I love sun tea!!!! They have a SUPER CUTE SITTING CAFE where u can study and they have so many charging ports in the area and there's a bathroom. Food: soufflé pancakes you won't be disappointed. Their drinks are good too I normally don't like things too sweet and I felt like their sweetness was good Parking: parking structure first hour is free, or street parking but it's all paid parking. Honestly if I need validation I'll just buy something from hmart right next door lol Service: no complaint. They were nice and they have stamp cards! read more

I like coming to Sune mix when I need a quick bubble tea and I'm looking for something that I know will come out fast and still be delicious. This location allows for you to kind of hang out for a while with their very comfortable seating. Each table has an outlet so if you need to find a place, that's quiet to sit and study, this is a really great option. If you don't want to study and just kind of wanna hang out with friends, they do have boardgames that you can borrow and play while you drink your drinks. The service is kind yet fast and efficient. Their menu is pretty vast for being a bubble tea place, but you'll be sure to find your favorites if you don't want to stray from what you're used to. read more

Sun Tea Mix - Strawberry Avocado Yogurt Mango Charm strawberry lime tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Tea-leaf me this is my favorite! I'm all about the fruit and this places does offer me it all and more! Sun Tea Mix is in the right of SALT Kaka'ako and parking is the challenge though the parking garage either at SALT or H Mart will offer you one hour absolutely free without validation and if you do get lucky there are some metered parkings available as well. This super bright and modern decor does make spilling the tea so fun and easy with not just tea and smoothies but don't forget their soufflé pancakes and the occasional pop up events so follow them on Instagram @sunteamix808 to keep up with the trends they tend to have regularly. The staff here is great and this woman owned and run biz really does have it and so much more! Thank you! read more

The girl who took our order was very rude when we had asked her a question about a drink. She looked at her coworker, made a face, and said something mean in a different language that she thought I couldn't understand. We all ordered the mango smoogurt and although it was good, I don't think we would come back again because of the unfriendly and rude customer service here. read more

Sun Tea is located in Kakaako near SALT with parking found on the street with garages in SALT and H-Mart, if you find yourself shopping at those places too. The inside is clean and inviting. There is sitting inside and outside. Not a ton of sitting but a few tables. The drinks come out pretty quickly but the souffle pancakes can take about 15 minutes. While the pancakes are not that big and appear to be light, they turned out to be quite filling and sweeter than we expected. The matcha latte was also good and a bit sweeter than we expected. Overall, a good location for a sweet treat to meet up with a friend or even do a bit of work at one of their tables. read more

Great tea and dessert shop located in Kaakako area. I really enjoyed the Crème Brûlée soufflé cake here! It was very fluffy and jiggly! You can even watch them make yours. Took about 15 minutes. Good spot to sit and hang out with friends. Lots of chairs and tables. Cute ambiance too. I've tried some of their tea drinks and weren't as impressed. I'd be willing to come back for those soufflé cakes though! read more

Absolutely loved this place the milk tea was so good--smooth, not overly sweet, and super satisfying the mango coconut pudding inside was honestly amazing so fresh and flavorful. We also tried the strawberry soufflé cake and it was perfectly soft and fluffy, not heavy at all. If you're looking for those super fluffy Japanese souffle pancakes, this is the place to get 'em. Aside from the pancakes, which are delicious on their own, they have creative toppings like Biscoff and Crème Brûlée and Brown Sugar Boba - those sauces will have you licking the wax off the plates lol. I also appreciate how you can order the drinks at varying degrees of added sweetness - for smoothies 25% is about right for me. They're always coming up with new and seasonal flavors for the drinks as well - you'll have a hard time deciding between a tea, milk tea, smoothie or milk shake. Parking is plentiful in the area; closest garage would be the Hmart one and you can get validation with a purchase in the market. On Sundays, street parking is free and the area is pretty safe during the day - just don't go into the bathrooms at the park nearby. read more

