I can always depend on this location to display kindness and compassion! I had to pick up my grandchildren from school and daycare, desperately had to get gas, and realizing that my tire pressure was low. I would not have time in the morning to take care of it on the way to work. As I'm pulling out of the gas station, I'm realizing that Discount tire is closing in...1 minute! By the time I get there, it's already 6:06 pm. I decided to take a chance. God bless Rafael, who was in the garage in the back, working on someone's car. I politely walked up to him, apologized for interrupting his work, and explained my dilemma. He smiled, stopped what he was doing and walked over to my car with me, and was kind enough to fill my tire. I was so relieved that they were open, that Rafael was there, and that Discount Tire truly cares about its customers. I've had several wonderful experiences with them, especially when it comes to getting air in tires. He also made sure to remind me about their free flat tire repair if I needed it in the future. THIS kind of customer service is why I always choose this business, especially this location! I've written reviews for them before and made sure that I wrote another one. Keep up the great work, and Rafael, continue being a blessing to your community! read more

Discount Tire - Bay Area - Tires Near Me - Cypress, Texas

This tire store goes the extra mile for customer service. They have lots of tire options logically structured on their website at fair prices in order to help you select the right tires for your needs, tastes, car and driving habits. There is always a guy on duty to air up people's tire as modern cars typically have warning systems in the vehicle advising if pressures get too low or high. I have frequently taken advantage of this service. The staff is quick, courteous seems very motivated. read more

Requested to have tires replaced. Spoke with James . He told me they slow at that time that I could bring my car in and have tires changed today. They replaced my tires in record time. James was pleasant and very accommodating. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! read more

I've gone to Discount Tire twice, and each time the staff is so professional, honest, and willing to help. The waiting room is clean and bathrooms are clean. They are just friendly people. I went in just to get my brakes checked and the service man told me they seem to be fine and sent me on my way. I'm truly grateful for honest people. read more

Waited 45 minutes and still no service. Arrived at 10:11 and it's not scheduled for bay times til 11:20 am and for completion at 12:20 pm. So I went somewhere else, Firestone Complete across the way. So I ended up going across the way and they took me in less than 5 minutes. However, they told me I needed to repair the tire and sold me a tire for $200-$300 dollars the cheapest being $200. I went back to Discount tire and they repaired the nail puncture hole FOR FREE!!! So after being inpatient, turns out Discount Tire is the best, just be prepared to wait. :). read more

Had an appt today at 8am and Drake came out to assist. Very nice gentleman and courteous. Kevin, the store manager made it a point to come and speak to me ensuring my experience was going well. Initial quote was close to two hours for tire rotation and balance along with helping me with a nail in my tire. I live across the street and time was not a big deal. Kevin had my car service immediately and was done in 45 min. These guys are always amazing and Kevin is a wonderful store manager. read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon, I did not book an appointment but since I was in the area after going to the park nearby, I decided it was a good time to go get my tires rotated. I got checked in quickly and was informed that it'll be about 45 mins. They are nice about having your leashed dog inside, he did very well. I think my car was ready in about 35 minutes and one of the team members checked the air pressure for all of my tires prior to handing me the keys, which was very nice since I did have some low tire pressure alerts. I do like how if you purchase tires here, they offer free tire rotations. This location was clean, professional, and provided a timely service. read more

Ran over a nail and drove 40 minutes, while losing air to get to a dt location closer to home. The guy at dt told me some bs about something eating my tire from the inside bc the sidewall had a thin lite, line on it from driving 30-40 minutes. Smh. You'll get more business by using honesty and integrity than you will with the lure of a kind of free service (tire patch) but not really a free service routine. read more

Sent my wife there on a busy Monday morning. Had a blown tire. Before they opened at 8:00 they were already helping her. They spoke with me on the phone about different options. I requested info on a few brands and was led to the right choice. She wasn't there 45 minutes to replace 2 tires, and put the spare back in our messy trunk. Tires were appropriately priced for what the market looks like. If you think it's expensive, you're getting good value. Very helpful very speedy service. I am shocked to be saying these things in today's age. Will travel further than my local store to come here for my truck. I can't remember who helped us, but it was on the gray 2024 Camry. You know who you are, thank you! read more

Discount tire provides you with excellent service. I had all of my tires very low on air, and it took me just a simple and free drive-through to get my tires checked and air filled. Staff is all very friendly and appreciated how on point the service was. It took as short as five minutes on a saturday. The line goes very fast. Highly recommended if you are a duscount tire customer and need the pressure on your tires checked, there isn't any better place. read more

I recently went just to get my air checked and the young man informed me I had a nail in my tire. Since I have not drove my car for 2 weeks I knew it was a slow leak. I planned on coming back the next day. I came back the following day and the wait was 3 hours!!! That to me that was crazy. I scheduled an appointment for Friday. I came on Friday for my appointment. The young man said they would have me in and out in 46 minutes. (Without an appt. the wait was 2 hours) I was surprised when the guy came up to me and said they were almost finished with my car and it was only 20 minutes! I really appreciate not having to wait a long time and for them telling me about the nail to begin with. I will only go get work done here with an appt. The guys never stop working here. This location is always super busy. read more

I had a punctured tire and I really appreciate them for helping me without even charging for it! They are awesome group of people!

