SUPER dangerous turning left on 109 at one exit and the other has a no left turn sign!!!! Put a traffic light here!!! Some of Milford Plaza's finds are: -- Kohl's -- Town Fair Tire -- Sally Beauty Supply -- Panera Bread -- Papa Gino's -- Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft -- Radio Shack (closing next month though!) -- Applebee's and more. UPDATE : Early 2017 Recent renovations to the entire aesthetics of this building are great. They have completely renovated the look of all the storefronts (thank goodness.... they hadn't previously done any work since the 70's!). Parking lot has been completely re paved (also used to be bumps EVERYWHERE) and the layout of the lot is new and much more efficient. Good progress. Nice to see Milford getting better and more decent retail centers.

The old version of the mall was good as it grew with time growing up with it. The store just got better and replaced with no better stores and more high-end stores. There's a really big food court and a POP MART, which I love and a part of the mall where they have regular retail stores stuff and not just high-end stores.

I think the most prevalent thing I've noticed is how there are a lot of entertainment options now. Dave and Busters was the first to open, followed by Level 99. Now there's also a Puttshack and a Bosee Pickleball club. I think this adds a layer because it turns into "just a mall" to a social gathering spot where you could shop, eat, or have fun. There's something for all ages with this. Now when it comes to the shopping, there's still your average clothing stores, there's beauty and jewelry stores like Sephora and Pandora, and also a Macys if you want a department store. There's also a wing with more high-level luxury stores, like a Zara, Louis Vitton, Tiffany, and David Yurman. I think this area is nice if you want luxury but not to travel into Boston. There's a lot of empty stores in this wing too so hopefully they get filled soon. Food options are good too, they have a food court, Cheesecake Factory, P.f. chang's., California Kitchen pizza, and the food inside of the entertainment places too. Overall this mall has been renovated a lot, and I think for the better. It encompasses a lot and you don't have to come here just to shop, but you can if you'd like. I will say though they have plenty of parking which includes free garages, people are still unkind around the holidays and you might be circling around for a while before you find a spot. Parking is always hard here no matter what and I know people who avoid this mall because of it, which is sad but I get it. I heard if you come on a weekday morning it's better.

the layout of the entire plaza is so spread out and detached from one another -- there are at least…read more5 parcels of retail areas that are separated by traffic -- making it too exhausting and even dangerous to walk around on foot (and it's outdoor!), but it's ridiculous to store-hop on wheels. maybe they design it for the "1 destination, in and out" shopping style? if so, then they are quite successful. but even the traffic flow layout it's just plain ridiculous, bordering on hazardous. in an attempt to prevent speeding, stop signs and raised dividers are everywhere, which is fine by itself. but the overall design just makes one feel like they're in a corn maze, making stops and turns every 3 seconds. going from Washington Street to Shaw's averages just about 13 turns/stops. landscaper needs to be fired as well. why are tall grasses placed so strategically that one would almost think that they did it on purpose just to block drivers' sight line for oncoming traffic? not like they have something against car insurance company... maybe it's just me, but for the number of times i come here, that's bc i know there's a store i need/want to visit. with the current layout, there isn't much chance to wander around to "see what's there". you must know where you need to go coming in, and you won't realize that some shops have existed no matter how many times you've been here.

GAP, Bath & Body Works, Hallmark, Hilliard's Chocolate, Talbots, and the list goes on and on. Places just keep closing. And why, you ask. Well, I am almost sure I have the answer. Location. It's in a remote location away from major highways and lots of traffic. Even though a fair amount of people from the local Canton, Sharon and Stoughton area do come here, there isn't enough to make it a destination for shopping, there just simply isn't enough. Plus, lots of the chain stores here are not competitive with their counterparts... Shaw's here doesn't compare to the brand new Norwood Shaw's (that was just renovated), Marshalls here doesn't compare to the also brand new Westwood Marshalls (well, it's ok), and more and more of the other stores people just do not go to. The current list of stores consists of : Starbucks UPS Store Bertucci's Partners Urgent Care (coming soon) Orange Leaf Five Guys Olympia Gourmet Garden Mattress Firm Shaw's Village Toy Shop GNC GameStop SuperCuts Verizon Paper Store Marshalls Chico's LOFT Shoe Dept. I honestly shouldn't say too many great things about the renovations to the parking lot yet.... they added tons of islands and curbs inside each parking row. With the winter season on the way I am hopeful these will stay in the condition they are in. Hope isn't reality though.... I am nearly certain that the curb cuts are too tight for all of the plowing vehicles, but we will just wait and see. Anyway, the entire plaza looks great. Everything was completely redone and renovated. Everything looks brand new. My favorite changes are the addition of so many plants and the changes to the parking areas. It definitely seems considerably more user friendly and safe for pedestrians. They added many benches and what appears a small "garden" like area in front of TJ Maxx too. Pavement was all repaved and all the stores just look completely refreshed. Definitely some great improvements made, keeping Norwood look great. I commend Gravestar (the company who owns this shopping center) for putting the time and money into Norwood's largest in-town shopping center (you know, in-town meaning NOT on Route 1!). 4 stars.

It's located south of the intersection at Route 1 & Route 152, and right off I-495 (exit 14) for Rt 1 towards Attleborough. Main point, it's in a convenient location. While it's not as large as it probably should have been built (especially with the casino across the street now....), it has some decent stores and an ideal setup. The parking lot is large, spread out and perfect for this type of complex. Sometimes a back up occurs at the beginning of one of the closest parking lanes, but it's never too much of a problem. Only complaint with parking is that Chili's NEVER has enough parking. Getting in and out of here is also easy. They recently replaced the traffic light at the intersection of the plaza and Taunton Street, and made it even easier. The flow of traffic is actually surprisingly good and much better than most other shopping centers I can think of. That being said, this area isn't nearly as busy as where most other big-box shopping centers. This shopping center consists of: Chili's Target Stop&Shop TJ Maxx / HomeGoods Sleepy's (or Mattress Firm now?) Panera (and possibly something else I'm forgetting) Good place to stop if you are in the area, or looking for some shopping after winning big at the casino across the street! Only real complaint about the shopping center is that it's so spread out that other buildings could be built to make it bigger, better, and more of a destination.
