I came here a few weeks back and had a horrible experience with the assistant manager I went during the weekday looking for the Celine and the whole time he was talking to another employee not engaging with me at all. The store was alone nobody else was there. I decided to leave and I came back today and Kayla helped me out and she was the sweetest! Very engaging and giving me her opinion on which Celine's to take. She's a great sales associate! I appreciate her kindness and great energy! read more

Sunglass Hut - Sunglasses Near Me - Cerritos, California

I visited this Sunglass Hut today excited to purchase the new Starfire Kylie Edition AI glasses and even brought my new Insta360 camera to document the experience. Almost immediately, an employee told me I wasn't allowed to record inside the store. I looked around and didn't see any signs stating that recording or photography was prohibited. When I asked about it, I was told it was a corporate policy, but no further explanation was provided. Unfortunately, instead of helping me with the glasses I came to buy, the conversation shifted to unrelated rhetorical questions that left me feeling uncomfortable and discouraged from shopping there. I completely respect that stores can have policies regarding recording. However, if that's the case, those policies should be clearly posted and explained professionally. Most importantly, customers who come in ready to make a purchase should feel welcomed and assisted--not leave without buying anything because of the interaction. I hope management reviews this experience and provides better customer service training moving forward. read more

Sunglass Hut - Employee enforcing customers not to record when entering Sunglass Hut that corporate has a strict policy. - Sunglasses Near Me - Cerritos, California

Very disappointing experience. Wanted to purchase a pair of sunglasses from a specific employee I spoke with earlier, I had the sunglasses in hand and was waiting for her to free up from ringing someone up however a male staff was being very pushy about helping me instead. He then stated he would clean up the sunglasses and package them for me (mind you these were the display sunglasses) I asked if they had a new pair in the back, he immediately answered "no, this is the only pair we have". I just said oh no thank you and walked out. read more

The manager and the employee were sketchy. They didn't want to take my return and told me to go to the original store that I had bought it at. It was super clear that they just didn't want to take my return with some of their actions when I was there. Went to the store I bought them at the next day (Pasadena) and had a lot easier return process and great experience. Only proved how much more of a hard time the Cerritos store gave me. read more

Male employee (I think Hispanic) with terrible customer service & people skills refused to accept a return on a pair of Ray Bans (RB3928) that they sold me with manufacturing defects where the lens had cracks under the screws that connect the frame to the lens. He said he could not accept the return based not on the manufacturing defects, but because there were scratches on the lens, that even after looking closely several times, I could not discern. Homeboy, if your store's numbers are that bad that you can't take the hit of a return, just say that. It's probably a skill issue on your part. Had to reach out to another Sunglass Hut where upon inspecting it, they could not discern any of the supposed "scratches" that were pointed out to me previously, and handled the return seamlessly and professional. For the record, I've dealt with some wonderful staff here, so this review is just for that one guy. Nice job brother! read more

The sales guy is very rude. We want a replacement for a rayban which had a small scratch on the frame when I open it as a gift this christmas. He does not want to replace instead he wants us to go to other store. read more

Garbage customer service. Came in with a simple refund and they didn't accept the glasses even though I didn't wear them or use them at all. The glasses were in brand new condition. One associate checked them and they were fine but when the second one checked them she found a non existent scratch. Maybe she scratched them with her tacky 2 inch long artificial nails.. even though they claimed they were scratched I saw no scratches and was treated like if i was trying to scam them even though I've spent hundreds of dollars at sun glass hut. read more

This was a great experience for me today at sunglasses hut. I found 2 perfect frames I totally love - I bought the de la salle by Oakley omg totally amazing sunglasses and I bought the ray ban Carlos- another stunning pair of sunglasses and I could have not bought either pair without the help of Brandon my sales man . Absolutely amazing representation of sunglasses hut. We need more men like Brandon . He did a very good job pointing me in the right direction of some frames and than I decided on the de la salle and the carlos . I'm so glad I came into this store today . Thank you Eric as well for being another store employee that is stellar as well. I'll only buy my frames this store and no other I found my go to place. read more

