The second time they said the office was closed, but it's a sales office that was open and staffed when I got the delivery failure text. You cannot call a human at OnTrac and their AI "assistant" did nothing more than raise my blood pressure, continuously looping me back around. OnTrac is now threatening to cancel my delivery. I asked about re-routing my delivery to this store, but was told that just wasn't possible. A shame... I hope I can get my prescription sunglasses!

I was hoping to finally, after 20 years and 5 or 6 pairs of progressive lens glasses through those 20 years, get a pair that I could acclimate to and use full time. I never had any success. None of them ever worked well enough to be useful and ended up in the junk drawer. The first pair of progressive lens glasses I bought from Dr. Koon worked PERFECTLY for distance but I still could not use them for close up reading. I really just thought it must be ME or MY EYES so I just used them for distance/driving/tv etc. and switched to my computer glasses for all close up reading. When I went back for my yearly check up in early 2026 I explained what I just described above to her and she was very concerned and disappointed that I hadn't let them know so I could get reevaluated and get it fixed. But, like I said, I truly just thought it was me and pretty much resigned myself to always needing 2 pairs of glasses. Dr. Koon assured me that was not the case and she was determined to get this resolved with positive results. I ordered a new pair of progressive lens glasses (kept my old ones to use strictly for driving when I need sun glasses because they work perfect for that). When the new glasses came in I took them home and wore them for several weeks. I had a follow up appointment for an eye issue 6 weeks later and when I was there for that she asked about the progressive lenses. I told her, nope, they still don't work for reading close up and she was so concerned. She did a repeat thorough exam (which I was not there for) and remeasured where the correction lenses should start and end while I was wearing them. After measuring she said, they seem to be off by just a teeny-weenie bit, so minute that it wouldn't bother most people. She decided I'm not most people and that tiny bit of adjustment was needed for them to work for me so she sent them back to the manufacturer with the minor adjustment. I just went back in recently to pick them up and OH MY GOODNESS - THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORKING FOR ME!!!! As I'm sitting here writing this review I'd really rather be in her shop thanking her in person (which I'll do soon). The time and care she spent with me was so very appreciated and I could not be happier with my new frames and progressive lenses that actually are perfect for my eyes. AND, I must also mention her front office staff! These ladies are so friendly and welcoming, eager to help with whatever is needed and definitely will go the extra mile for a task when needed. So, if you're in need of a new eye doctor I am giving her the highest recommendation I could possibly give - it is such a relief to finally have glasses that work perfectly for my eyes and I will look forward to visiting her office for any reason just to say hello to her wonderful staff.

It felt like a clear signal that helping customers wasn't her priority. I browsed on my own, found a pair of glasses, and had to approach her to start the purchase. When I asked if there were other models in the same brand, she said she could only look them up if I had the SKU number. It felt more like I was interrupting her than being helped. About a week later, I came back to pick up the glasses after getting a pickup notification. When I entered, a different associate asked what I needed, and I said I was there for pickup. She told me to wait off to the side and I did. Then, another man walked in after me asking about available frames. Instead of finishing my pickup, she began helping him...searching the system and eventually chatting with him casually while checking her phone. I was left waiting, completely ignored, for over 15 minutes. When she finally brought my glasses over, she simply said, "They're already paid for, so you can leave when you want." I asked if they could tighten my old pair of glasses. She said yes just bring in the old pair and we can fix them. I then told her that I had the old pair with me and she simply said, "Not today." No explanation. The store was not busy, and there were still three hours until closing. When I asked again, if she could fix them today to save me a trip coming back, she simply repeated, "Not today." I said, Ok and walked out confused and honestly a little stunned. It wasn't just unhelpful -- it felt pointed. I can't say for sure why I was treated so dismissively, but when someone else walks in after you and receives full attention while you're made to wait without cause, it's hard not to wonder if bias played a role. I was given no other explanation. I get that the abhorrent behavior of our president has everyone on edge but that's still not a good excuse. This experience made me feel like my time and my business didn't matter. I won't be returning, and I would strongly caution others before doing business at this location.

Most concerning was the office's response after acknowledging that an employee had entered the order incorrectly. Rather than taking accountability and correcting the mistake, we were told that we would be required to pay the additional difference in cost to receive the lenses we had originally requested and believed we had already paid for when we ordered the glasses. Mistakes can happen. However, customers should be able to expect accurate information, properly processed orders, and a fair resolution when an office acknowledges that an error was made on its end.

The owners were incredibly professional and took the time to walk me through the entire process, which I truly appreciated as a first-timer. Because of the value of my items, they were also kind enough to return everything to me after about 60 days, which I found to be very thoughtful and fair. Although my focus this visit was selling and not purchasing, I can't ignore how great their selection is -- they have some really nice pieces. I also love that they use Facebook Live to promote items and that they operate two locations.