Ordered the pancake soufflé which I was horrified to see that it is in a premade pile. Flat, old and stale. Why not make a fresh one since that's what I'm paying for? Talked to other patrons and they said that's the norm here now and you actually have to ask them for fresh ones. What a joke read more

Today I decided to try the bowls. I got a pink akala - which is the strawberry-guava sorbetto with fresh fruit on top. It is more of a dessert, but the tart fresh fruit, honey, and granola make it feel like a better option than others. At $11, it's not much extra from a plain desert ice cream across the street at SALT. Miss manners says that ice cream in a cup is best eaten with a fork, and it does help a bit with the fruit, so don't be too surprised by the utensil choice. The music is always nice, probably spotify on an anime or k and j pop channel. It's relaxed and a good place to study or wait. It can sometimes be busy, and this time my order got a bit mixed up, but I've filled two stamp cards at this location, and it was the first time that happened. (They added in the ice on auto pilot i think, since the sticker did have no ice on it. But that's fine as I had the bowl to get through first, letting the ice melt some so I could get to the boba easier.) All in all, still as good as when I first went, but checking in to their new things can be just as fun as going with my usuals. read more

"In this world, it's just us..." Sun Tea Mix has been like living my Junior High crush all over again. I've had the chance, been invited many times, yet somehow always didn't get that special moment. My bestie, Kyra, to the rescue since she's a regular and knows this Tea spot like the messy hair on Harry Styles head! She asked if I wanted to go.. well... Holdin' me back Gravity's holdin' me back I want you to hold out the palm of your hand Why don't we leave it at that? Nothin' to say When everything gets in the way Seems you cannot be replaced.. Located in busy Kaka'ako parking available in the building. Near H-Mart if you need a landmark. Upon entering I notice how aesthetically pleasing the setup is... kinda like the designed madness on Harry's hair! Employees are nice, informative and patient, when someone like me is indecisive in what to pick. All good as the menu is separated by types of Teas, i.e. Milk Tea, Fruit Tea, Smoothies, etc. Oh! Since the first paragraph was written a day or two ago... I'm currently finishing it on my second visit. Yea, Harry still vibing lol. First visit I ordered Lilikoi Pineapple Fruit Tea and bestie ordered Mango Fruit Tea! Today's visit I ordered Strawberry Lime Fruit Tea and Kyra ordered Strawberry Fruit Tea! Let's just say we are pleased with how Sun Tea Mix drinks are so refreshing, filled with fruit and even easy on the eyes! Just like Harry! ...you sitting at home on the floor? What kind of pills are you on?" Ringin' the bell And nobody's coming to help Your daddy lives by himself He just wants to know that you're well, oh-oh-oh Bestie and I love coming here, since I'm now a regular, to chat about pop music, baking cookies, judo, and cool things we vibe on. Such a chilling place to be! In the end, I recommend Sun Tea Mix to those who love refreshing drinks and appreciate a place to just enjoy life extra for an hour or so. I can't wait until my next visit... relax in AC on a humid day, talk about life, but of course only with those that move me;) In this world, it's just us You know it's not the same as it was In this world, it's just us... read more

$8 for a simple oolong milk tea with boba. Mink wanted to get out of the house because she's been stuck at home many days due to her ankle injury so she wanted to go have something sweet somewhere new. After looking on Yelp, she found Sun Tea Mix. Parking was a struggle due to how busy they are on the weekends but luckily we found a stall as someone was leaving at the very top before the reserved section started. The stalls are tight so be careful of the ding fairy here. Make sure to get validation when you leave as it covers you for your first hour in the parking garage. This was my second visit here with my first visit being here with Lunch Buddy. I didn't order anything then as I only stayed a few minutes. The interior is spacious and clean. It's very bright and modern. Mink looked at all their pics on Yelp and knew she wanted to order a Strawberry Soufflé and a Matcha Latte w/Boba. Again, I didn't order anything as nothing seemed appealing to me. All the staff looked out of it and didn't really provide good customer service. They were also very hard to hear so we had to ask them to repeat what they said a few times. I asked for a paper towel to wipe the table we wanted to sit on since it was dirty but they pointed me to an almost empty wipes container. They were dead so I'm shocked they didn't go wipe down the table for us. When they finished Mink's order, one of the workers did walk it over to us. It was unexpected and a nice pleasant surprise for us. Mink took her photos then tried the soufflé and had a sip of her latte. She said the soufflé was 4 out of 5 stars and the latte was 3 out of 5 stars. I had some of the soufflé because Mink asked me to finish it. It wasn't too sweet and I liked the fresh fruit on top. I would say it's 3.5 out of 5 stars for me. Something about the soufflé didn't taste right to me but I'm no dessert expert. This is a nice spot to casually have a drink or dessert in the Kakaako area. read more