To the phat MF that sold me the Oakleys with the fake Jewelry, your moms a hoe. Now that We have your attention. For everything we would speak, he had a rude a$$ comeback. I asked for a new pair as (they always do) since the displays, are displays. He also got mad that we didn't yell out that we had a coupon the second we stepped foot in the store , and also got upset that we gave him an alternative coupon with a higher discount. Whoever runs and operates this location deserves to be robbed again or shut down. Thanks. read more

Regan was so nice & welcoming! She was knowledgeable about the products. Made my purchase super simple!

I'm writing this because this core location shares the same managers as the Sunglass Hut in Macy's and our experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I should have read the reviews on this place before I made my purchase because other people experienced a very similar issue with these managers and their lack of knowledge when it comes to processing transactions and returns. They not only mishandled our situation but were oblivious to their own policies. Other Sunglass Hut location managers were in agreeance that they should not have overcharged us to begin with... Despite being wrongfully overcharged, it took a week of multiple emails and calls with corporate to finally get our money back. We had to physically show up to get our refund and Tory, who was in charge of processing our refund that day, failed to extend even a simple apology on behalf of the store and instead just kept it short. The interaction lacked empathy and as an asm and representative of the store, she could have done a better job of at least acknowledging this week long mistake on their end. For anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation, I strongly recommend reaching out to corporate to explore ALL available options. Don't let these managers brush off their responsibility by citing policy loopholes. There's always someone higher up who can address grievances and ensure customer satisfaction. AVOID THIS LOCATION AND THE MACY'S LOCATION read more

What a joke !!! This place needs to be run by people who know what they doing. I've talked to customer service about a return. It's pretty sad that customer service is confused by what they are doing. Also I get to the mall when they open (10) waiting waiting all the other store open and finally at 10;20 the so called manager shows up. I asked her you open at 10!right ? And she said yep. Lol. Great way to run a business. Follow the rules when your want. I love Sunglass hut but don't waste your time going to this one. read more

Could not beat the BOGO this holiday season. Shopped for at least an hour but our Sales Rep was legit. Super patient and made a ton of recs. My girls tried on almost all of em!! We left with 2 pairs! Service like this will beat online shopping all day, every day and twice on Tuesday. Thank you Sunglass Hut!! read more

So had an issue with Sunglass hut in Brea.... long story short check your stuff glasses before you leave. Now let's move on to Vivianna at the Macy's location in Cerritos. What a wonderful and helpful person, she was very enthusiastic and took care of my problem easily. She also made sure I was happy with my purchase. Great customer service A+++ Will shop here again because of her great customer service! read more

Just had a bad experience here..worst customer service ever. My husband and I were casually shopping and from the moment we stepped inside, the employees seemed desperate to sell us a pair of sunglasses even after we told them multiple times that we were "just looking and not looking for anything specific." They're super pushy and made us feel uncomfortable. My husband chose a pair of Oakleys and I had a "$40 off $200" coupon code for my birthday so I let them know when the employee rang us up. He was super rude and said I should've told him earlier because now he had to cancel the whole transaction. (Mind you, it only took about a second to redo the transaction). Then made another snarky comment about making sure to tell them when we have a coupon next time I purchase another time. He also had to comment about my birthday coupon not being "that great" because sunglass Hut has given out "better" coupons before. So in case anyone wants to buy sunglasses using a coupon, make sure you walk in with it attached to your forehead so they know you'll be using one with your purchase. Hope that helps :) read more

I received really bad customer service here. I spoke with two representatives and a managers in regard to a return and they were very unprofessional. I would recommend a different location or sunglass store if you're looking for respectful associates. read more

Went here to return a sunglass purchase, after waiting about 20+ mins for the store to re-open (salesperson was on break) was told my return was unacceptable because of a "scratch." I could not see this scratch for the life of me and I honestly looked. Went to another Sunglass Hut location and returned it with no problem, the person who accepted the return did inspect the glasses pretty thoroughly too. Don't take your returns to this location. And I won't be shopping here either. read more

