My family and I have been seeing the same optometrist in a nearby town for over 20 years. However, some recent experiences left me wanting to try someone else. I am so glad I made the decision to visit Dr. Le. In my first visit, she examined my eyes and found a condition that can lead to a retina tear. Dr. Le helped me get an appointment with a highly regarded ophthalmic practice. An ophthalmologist addressed the issue the same day. The ophthalmologist told me that I probably had the condition for around two years based on the scar tissue. He gave Dr. Le (who he doesn't know) a lot of credit for identifying a barely visible problem. He said that he could have missed it himself. Beyond the eye issue, Dr. Le was very thorough in examining my eyes, filling my prescriptions, and fitting me for the best glasses and contact lens. She is friendly, explains things effectively, and provides compassionate eye care. I would highly recommend Dr. Le to my family, friends, and anyone who is looking for an optometrist.

I've never had this problem elsewhere, including getting pupillary distance or measurements that would allow me to get glasses elsewhere if I want. It's petty. Also much more expensive than some other places that make equally good lenses with good frame choices, and they don;t take insurance which is of course their prerogative. (I saw the claims form online several months later that they had double charged/collected their fees from me and the insurance company. It was for the frames and the contact lens fitting/order.) In addition, the vision prescription for the frames were way too strong and I still can't wear them without getting a headache. I will never come back here and be warned to future patients. Not only was I kept waiting over an hour for this appointment, but my insurance didn't cover it so I had to pay for it. Dr. I recommended that I have a series of laser treatments at $250 each. AND she told me a horror story about how I could go blind if I didn't do it. Then, when my glasses came in the alignment or something was way off. I had it checked and redone redone twice. The lenses alone cost $650 because they were progressives with prism. (They were never right but I gave up.) When I told them I couldn't see well enough to drive wearing the glasses, they didn't believe me and said I just had to get used to progressives even though I explained that I had had progressives before. So, I had to return three times and wait a long time even though I had appointments. At the time, I wrote a negative review. The owner contacted me and asked me to take it down and he'd give me a free pair of prescription sunglasses lens. (I provided the frames.) I'm submitting this again because it's a year later and I went to another eye doctor. Now, after a good experience at Boston Vision, I know I was right to complain. Sure, prescriptions change, but I found out the contacts didn't even correct my astigmatism, which is the main reason I wear them, and the glasses were way off. Not only that, but no one tried to sell me any lasers or drops or eye masks. When it came to tests, they carefully explained my choices because some were included under my insurance and others weren't.

She cares about her patients, she is down to earth and really gives you knowledge about your eyes, contacts, glasses, etc. Her office is gorgeous and on the third floor. There is a massive parking lot (free) out in the back. Her doors to the elevator are on the side across from the post office. Dr. Le is patient and takes her time with her patients.
