's Express, Victoria's Secret & Hollister plus Bass Pro Shop & Charming Charlie; two stores aren't found anywhere else around PVD-BOS. Good variety of food & drink options too. One of the biggest cons for me is the herds of teenagers. They stand and graze and have zero situational awareness. But then again, Providence Place isn't exactly immune to this phenomenon. I admit, I was a skeptic... traffic on Rte. 1 is already miserable. And so during the construction phase, I HATED this place. Boy was I wrong about that. 100% wrong. It's fantastic! The movie theater here is probably the coolest and classiest theater I have ever been to. The collection of stores is great, and a wonderful alternative to the area malls. CBS Scene is probably my favorite bar. And some of my favorite chain restaurants are here too. I can't think of a single drawback. This place actually only affects the miserable traffic on game days/concerts, which was already bad. So no harm there. Definitely the highlight of my brief stint living back in the suburbs over this summer. read more

A very clean outdoor mall right by Gillette stadium with lots of options, more so for food than actual shopping though. Dining spots are well above average for any shopping area with steakhouses like Davio's in the mix. Overall, the mall's much more of a nice accessory to game days rather than a shopping destination in and of itself. So If you're looking to shop mainly, you'd probably be better off checking out the Wrentham outlets or heading into the city. read more

I don't really understand Patriot Place. It's as though they took a shopping mall, put it outside, and tried to pretend that its trendy. I've been here 3 times, and its always packed. So packed, that its difficult to find a parking space. There's nothing here that you can't find in any old suburb, but in a regular 'burb parking is easy and shopping is warm. read more

Let me be clear. Patriot Place is not the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I have been places where servers were outright rude or food was burned. But I have never been anywhere that had a strategic, thought-out plan, designed to know that it would inconvenience and poorly serve patrons, do so over and over again, and not change it. We are waiting before the Ed Sheeran concert tonight. We got here at 430p, 2.5 hours before the show. We waited 20 minutes to put our name in at the Scorpion Bar, only to be told we would have a two hour wait to sit. My clock said we would not sit until 650p for a 7p show. And we thought we were going to have plenty of time to relax before a super-expensive show. (I do NOT blame Scorpion Bar or any other restaurant here.) Look, I understand 60,000 people are going to this show. Well Patriot Place obviously knows too. But the mall is open to shoppers buying necklaces at Charming Charlies. The was nowhere for us to sit. Nowhere for us to even walk without bumping into everyone. We got here WAY early only to be given no consideration to be served and catered to when we arrived. Since the stadium and the mall are the same entity, I consider it Patriot Place's responsibility to serve its ticket holders. The mall should close earlier. Or... the doors of the stadium open at 530p. They should open earlier. I hope vendors are serving food. We are starving. read more