Don't come here if you want tire repair. It's a free service so they try everything in their power to not to patch tires. Everytime I come here they reject me. Then I go to the next place that does it with no problem. Just go to the place that charges you for repair. Don't waste your time and gas read more

Service here sucks guy says 45 min max 2 hours later truck is still in the lot Staff gawking at girls that come in and service there vehicles immediately this place needs new management , shop guys damaged one of my rims and refused to do anything about it they are careless refused to admit they damaged my wheel As far as I am concerned I will not use them again for any services read more

I came here about a month ago and purchased 4 new tires. About two weeks later, I got an indicator light telling my that my tire pressure was low. Turns out I ran over a nail. I came in today thinking that if I had a slow leak, perhaps they could patch it. The technician, Dylan, was very helpful. He saw that my tire was covered under the warranty and replaced it at no charge. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! Thank you, Dylan! read more

Made a 1pm appointment on a Wednesday, for Friday. Arrived there around 12;45pm and checked in with my phone and went to the counter. Guy there told me my vehicle would be ready by 1:45pm. They did not get it in the bay, until 1:40pm. In the meantime someone came in 15 minutes after I checked in. They were in and out before my vehicle was pulled into a bay. Another arrived a half hour after I checked in. He was in and out before I my vehicle was ready. My vehicle wasn't ready until 2:45pm. I was notified it was finished at 2:19. They didn't pull it up when it was completed I had to look in the bay area to see if it was still in. It was parked clear at the rear of the parking lot. Asked why was parked it so far away. Said some BS they probably didn't have any spots. So I had inquire about and ask why it wasn't brought to the drop off area. Won't go to this store again. read more

Wow...these guys took care of me. I've been coming here for some time and they let me know today that they really do appreciate my business. If you value your time. Find somewhere else. Came here at 8am as they were opening for a warranty certificate replacement. They assured me they located my tire after telling me I'd have to get a different size/style installed due to a discontinued one for an awd vehicle. Left my wheel for them to install the tire on. Was told at noon my ordered tire will arrive. Went in at 11:30am asking about the delivery status. They said my tire will be there shortly and has been picked up. I asked them to please call me when it comes in because I had work later that day and could not waist time. Called them after 1pm and was told my tire has not shown up, that they will have to order it for tomorrow. Waited longer and called after 4pm because I was ensured it was arriving today. Nobody contacted me. The first person inside who helped me, never alerted anybody about this tire being installed on my wheel, causing their other employees to look around coming up empty handed, wasting additional time of mine while trying to figure out what happened. With getting these new tires installed previously by discount tire, today it was required to break off three of my wheel studs, one tech with some audacity gave me attitude back while I was asking if they can please use hand tools instead of the pneumatics to avoid breaking further wheel studs. After having to break off one final wheel nut he wouldn't give me their replacement credit again to get this last one fixed while saying rudely "Well we didn't break it". Causing yet additional time loss now because I have to head back to their replacement partner for the second time, but this time paying out of my pocket for that error. After returning to get my car finished one guy thankfully came out to move it into the bay, although was in a rush and wouldn't give me time to speak up about how I'd like a rotation and which psi I wanted my tires filled to. This other inside guy who was forced to stepped in for the first man that must've gone home was aggravated I asked for a rotation on my tires after he only put one guy in charge of my car. Very unpleased with the run around and disrespect this location showed me. Like I said, find a different establishment and save yourself the major headache. Was not able to leave with my car finished and roadworthy until 5:50pm. Minutes shy of 10 hours later. In my opinion that's extremely unacceptable, additionally I had to call off work just for them to get my car finished. 0 stars should be an option here! But credit does need to be given for those last two employees who helped me. They finally got everything all sorted out and taken care of. (Update; While asking for the rotation I specifically requested to please put the new tire on the rear and move the rears forward onto the fronts. At 5:40pm after finally leaving their shop, while looking at my car I notice they put my new tire on the front instead of the rear like I asked. So once again I had to drive back to them on the same day. My review shows a few detrimental examples of communication errors between the employees at this location). read more

Just purchased a brand new car about a month ago and already a bad tire. Try avoiding Hwy 290 with all this construction going on at the moment, after visiting multiple tire shops they all said they've been seeing the same issue come up a lot more often ever since construction started -- nails puncturing tires. I arrived at Discount Tire on a Monday at around 9:30ish. It wasn't terribly busy but I think I got there just in time because business was picking up quick. The Store Manager, Jason Curlee, is the one who attended to me from beginning to end. He was very kind, and showed empathy towards my situation. The damage appeared to be minimal but after having it looked at by the tire service techs, they determined my tire cannot be saved. It sucks big time since my car is less than a month old, but what can I do? Nada. He offered to have my tire replaced for a reasonable cost. The tire wasn't completely identical to the one I had before but it was the same brand and same class, just better according to Jason. I was offered a road hazard protection plan, they call it 'certificate', on the new tire but what kinda wowed me is the fact that they extended that to my other tires that came with my car that I did not even get from Discount Tire. That's awesome! The whole process took about 45 minutes. Quickest service I've ever had at a tire shop. I highly recommend this location and I'll be sure to come here for any future tire nightmares. read more

