I would not have time in the morning to take care of it on the way to work. As I'm pulling out of the gas station, I'm realizing that Discount tire is closing in...1 minute! By the time I get there, it's already 6:06 pm. I decided to take a chance. God bless Rafael, who was in the garage in the back, working on someone's car. I politely walked up to him, apologized for interrupting his work, and explained my dilemma. He smiled, stopped what he was doing and walked over to my car with me, and was kind enough to fill my tire. I was so relieved that they were open, that Rafael was there, and that Discount Tire truly cares about its customers. I've had several wonderful experiences with them, especially when it comes to getting air in tires. He also made sure to remind me about their free flat tire repair if I needed it in the future. THIS kind of customer service is why I always choose this business, especially this location! I've written reviews for them before and made sure that I wrote another one. Keep up the great work, and Rafael, continue being a blessing to your community!

I had all four tires replaced on my Tesla at Discount Tire, and unfortunately, my experience has…read morebeen very frustrating. Ever since the installation, I've been dealing with constant air leaks. Every couple of days, one of the tires loses pressure and needs to be refilled. What's even more frustrating is that it's not always the same tire--different tires keep losing air, making it difficult to trust the installation. This has been a huge inconvenience and a waste of time, requiring repeated trips to add air and monitor the tire pressure. I expected better quality workmanship, especially after replacing all four tires.

So to better entertain you, I figured I would just rhyme through it to keep it interesting. They are used tires for goodness sake! Tires, tires, tires everywhere. Some with a patch and some with a tear. You look amongst the stacks of tires in their stock, and you may find some like new which gave me a shock. My only goal was to stop there and repair a flat, but I discovered that these guys offered more than just that. Brake pad replacement service for just 40 bucks! I immediately left to buy some pads from O'Reillly for them to put them on, I mean WTF. That saved me some time in this hot Houston weather, and these guys knocked it out, fixed the flat in half the time altogether. You're not going to end up in long conversations at this spot. They do speak English, but knocking out the work is the priority at the D & B Tire Shop. I've never had to wait long to get services started from the crew, and I've visited now 4 times prior to writing this review. I've purchased 2 used tires from them prior to buying 4 that were new, and those four I bought elsewhere and came to them for installation which saved me lots of money too. So if you need brakes or used tires in order to save yourselves some cash, I recommend D & B Tire shop on Cypress North Houston, but GPS it cause it's easy to pass. Save Money & Prosper.

One small caveat to that is: it doesn't seem to work with handicap plates. I was extremely impressed and pleased with the service and professionalism of everyone at the jones road store. The tires I ordered were not available there till Monday so that's the day I made my appointment for. When I received the notice they were in that next morning (Friday) I called and they said I could come as soon as I wanted to! Hello,  On July 8th, I went to the Discount tire location at…read more9550 Jones rd, Houston, Tx 77065 to have them inspect one of my tires that kept losing air pressure and also to have all my tires rotated.  When I arrived, the technician inspected my tire and told me they didn't find any nails and tired looked fine, he also told me at first they would get my tires rotated but they didn't do it. I walked outside to check on my tire and I was able to spot the nail on my tire, after I pointed out to the technician he proceeded to take my car back in and remove the nail. I asked why they didn't do my tire rotation and he said because my front tires were too worn out and they will have to replace them instead. I took some pictures of my front tires both in and out sides and they didn't look too worn out. They still refuse to rotate them and keep pushing to buy new tires instead.  I spent over an hour just to get my tire fix and they refused to do my tire rotation even thou I had bought the warranty from discmount tire. I am very dissapointed with the service level received and I will not be doing business with Discount tire ever again.

The service here is top notch and the waiting room isn't crowded and junky like most other tire places. I don't like that they require you to show your driver's license when using a card. Almost makes you feel criminal. I'm sure they have their reasons but... I don't like that. Nevertheless, I like this place 10 times more than any other I've ever visited. Rotations and balances are free when you buy a new set and that lasts for the length of the life of the tire. I grant them 5 stars despite their posted offering of a Star Bucks gift card.