The employees here are rude and unhelpful. Please go somewhere else if you're looking for sunglasses. The representatives have a huge lack of customer service. I received an online order I purchased from them due to them not having them in stock at the store. I got a defective pair of glasses and went in store to exchange for a new one. They wouldn't exchange and blamed me for them fitting incorrectly. I would have never ordered online but I had too because they never have them in stock. Please go to a reputable place and not here. read more

Viviana in the sunglasses dept (inside Macy's) was really helpful, professional and smart. As busy at it was she handled everything very well and should I mention she did it all by herself. 11/10 read more

Worst customer service EVER ! That associate named Janette was so disrespectful and rude . Such an attitude dripping off her every word , It's just hilarious how quick they are to charge my card for a pair of glasses. But how difficult it is to return the glasses and get a refund. It was for a secret Santa gift but the person I got had seeing glasses so no point in giving them glasses they can't use. But clearly that associate didn't understand that . She also had the audacity to turn away from us to help someone who was looking to buy instead of just finishing my transaction that was half way through already. Someone please have this store go to a mandatory customer service training , cause if the other employees are like Janette then good look to you all. read more

Very disappointing experience today. I believe the manager's name is Brian and he was incredibly condescending! They made me wait for help related to a screw replacement while other employees walked around not helping anyone and while Brian took his time price tagging. I couldn't believe the poor and lack of professionalism and customer service. I didn't say anything while I was there about how I was feeling, I just waited patiently baffled by the whole thing. My intention was to purchase two pairs of sunglasses today, but after how they handled my situation I realized this was not the place I wanted to give my money to. Within the past couple of years I've noticed a huge decline in customer service with Sunglass Hut. Such a shame. Today's experience crossed the line and I will no longer be shopping at Sunglass Hut. I don't recommend this place at all. You're better off going directly to the manufacturer. read more

Had come in for an exchange and found a pair upon checking out jannett told me I can't get a refund of the difference without the card used at purchase. Once I was already checking out so I just ask for a refund, and I can't get it even though they were a gift. I come back with the card and the glasses are scratched I need to order them online and I ask her for a refund with the card so I can just order them myself she said I can't because I got them with a discount ? Doesn't make sense to me just give me the amount that I paid for ? And then she offers to give it to me store credit or on the card, couldn't I just do store credit from the beginning ? Then! She says the system doesn't work she'll give us cash ! WHY DID I NEED THE CARD IF I HAD ALL TNWSE OTHER OPTIONS ! Don't waste time here and go to the Lakewood location instead read more

I'll said it once and I'll say it again, Koreans have fat heads. I can say that cause I'm Korean and I think my head is huge. So when you try to find a pair of sunglasses that you like, it's difficult for me. So each time I visit the mall, I try to hit up Sunglass Hut to roll the dice. The people working at this location in the Los Cerritos Center are helpful and friendly. I've never had issues with the attitude or them being too up front about trying to get a sale out of you. So while looking around in the store, I found a pair of Ray Ban's (New Wayfarer) in Black Matte with Polarized Lenses. Gave it a try and it fit perfectly to my surprise. It was around $175, so not that bad considering the fact that this business sells their gear kinda pricey. I say that cause I can get good, brand name sunglasses downtown at the LA Fashion District for much cheaper. Nevertheless, I guess I'm the type that has the screw the sale attitude when it comes to something I want. Ka-ching went the register. Left the mall feeling pretty good, so not a bad day's investment. Happy shopping. read more

I had my mind set on getting a pair of designer glasses. I wasn't too thrilled about the associate following me and not really helping. I honestly felt i was being watched and no was attempting to sell to me. I had to beg the associate to check his back stock . Telling me things weren't back stock when i ask then later find that they do have them. I tried on at least 10 pair of glasses on my own before i found a pair that i liked. I probably go to a different location when I'm ready for another pair. I like my purchase just not the associates there . They were nicer when I made my purchase. . read more

