I was a previous customer of Jake's at the Copperfield location, so it was great to see him here--he's always wonderful to work with. I also appreciated that the mechanic came out to check in, confirm everything was going well, and provide an estimated completion time. Avoid this location! Slimy sales tactics, "I will comp this one if you buy 2 other tires". It was a simple road hazard replacement. I am getting close to needing a new set of tires, sure, but should not have to purchase additional tires to get a one replaced that was well within the coverage window. All the tires are above 5/32" I left the truck overnight since the tire is an order in. They called the next morning saying it was ready for pickup. When I arrived hours later they hadn't touched it yet. They actually had lost my keys, and my work order. It was eventually found but then they broke the TPMS sensor and didn't tell me, said they rotated the tires and didn't. Absolutely awful experience read more

I had the best experience at this Discount Tire. I started driving out to Waller when it started raining and my car was swerving on the freeway so I turned around and went to this location to check my tires. They were super busy but all the workers were still very polite and working through getting everyone taken care of. When it was my turn Ali helped me and said my front two tires were very worn. It was inevitable I needed two new tires. Ali was so helpful, I told him it was probably my fault because I didn't do a tire rotation since my son bought be the set of four for my birthday a year and a half prior. He gave me a discount on the warranty and said he would try to get me out as soon as possible. He got hit done within 45 minutes and I was out of there! Great service. Thank you so much!! read more

Most Discount Tires are so busy, they don't have to care about individual service to keep afloat, yet this location is the all around best one I've been too. And seeing the branch manager willing to get in the bay and get his hands dirty to help the crew during a rush is a testament to that. Hitting 30-50k miles a year for 10 years, I've been to Discount Tires all around Texas to work on all my vehicles, from lifted F150's, O&G field trucks, to my Hellcat. And like many Discount Tires, this store has as much business as it wants. Yet, being at location enough to give an honest assessment of shop, crew, and management, I firmly believe the branch Manager Jake has this location better run, with the hardest working employees, while doing what's fair and right business wise, as any store I've ever been too. It's the most amazing phenomenon when you go to Discount Tires, no matter the condition of the set you have, they will always need to be replaced. I've had two really bad experiences at this location in 2020. The first time the manager didn't acknowledge that I was first in line for service on my daughter's Honda one Saturday morning. After arriving 45 minutes before opening and then hearing that I would have an hour wait for service, I went to Tomball Honda and received prompt and courteous service. Then today they took a working tire off of my son's Jeep and gave a lame excuse why they couldn't put it back for "safety reasons." They basically held my son hostage giving him no other option but to buy an overpriced tire. Had a tire low in air. Maybe the tire had a slow leak or a nail that punctured the tread. Went to Discount Tire on a busy Saturday afternoon; they were slammed. Yet the service tech said he'd have the vehicle inside within 30 minutes; a promise he kept. I walked across the street and grabbed an Americano. By the time I returned they were parking my vehicle in the lot. Great timing. The tech greeted me with my keys. He said they'd found a small nail, which they removed and patched the leak. I've been coming to a discount tire since I've had a vehicle of my own. Between all the years and all the vehicles, I have to say that they have the best tires and deals in town. This location is my current "go-to". Everyone there is great. Never had a bad experience. Wasn't too happy with how much pieces of round rubber cost, but it's a necessary evil. They are always busy but never swamped. Never had to wait more than a hour for a pop in tire rotation and balance. Waiting room really needs wifi or a tv. Because it gets a bit boring in there. I do like that they have free water bottles while you wait. But the boredom thing takes over. Thank God for cell phones. After a blowout on 290, the idiots at Wal-Mart had rounded off a lug nut smooth they couldn't get it off, then kicked me out of their store at 7 o'clock at night in a sketchy part of town. Had to leave my truck unprotected overnight because of their stupidity. Discount Tire not only got the rounded nut off, but they saved the bolt AND offered two tires for almost the same price as Wal-Mart wanted for one. Breaking News: Wal-Mart sucks. Made an appointment to get my tires rotated. They called a few minutes after dropping it off and said they couldn't rotate because the front tires were so worn. I ended up needing all new tires which I was expecting. They replaced them and my car was ready within an hour.