This location is a busy location but they are helpful workers here. Even if it was busy I was seen in a good amount of time compared to normal. Local Discount Tires are suffering and today I placed an order for 2 tires with 3 cars being worked on when I got there. Two left and 1 remained - a high dollar car arrived via tow service and a Chinese national walks in and gets her car in stall before my car and I had been there at least 20 minutes. Total time I was there was 30 min. Angered me when I saw that a kid was in my car and had been in it. As my salesperson is telling me, he was driving my car up "for me" is when I realize he had been trying to jump on my radio to track me. So ...................... it was obvious the Chinese was some sort of boss to the staff. Bad staff bad customer service read more

Picked up a nail in my tire, showed up here at Discount Tire literally 30 min before closing and they were still really busy. All the guys in the bay were working on something, nobody standing around. I was greeted & assisted right away. The handsome young took my information, walked me out to my vehicle to see the nail but it was at the bottom of the tire. He said, no worries we'll pull it in & take care of it, and they did! These guys were all very happy and very professional. I would definitely return for a set of tires from these guys! Thank you guys! read more

I am the Epitome of a car enthusiast. I say this first and foremost because I am very proud of my cars and I drive expensive cars with extremely expensive wheels. Brandon Hefner has been an employee of several locations around Houston and he is hands down the best staff member discount employs in the Houston market. When he changes locations so do I. I travel literally 20 miles each way across town to his store simply because I would not let any other discount employee touch my cars PERIOD. He is never to busy for a customer in need and he is always helpful polite and very educated in his profession. In the last week he has had his hands on 3 different sets of my extremely expensive 3 piece forged wheels. This is a combined value of 15k in wheels and that is not an exaggeration of value for dramatic effects that is me simply illustrating the trust instilled and the care of service given. This review is obviously more focused on a specific member of the brand then the actual brand however credit given where credit is due in my opinion. Congratulations discount tire for landing this amazing employee. He has kept me a loyal customer for over 5 years. read more

5 Star plus. I purchased 4 tires online and scheduled for service appointment. I was there for about 20 minutes.

Got my tires done in May and had a sensor keep coming on in my car for the last few weeks. Took my car in and was greeted immediately upon walking in, and promptly helped! An employee came out to the car with me, reset the sensors, checked the air pressure, then topped off the air in all the tires. I believe his name was Cullen. Overall great experience per usual!! read more

I just stopped in here by happenstance. My tire pressure light was on for both tires on the passenger side. Even though I didn't buy my tires here, we have been at this location in the past for other services, so I thought I could just stop in and ask them to put air in my tires. Little did I know this is a service they provide to everyone. there was actually a lane dedicated to air pressure check, and there was indeed a line. The line moved very quickly, and the attendant who took care of my tires was very well mannered and friendly. I appreciate the fact that this service is offered free of charge to anyone and everyone. With the weather changing into cooler temperatures, I think a lot of air pressure tire lights are going to come on, and it's nice to know that there are still companies out there that provide a very valuable service for free. It is raining outside today and I did not want to get out in the rain, nor do I honestly know anything about tires, and how much to add, so the fact that this gentleman very kindly stood in the rain and added air to the two tires that definitely needed it, but then want the extra mile and checked the other two, and added a little bit of air in both of those as well. All in the rain. I will definitely recommend discount tire, and next time we are in the need of new tires, I believe discount tire is where we will head. Kudos to this company. read more

I came by here because I was in the area sort of.. but don't waste your time with people who are just half..assin their service. I get it discount can sorta have deals on tires. And the whole credit card is cool warranty and such.. But I wanna start off from the guy John the fill up my air guy.. came off rude just to fill my air tires..asked just a simple question do you hear a rattle?.. he just responds I don't know anything about that or we dont do service on cars on anything about engine...well ok I get it you only service for tires and strictly tires. And know nothing about a car. Boy bye! Found someone else inside to take care of my tires and service I had a nail and I guess a bad tires. Swapped ..etc paid. My deal. He was a little helpful. Got a message car was ready. Not it was not. Lies. I was sitting in front my car was still sitting there. So then I already went to 2 places. And I realized my tire lock isnt in my car. I wish I understood why people still come here or why I gave them yet another chance. My tire had a slow leak and I had an appointment to get to. It wasn't completely flat. As it had enough air for me to make it 2 miles to this store. I asked a man if he could fill it up just so I could make it to my appointment and back as I couldn't wait 2 hours for a tire to be put on. He said it was "too flat and on the ground". *Excuse my language but that has to be the most bullshit excuse I've ever heard. So I drove it to the gas station and filled it up just fine! If your techs can't fill up a tire that isn't even completely flat that's a whole new level of incompetence. Due to this I did not return to discount to purchase my tire. Go to TIRE LINK in north Houston. It's a drive, but Herman is the best. They have you in and out. And they actually know what customer service is. read more
