I wasn't even asking them to come back out, just giving feedback. I honestly feel they used me during the slow season just to make money. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Brandon replied promptly asking for pictures and a description of what was happening when I turned on the pump. Brandon then sent a quote for $600 for pool pump repair and $750 for filter sand exchange. When I questioned how he could diagnose and quote a cost without actually looking at the pump, he stated he was going off what I told him and the video I sent. He then asked for more photos and attempted to confirm a date to come out. I told him I wasn't comfortable with this method of hiring a contractor and would much rather have a technician come out, INSPECT the problem and be available for questions. He said he understood and I didn't hear from him again. Turns out the actual repair involved replacing the O ring and tightening loose screws which was MUCH less than the sky high quote he provided. The first day he came to our house he taught us the basics of how salt water pools work and then he taught us and showed us stuff about of equipment we have from the previous owners. He even offered to fix a piece of our equipment for us. He's extremely knowledgeable and very nice. He also put in time to serve our country which I am grateful for. Despite multiple calls and emails, they were largely unresponsive. When we finally reached them, they agreed to a monthly maintenance plan. However, beyond superficial cleaning, they failed to resolve major issues. The pool loses water, makes strange noises, and the hot tub empties itself. They sent a cleaner who had no clue how to diagnose or explain the issue. On my second call, a manager named John promised a resolution but only offered vague updates. He also addressed me inappropriately, calling me "brother," then abruptly ended the call. In summary, YammyPool has ignored critical issues, provided no solutions, and continues to charge us while leaving the system malfunctioning. We expect a prompt, professional resolution or we will escalate further.
