While she was browsing for a pair the manager came and stood no more than a foot behind her. When my wife asked if she was on her way the manager responded that she was in the middle of doing inventory. My wife offered to get out of the way and she can browse elsewhere while she continued her duties but the "manager" said no and continued to stand behind my wife with her hands in her hips! My wife advised this manager that she didn't feel comfortable with her being this close to her and the manager's response was "if you feel uncomfortable we have a problem" my wife asked politely to please back off and the manager responded by telling my wife she needed to get out of her store! My wife left upset and finished telling me the story and we walked to the macys which has a sunglasses hut and the gentlemen there was able to help us rather quickly, we made our purchase and we're on our way. Cherry on top for this place within a few days of receiving his lenses he broke his frame at school I called to see if I can order a replacement Alex stayed come on down. And he happily replaced the frame at no charge!!! Later my father in law needed to replace his glasses he usually goes to Costco but I told him he had to try this places! I had a very disappointing experience during my visit this morning around 9am. I was assisted by…read morefemale optician (I see her name here on the chart but won't be mentioning it), and unfortunately, the service felt misleading and unprofessional. Without informing me, she added Illumacoat Ultra and an insurance plan to my order. I only realized this when my total came out higher than usual, so I asked the cashier to print an itemized receipt after I had already paid. If I hadn't specifically requested that receipt, I would not have known these extra charges were added at all. When I questioned the additional charges, instead of removing them, she repeatedly tried to persuade me to keep them. She then told me to "just try them" and said I could return them within 30 days if I didn't like them. However, returning them would take an extra trip and additional time out of my day. This could have been avoided if the charges were never added without my consent in the first place. What made the situation worse was that she told me I would lose a "20% discount" she personally gave me if I removed those add-ons. After going home and reviewing my receipt, I found that this 20% discount is actually standard for all customers purchasing their first pair. It isn't something exclusive she provided. I've been coming here for a long time with Kaiser insurance, and in the past, staff have always clearly explained and asked before adding any extra services. This was the first time I felt pressured and misled into paying for something I did not request. The amount itself wasn't a lot, but it's the principle. I ended up agreeing at the time because I had just gotten off a night shift and didn't have the energy to argue, but the experience didn't sit right with me. I hope management addresses this, as transparency and honesty should be the standard for all customers.

I got a text today that my glasses are ready so I came down to get them. Did they have both pairs there? No, they only had one. They made the Raybans with clear lenses instead of sunglasses. The frame is a large size to protect my eyes from the sun. It is way too large to wear with clear glasses every day. I tried it on and looked ridiculous. So here I am now, still with my old glasses and they are waiting for the second pair to come in, so that they can return them both and redo it. I have another month hardly able see.
