I asked a few clarifying questions to the optician about timing because there was another appointment going on, and another person waiting there, and she started to get combative and nasty with me. And then, wait for it, she called me "honey" in a derogatory manner. Yes. It's 2026 and a female patient is being called honey by a woman who is clearly unhappy at her job. I asked, "Did you call me honey?" She said "Yup!". I asked her to cancel my appointment. Sadly, I really like Dr. Ding here, but I'll just go back to my prior eye place in my old zip code. I predict that this employee has gotten away with a nasty attitude for a long time.
