This was my first time ever attempting to sell items through a consignment shop, and while it didn't quite work out for me this round, I still walked away feeling very positive about the experience. The owners were incredibly professional and took the time to walk me through the entire process, which I truly appreciated as a first-timer. Because of the value of my items, they were also kind enough to return everything to me after about 60 days, which I found to be very thoughtful and fair. Although my focus this visit was selling and not purchasing, I can't ignore how great their selection is -- they have some really nice pieces. I also love that they use Facebook Live to promote items and that they operate two locations. And as a women-owned, Black-owned business, that's an even bigger reason for me to continue supporting them. I plan to try consigning again next season once I go through my wardrobe and decide what I'd like to bring in, and on my next visit I'll definitely be shopping too. So it's about that time.... Spring cleaning is here! After going through my closet and gathering a few handbags that I was not using, I went on a hunt for a trendy consignment shop to bring them to. Low and behold (thanks to the 3 previous yelpers that left reviews), I stumbled across this GEM of a shop! Now, I'm typically not one to purchase from or shop in consignment stores. Nothing against them, but they just never seem to have anything of interest to me. And when I do find something I like, it's usually not my size, so I'd just resolved that these shops are not for me. But when I stepped into New Digz, surprisingly, there were multiple items that I immediately fell in love with! This spot is definitely NOT your typical consignment shop. From the moment I walked in the door, the ambiance was that of a modern and contemporary boutique. From the dresses carefully chosen for the displays that greeted the new customers in the front windows, to the furniture, the layout of how things were placed, the adorable selfie station, and (most importantly) the inventory. Everything about this place MADE you want to buy something before you walked out of the door. I had to remind myself countless times that I was actually there to drop off items, not bring home items, because there was plenty there that I wanted to take with me. From purses, jewelry, scarves, shades, shoes, and even clothes for the kiddos, this place had some of everything! Now I will say that for me, driving to this place was a bit of a hike being that I live right outside of DC, but I must say that it was well worth the drive. Very disappointed on my returned unsold items. They were not returned in the original cases and shoe boxes. Please be careful and check your items before you leave the store . Not to mention they require you not use plastic bags when you submit your items but my items were returned to in a damn grocery bag! Sellers take your items to another consignment shop. That's right! Your shop is not for me and I'm glad I decided not to bring my high end luxury items to sell! It's called freedom of speech! read more

Loved them! Gorgeous set up, beautiful clothing, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Clothes for adults and some children's clothes. It was so hard to leave with just one thing! Go and enjoy! Location is off the beaten path BUT I call it my new hidden gem! I didn't feel like I was totally in a consignment shop. There was a lot of space to walk around and wasn't overcrowded. I was lucky enough to be introduced to this delightful shop through an event just last month. I can't tell you how happy I am to have this shop in sight. Now, not only will I be able to uncover a few true gems, I'll be able to whisk my friends off on a PG County adventure. I love digging for treasure, especially when I don't have to get my hands dirty while digging! This small shop is beautifully displayed, and it is easy to see that the owners have put a huge amount of work into accepting quality pieces. I was able to snag two skirts and a jacket within moments, and will probably regret leaving the gorgeous red tote bag for a while. I hope that the woman who bought it loves it as much as I know I would! Anyway... The biggest advantage that this consignment shop has over others I've visited is one of size. Not size of the space, but sizes within their inventory. Rather than limit the stock to "regular" sizes, the owners have done a great job including a selection of plus sized clothing as well. I'm not a small person, and my taste is on the picky side, so I was happy to find so many things that I'd have enjoyed owning. New Digz has only one major issue and it's a big one, but I'll tell you why it is easy to forgive. Location. Location, location, location. This charming store is in hiding in PG County. Not only is it tucked away in this sleepy corner of the DMV, it is in an out of the way shopping center at the edge of, well, everything else. HOWEVER I'm here to tell you that it is absolutely worth your time to search out this boutique style shop. If you are willing to travel to the outer reaches of Montgomery County to hit some shops, the trip to New Digz will take you a shorter time, and has the potential to be much more rewarding. read more

I just moved to PG County from MoCo and was concerned that I wouldn't have any good consignment shops close to me. Boy was I wrong! I am blown away with how great New Digz Consignment is. The owners are super friendly and very helpful, and the selection is out of this world, at EXCELLENT prices! Some consignment stores can be overwhelming and disorganized, New Digz is neither- it is amazing well-merchandised in an intuitive and eye-catching manner. Everything is in its proper place. There are some VERY high-end products in this store, and they only accept things in the best of shape! The store, like its clothes, is very clean and fresh. I am so pleased!! I just picked up a surprisingly large chunk of cash from some jewelry, shoes and handbags that I dropped off at New Digz a few months ago. I didn't follow up with my online account and I didn't keep track of the receipt when I dropped my items off, so I was a little worried. Also, my expectations weren't high since I have consigned and sold to a lot of other second hand stores and always gotten next to nothing (for example: Mustard Seed, Second Time Around, Secondi all paid me very little). At New Digz they split the money 50/50 and there is no funny business. They are extremely professional, had tracked and recorded everything and happily paid me in cash. What a fantastic surprise! I can't recommend them highly enough. From a consigner's viewpoint, this place is far better than others I have encountered. And from a customer's viewpoint, I know that they are honest, they only accept items in perfect condition and they do not sell fakes. Everything in the store is authentic and top quality. I also want to note that when I dropped off my items, Kelly, the owner, rejected several of my items but she was very nice about it and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all, which was definitely a first! One more great thing... I did not need an appointment to drop off items. So many things I love this place!!! read more
