He took his time with the exam and even pointed out an area I should follow up on with my primary care doctor, which I really appreciated. ​The rest of the staff was just as wonderful. They were incredibly patient with me and supportive when it came to explaining my insurance coverage. She asked if there was a style I was looking for and found basically the exact pair I wanted! Sunglasses frames there can also be used for optical ones as well. Explained how everything works. Walked in with my prescription in hand, was greeted right away by a gentleman. Let him know I need glass made right away due to issue in my right eye and am under treatment with ophthalmologist. I'm a contact wearer only, doctor said no contacts for a good while. The gentleman asked for my prescription, reviewed it and said depending what frame I choose and what extras I wanted they could have them made for me. He assisted in finding a nice frame suiting me, never rushing me. He proceeded to take my order, the polycarbonate, anti-reflection and anti-scratch protection where included in the cost of the frame $240.00. He then told me it would be twenty minutes. I believe it was more like 15 minutes when he came back with the prescription glasses! Fit great, paid and was home within an hour 15 minutes round trip from Lakewood. Eleven Optical is a hidden gem when it comes to eyewear and eye service. They have a very professional staff, are very accommodating, and can get you in and out without all the hassle and paperwork. They have a wide variety of different frames and don't try to upsell you on anything, so you don't feel pressured to buy anything. We called to schedule an eye appointment on the same day, and they were able to schedule us within the next 2 hours. We have VSP for vision insurance and I typically go to an in-network, so that the insurance covers the exam and most of the frame/lens costs. Eleven Optical was NOT an in-network provider of VSP, but Eleven Optical was able to do the paperwork for us to get a reimbursement for our eye exam and lens. You don't have to do anything but sign a few papers, and they do the rest to get you the reimbursement. You'll just have to wait a few days to get the check delivered to your address The optometrist is well-knowledged, friendly, and thoroughly explains the conditions of your eyes. I suggest you tell them everything, that way they can get you the right prescription. After the exam, they can produce your lens on the spot and add that to your frame (assuming you have an old pair of glasses and just want to replace the lens) in about 10 minutes. Prices are just as competitive as an in-network company. (Note: These prices may vary depending on your vision insurance. This is just my experience, and I have VSP.) Our eye exam was $45 per person. If you have your own frame, you can just order the lens after your eye exam for ~$80. Frames and other additional add-ons to your lens will vary and you can check with them before purchasing it. They go through the prices with you in detail, so you know you aren't being scammed in any way. Summary: QUALITY: Great, durable, high-quality frames out on display. It's up to you to pick whichever color and brand you want. You don't have to purchase all the expensive features and add-ons if you know you aren't going to need them. WAIT TIME: Barely any wait time. Our appointment was scheduled within 2 hours of us calling them. We got a new pair of glasses within 10 minutes after our eye exam. PRICE: Depends on your eye insurance, but for VSP, $45 for the eye exam. $80 for a new lens with a blue light filter. SERVICE: Exceptional! My husband and I just moved into the area and were looking for an optometrist. The staff are all very welcoming and knowledgeable. We very much appreciate their help with filing the insurance claim and getting the refund. But honestly, even without insurance I would still come here because the eye exams are very reasonably priced. The office was very busy on a Saturday afternoon but we were helped in a timely manner and did not feel rushed at all. Best place to get glasses + lenses! THIS Eleven Optical, with Jason and staff, is my all-time favorite optical store. First, they carry frames for small faces, IYKYK. Jason is thorough in measuring for progressive lenses, something I've never had luck with at other places. He double-checked my prescription from out-of-state, without charge, something he didn't have to do. The staff was warm and welcoming and answered all my questions and educated me on the benefits of using their services. I was a little nervous because they were out of network with my insurance BUT they still came in much less than what I paid the years I had been going to LensCrafters with insurance and I felt their level of service was way beyond what I experienced in the past. They explained they will file the paperwork with my insurance plan for reimbursement!!! Who does that??? omg I don't wear glasses but the kids do, the staff here are super sweet and informative. While other locations nickel and dime for every other option such as coatings they include it in the price. The glasses they carry are Asian fit which is ideal for us with a less dominant nose bridge. They make the lenses in house so you can sometimes get the glasses the same day. read more

Absolutely no reason to go to koreatown anymore for glasses. The eye exams are also done in house ($45, extremely inexpensive. Heads up though, my exam was for glasses only) and all lenses are made in house! They carry a ton of Korean brands- rest assured the models are as trendy as it gets. Jason and his staff are willing to go above and beyond for you. My usual optometrists are from Eye Care West Optometry. I was declined the request of obtaining a year supply contacts + eye glass frames + eye glass lenses, as I was informed I can only get either contacts or glasses annually; not both. So with this information, I went to Eleven Optical and paid for both frames + lenses out of pocket. Jason obtained my vision insurance information, checked my coverage, and thoroughly explained what is covered and what is not covered. Turns out contacts + frames are covered annually. So Jason proceeded to submit a claim to my vision insurance to reimburse me for the frames... and 3 weeks later, I received that reimbursement. Thus I thank YOU for going above and beyond.
