The $199 doesn't get deducted it's what they charge just to come to your home.I purchased my Hot Springs hot tub 20+ years ago and have never been charged for them to come out to my house. Something has changed at this place. They use to be a Hot Springs dealer only but appears no longer. If you purchase anything from them beware of these fees they started charging.

I kept having my water tested and it seems to be fine but my pool was still green. I got this business name from Home Advisor. He came out, told me my salt cell needed to be replaced and my DE filter needed to be cleaned. He cleaned my DE filter, which was a mess. Previous pool services had been telling me wrong on how to take care of a DE filter and it had way too much DE powder because of what I had been told. The best thing he did was tell me to order my salt cell online, saving me money, guided me on what to look for and showed me how to replace it myself. I asked about my vinyl liner and pool heaters. He advised me on replacing my vinyl liner and how much it should cost, way lower than what I had been quoted by other services. He told me having a pool heater really wasn't that cost effective and most people didn't turn them on because of the cost of the natural gas. If you don't want to be ripped off, overcharged and have someone fix your pool system instead of running around trying to replace things all the time, call Mike. I will now not call anyone else.

He did a very thorough diagnostic inspection on the first visit ($125); ordered all replacement parts and returned in a timely fashion to install them. He refilled the spa and waited to make certain everything was operating well. Considering the amount of time he invested with both visits, his labor rate was very reasonable in my opinion. He sent me a full refund for the amount I paid back in 2023. I've seen many five star reviews elsewhere and I think he's driven to maintain that. While I appreciate the refund, the casual disregard to repair the leaks on this installation took a ton of my time, and I'm certainly out more than what I was refunded, but I have learned a lot in this 2 year long process. I'm just writing to relay my experience as to inform the next customer, not to damage a local company's reputation as that is not my intent at all. I wish them all the best- I'm sure he'd be great at a much higher price point than that of mine.

Their service costs are reasonable, and I am very appreciative that Samhain just came out to do leak detection. For $59.50 he located some skimmer leaks and sealed them.