Sun Tea Mix - Strawberry Soufflé and a Matcha Latte w/Boba - Bubble Tea Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Owned by Joy Chen and Emma Pan, Sun Tea Mix offers Taiwanese-style, made-to-order milk teas, fruit teas, fresh fruit smoothies, panna cotta drinks, and soufflé pancakes; no powders, syrups, artificial colors or flavors are used in their drinks. Fresh fruits are used, and you can customize your drinks from 0% to 100% sweetness. They also import top grade loose-leaf teas from Chile and Taiwan. Sun Tea Mix opened just when the pandemic started in March 2020. After being closed for a couple of months, it offered take-out only, and only recently it has restarted its dine-in option. But despite the pandemic, Sun Tea Mix has survived and is in full gear. Over the past two years, Sun Tea Mix has continuously introduced new flavors of their drinks, with many are on a rotational basis: * Teas: fruit (fruit oolong, fruit green tea, lilikoi and pineapple, orange, lime, berries, lemon black, strawberry lime); crème brulee milk tea with brown sugar boba, strawberry, mango, lilikoi and pineapple, fruit oolong, mango, orange, lime green, grapefruit mojito (non alcohol), white peach oolong milk tea, strawberry lime tea, and others. Their most popular drink is the classic milk tea with brown sugar boba. * Milk and Milk Teas: mango, strawberry, brown sugar boba, avocado milk shake, crème, matcha latte, Jasmine, roasted oolong, and brown sugar. * Smoothies: honeydew, mango, grapefruit, watermelon, tropical lava flow, mango mojito and grapefruit mojitos (non-alcoholic), blueberry, strawberry, pineapple, grape, peach. * Soufflé pancakes: strawberry, classic, crème brulee, brown sugar boba. Note that the pancakes take about 20 min. to make, so order ahead by phone or online so that there's a minimum wait time. You can choose your toppings, such as cheese foam (salty and sweet), whipping cream with gelato; jellies (lychee, coffee, crystal); boba (brown sugar, crystal); and crème brulee. Sun Tea Mix has partnered with Il Gelato in sourcing their gelato as a topping for drinks and soufflé pancakes. Sun Tea Mix offers many promotions, such as discounted prices, especially on holidays: strawberry flavor soufflé pancake (Valentine's); yogurt with strawberry and avocado festive pancakes (Christmas); oreo monster brown sugar boba milk (Halloween), etc. Don't forget to get their reward loyalty stamp card, which provides a free drink for every 10 drinks purchased. So many choices! They have a small sign noting their popular drinks, which is helpful. I ordered the following: * Lilikoi and pineapple tea (oolong tea base). There were generous bits of pineapple chunks and lilikoi seeds in this refreshing drink with requested 50% sweetness that was not overly sweet. I enjoyed it, but fished out the black lilikoi seeds at the end. * Strawberry soufflé pancake. The pancake was soft, light, fluffy, airy, and just melts in your mouth. It was topped with a tasty strawberry glaze with freshly cut strawberry chunks and a few blueberries. Love that the pancake was served in a disposable white box with enough space to eat from. Staff was friendly and accommodating, patiently answering questions if you're here for the first time. Take a seat, and they will bring your order to you. The spacious store interior is very clean, modern, elegant, and painted in white tones. Lots of seats are available for dine-in with teakwood-looking tables and chairs with white seat backing. Each table is nicely adorned with a small white vase with a green plant. You can watch your order being prepared in the open kitchen behind the cashier. They have free WiFi, which makes it a great place to study. Hours of operation are Mon to Sun 11a to 7p. Credit cards accepted. Located between Kira HI and Cho Dang K-Food near SALT, parking is available: metered street parking; validated parking at 440 Keawe behind H Mart (enter from Pohukaina St); and validated parking at 333 Keawe at SALT at Our Kakaako. Parking at the two parking structures will allow you to park free for the 1st hour, $1 within two hours, and $2 within three hours. I look forward to returning to try their various delicious drinks and yummy soufflé pancakes! read more