Came in to look at a pair of glasses for my boyfriend for Christmas. I told Daniel what I was looking for and he helped me pick out the right fit. I appreciated his patience with me and letting me take photos of a few frames to see if my boyfriend likes it. He was very kind and it made my day. He said he'll worked at the Macy's store normally so I'll have to check out that store in the future. Thanks again. read more

Rude employees. Asked for the location and all the girl said was by Victoria's Secret. Obviously I don't know where I am but she was so not helpful. I don't normally review retail stores but the ladies here deserve this. They gave me exceptional service because I couldn't figure out which pair to get. My boyfriend had gotten his raybans stolen and I didn't know which pair he had. Erica and her team were so accommodating. When we finally figured out the pair he had before they found out they were out of stock so gave me the option of ordering it online or checking other stores. They were so helpful and patient throughout the whole process and I'd definitely come back to get any sunglasses from them! read more

I had came to exchange sunglasses I had bought at another location. The employees here told me I couldn't because I didn't have the receipt even though I told them the other location had emailed me the receipt but never received it. I went to the other location and told asked for a physical receipt and the employee at the other location told me they could've looked up my receipt themselves with just my phone number. My uncle had purchased me a pair of Oakleys while I was away on vacation. They were nice, but I am not an Oakley girl. He placed them in a box and left them on my doorstep for when I came back. He said if I didn't like them, I could return them before the 30 days was up. I came back from my vacation today and went straight to this location (where it was purchased) to return the Oakleys and pick out a new pair.. haven't touched them. Tori, the manager, said I was unable to return them because there were scratches on them. HOW WERE THERE SCRATCHES IF THEY HAVENT BEEN WORN?! I do not know. I guess I can't be too mad, this location already has pretty bad reviews, so I can't expect much, but I'll be sure to tell everyone to no longer shop here. read more

Really really bad customer service. Had the same issue as many others stated. I bought a replacement ray bans cuz I lost my favorite pairs. But couple of weeks later I found my original pair so I went to return these because I had 90 days to return them. The 2 sales ladues said I had scratches on them, which was a big lie. I know this was a scam so they wouldn't have to take it back. Should've gone to Nordstrom's all along. Very bad customer service! Bought a pair of sunglasses from the Citadel location. 4 days later, came here to return them because i found something else that worked better. They refused to return because apparently, the glasses had a couple small scratches. Well, guess what, I did not use the glasses, did not even take them out of the case in the 4 days i owned them. So, I was forced to take responsibility for Sunglass Hut's mistake (selling me glasses that had scratches). This is the kind of customer service that makes companies lose customers permanently! read more

I purchase 2-3 pairs a year from here. I'm always satisfied with the selection and quality of the products. But the reason for 3 stars is the service. I understand because it's a mall store they get many browsers, but it's not an excuse for not being attentive to serve and delight. The associates seem unmotivated to make a sell or even up-sell. I would appreciate more knowledgeable and enthusiastic associates to help me with my selection next time. read more

Excellent customer service Julio! Thank you for exchanging my glasses and doing it with a smile.

I want to suck on the managers Janet's toes... She's so sexy... Other than it was great customer service.

Today I went to have some maintenance on my sunglasses and they employee working there was extremely a jerk (Visited 8/26 at Around 12:00PM)! First he said he could not do any adjustments on my sunglasses because they were prescription and I mentioned they not and then he spend minutes looking at the lens and finally after being convinced pulled out his toolkit. He did not even try to adjust the screws and said they were as tight as could be and could do nothing. He did not offer an alternative such as trying to replace the screws and tighten it up so the arms on the sunglasses would not be so loose. I have worked in Customer Service for over 10+ years and if a customer came in and presented the same issue go above and beyond to have them leave a satisfied customer. Instead I left "F" ing pissed and vowed never to give the Sunglass Hut (located by the information desk at the Cerritos Mall) any business in the future. LEARN HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!!!! read more
