6 days and $350+ in chemicals later, I am still working to remove the algae from my pool. WaterWizard returned to "fix" the situation on Friday evening. During their return visit they became aggressive and defensive, and continued to find ways to blame me for all of the issues. They even went so far as to accuse me of conspiring with the previous homeowners to write another unfavorable review under a false account. At that point I was so uncomfortable I just wanted them to leave. The pool looked just as bad if not worse the next day. I had my pool water tested at Leslie's Sandy Springs in the morning (ironically, this was at the suggestion of water wizard) and based on the test results and photos, Leslie's confirmed that I do in fact have yellow / green algae. They also assured me that algae does not suddenly pop up overnight without having been introduced to the pool by an outside source. You can even see in my review history how nice my pool looked just a week prior to Water Wizard showing up. If they had just admitted fault and fixed the situation, I would have been completely understanding. Instead, it's been nothing but denial, excuses, and pointing the finger at me. Not only was my Labor Day weekend ruined from having to deal with this, but I'm out $500+ from the whole ordeal. read more

Water Wizard "serviced" my pool yesterday, which included skimming the pool with dirty tools, and breaking the tools we had on hand. Within hours of their service, the pool turned green with an obvious algae problem. When we reached out to Water Wizard regarding the issue, they told us that (a), we had to drain the pool, (b), there was no way the algae came from them (despite the pool being completely clear before they showed up), and (c) the pool turning green is a natural reaction to cleaning the pool, as it kicks up algae and debris. Total scum, avoid these company at all costs. Our Labor Day weekend plans are now ruined because of Water Wizard's lazy attempt to clean our pool and ensuing damage. read more

Really disappointed in the service provided. We had bi-weekly routine cleaning for our pool with them and repeatedly had to ask for water chemical results (which seemed to have been made up because we would be home the whole time and didn't see them using any type of testing), at times I even tested the water after they left myself and it did not match to what they were saying or it was completely out of balance. Sometimes they would come really late in the evenings where it would get dark outside and they'd continue skimming the surface in the dark or have to return the next day. The pump basket was not emptied out pretty much every time. And they could not get our pool equipment valves to be correctly positioned so that we wouldnt have all the water from our spa draining out or at times none of the drains or filtration to work for days causing a bunch of debris to pile up. They failed to add the necessary chemicals and ultimately we ended up with algae in our pool which cost us quite a bit of $ to remove and fix ourselves. Would not recommend- plus the girl seemed to have some type of attitude and snarky response to anything said to her that would push blame away onto something else, including us. read more

We hired them for opening our pool, and we were planning to have them to service our pool. After paying them over 1000 dollars later for opening the pool, we decided not to have them for servicing our pool due to cost concerns (potential extras not included in the original quotes/estimates). After paying 375 for removing pool cover and initial cleaning, we were told they would charge 100 dollar an hour for deep cleaning. We got a little concerned that they would not give us a cost number, instead just an hourly rate. So when they showed up again and saw our pool again, we asked how long it would take. On the spot then, we were given an estimate of 2-3 hours, most likely two hours. Bottom line was that we ended up paying like 500 in addition for something that was supposed to be most likely 200 or 200-300. They brought a pump to do the cleaning, but it did not work (later they claimed that one of our outlets was not working, while on the spot we tested with IPhone charger confirming it's working. And we had additional outlets outside or inside our house that were also working). Then they used our own pump and skimmer to suck the bottom of the pool, which resulted in clogging at least one of our skimmers. As a result, more time was charged to us. Upon finishing, we asked if we could get a slight relief due to something not caused by us. Instead, the owner started blaming us for "faulty" outlets, and she got rather angry over the phone. I could now completely sympathize with one of the reviewers' earlier comment on how issues were blamed on customers when things went awry. Given the above experience, we are afraid of having them to service our pool due to unforeseen issues, that may not be our fault, yet resulting in much more costs to us. read more

Waterwizard was able to come same-day to drain my pool after a terrible storm in the Atlanta area which resulted in mud being washed into our pool due to runoff from our neighbor. I was worried the pool surface would be stained from Georgia's red clay so they dispatched a team to come immediately as an emergency job. These guys are responsive, fast, honest and reliable. Water wizard did a great job of taking our green algae pool to crystal clear. They even diagnosed some issues that our last pool company failed to inform us of make the appropriate replacements. Contracting a reliable company to do business with has been a pain for the past couple of years so we are very happy to have found water wizard. They have been extremely responsive and transparent. I had been dealing with a yucky green pool off and on for almost two years! My home warranty company sent 4-5 pool companies out to our home to do " Green to Clean " services but we would always end right back up with a cloudy blue pool the next day. It still wasn't swim friendly and we had lost all hope that we'd ever have a crystal blue pool again. Water Wizard came in on a Green to Clean request as well , but this time was totally different. They didn't just put chemicals in our pool and leave us with a cloudy mess to deal with they found the problem and fixed it!!! Im delighted to report our pool has been restored to its former glory.