After a delightful experience at the YEE, I chose Sun Tea Mix as my dessert of choice this afternoon The employees at Sun Tea Mix are so pleasant you can't help but to want to stop in. Of course, the soufflé pancakes was my choice for dessert today. Their beverages are each crafted upon order so there is nothing that can get stale. The entire establishment is so bright and friendly. The tables and chairs are so welcoming I found myself staying there for a few hours. They probably wanted to charge me rent. Their beverages, teas and other fruit drinks are so refreshing. Fortunately for me my office is close by. I could walk in the afternoons to have me a nice cup of refreshing tea. This is a positive thing because parking as anyone who knows the Kakaako area realizes that parking is premium. Regardless of the parking, even if one had to walk it would be a worthwhile journey. I had a tea-riffic experience at Sun Tea Mix! A recent Yelp Elite Event introduced me to this lovely cafe and now it's one of my new favorites! They truly have it down to a tea--a variety of drinks, sweet treats, and a spacious interior. I enjoy Sun Tea Mix's unique drink and topping offerings. Aside from your traditional fruit and milk teas they also have smoothies and other specialty drinks! I tried their White Peach Oolong Pure Tea with Boba. This was the first time that I've seen white peach offered as a flavor at a tea shop. I ordered it with 25% sweetness and found the tea to be light and refreshing with a hint of peach. The boba was chewy and added a nice texture. What drew my friend and I in was how the cafe has indoor seating--compared to other tea shops which grab and go. The interior is clean, spacious, and bright. A perfect place to study or relax at--plus they have WiFi! Service is also fast as our drinks came out within minutes and they validate parking. I parked at H-Mart which was free for an hour with validation. Located in Kaka'ako, Sun Tea Mix is a great place to grab a drink to-go or relax and hang out. The cafe is inviting, the service is efficient, and they have options for everyone! I'm a fan of their fruit teas, smoothies, and soufflé pancakes and can't wait to come back to try their other drinks. read more

Recently missed a YELP event at Sun Tea Mix, I now had it on my radar! Appreciated Yelp Elites Therese and Lyla asking me to join them for a sampling one afternoon which I could not make. They told me how very good it was. Now I really "needed" to check this place out. Had the opportunity to enjoy with five fun friends this past Sunday. We decided to order one of every flavor of their signature souffle pancakes and a variety of drinks. Wow, just wow...those pancakes so delicious and the flavor choices, in drinks as well as pancakes, so very innovative. Souffle pancakes - while all were delicious, my two favorites were the 1) berries and 2) brown sugar boba souffle pancakes. Drinks - I will always enjoy a good watermelon drink. Love that this place allows you to choose the level of sweetness added. The watermelon smoothie was perfect at 25 percent. Though I think I would have preferred it withOUT the crystal jelly and cheese foam that came with it. The drinks are a little pricey at $8 each. That lava flow looked tempting. Do make sure you get your customer loyalty card punched which will allow you a free drink after 10 punches...taking the sting out of the higher prices a little bit. Conveniently located on the same block as H-Mart and sharing partially validated parking with the same, one might find it easier to find parking on the street. Therese, Lyla, let's go! Can't wait until next time. Definitely a highlite in any day. read more
