I don't know where to begin. Greg was more than eager to provide stellar service from the start. However, once you've become a customer, things seem to go south. As an aside, the first time I met Greg, he appeared to have concerns over bad reviews. I should have known... I have been a customer for almost five years (yearly spend near ($5K-$6K), never questioning an invoice, always agreeing to whatever needs to be serviced, etc. However, should you deviate off a path of requesting something be attended to, such as a skimmer issue, blown bulb, or just a routine issue/concern, Greg tends to have an abrasiveness that I have never encountered in business. As of today, I finally fired Greg. Shame on me for waiting so long. As a business owner, I do not understand how he "appears" to get away with his attitude and have a viable business. At one point, I ask Greg to replace the "flapper" on our skimmer. He directed me to Amazon to replace it myself. If I am paying someone a substantial amount of money to maintain a pool and don't mind being billed, why would you tell a customer that? The final straw today was when he replaced a bulb in the spa last week, which is no longer working. His response was an electrician contact card via text. According to his expert opinion, it was the fixture (an additional $800 on the $340 I had already spent. Not that it could have been a bad (New) bulb. I might buy into that theory should the second bulb blow. He said he was sorry, and I proceeded to terminate his services...all over the fact that a second bulb and little labor could have saved the account. Mind-boggling. read more

Unlike some other companies Greg was prompt in returning my call about cleaning my filthy pool. While he wasn't able to service my pool because of commitments to other current customers, he was very helpful by recommending other company better suited to my needs. Greg was incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. In an age of declining customer service and lack of response from other companies he was a most welcome breath of fresh air. I can't comment on his pool cleaning ability but I believe his customer service skills show he knows what he's doing. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pool service company and would use his services myself when I haven't put myself in a rush situation. read more

I love pinnacle pool service. Since our initial meeting, everything has been no pressure. We just bought our first house and we had Greg come out to inspect it and see if everything was working properly. I think it was about 100 for the inspection, he noted there was a problem with the pump, came out and fixed it for a small fee. After we were ready to go, they have come out biweekly to clean and maintain. It's always been whatever level of service we need they are here to provide, no contract needed. Great experience! My pool had been opened by another company, but they did not finish the job. I contacted Pinnacle and Greg text me back right away. They sent someone out the very next day (Tuesday) when I told them I needed the pool by the weekend if possible. There were several issues involving a malfunctioning Polaris and several problems they solved quickly and efficiently. Car'ron and his helper Ron held my hand through the entire process (as a very nervous new pool owner,) explained how everything worked and made sure I felt confident to take care of the pool in between their weekly visits. What was so wonderful was they came out 3 times in the course of a few days to make sure it would be up and running. I appreciate a company who is willing to go above and beyond to meet your needs. WOW!!!! I returned home from a week long trip yesterday and discovered that my usually beautiful saltwater pool was GREEN!! I immediately seeked the help of a professional pool maintenance company. I (randomly) called Pinnacle Pool Services and spoke with Greg. He instructed me on the immediate steps I needed to take in order to shock my pool. Honestly, I was expecting him to respond with saying he would send out a technician, so when he gave me advice over the phone I was pleasantly shocked! disappointed and irate would be putting it kindly. not only did the cleaning techs not perform all things promised but the last visit was appalling in that he actually walked all the way across my infinity ledge because he was too lazy to walk down the stairs to the the basin. this was unacceptable for two reasons - one being liability in the event of a fall but possible damage to my tiles. the response from the owner himself was to say he'll no longer be servicing my pool, he's short of technicians and it's out of their way anyway. now that's got to be the worst handling I've come across in some time. We've had weekly and bi-weekly service from this company for a few years now, and they're great. They blow the deck clear every time and leave the pool spotless. We direct bill to a credit card, so it was getting hard keeping track of which weeks billed. We asked them to itemize our bills, and just like that the statements were itemized. Very helpful. Now... it's still a business. They'll charge you more for salt, acid, etc than what you'd pay at the hardware store or pool shop. And they weren't jumping for joy when we had some work done recently, and we went with a better estimate. read more

Last week we had our pool acid washed by Pinnacle Pools. Other than some streaking we were satisfied with the work that they performed. After they left we noticed that our pool lights, which were working before their service, were not working anymore. I called and left a message which was returned with the message that they could come by and check for a rate of $95/hr. I then called back and spoke with Greg who said that his people didn't touch the lights, (although they were sitting on the pool deck when I walked by) but whatever his people did, he knows they did it right. We were told to check the breaker which we did and it did not correct the problem. We were also told that part of the price that we would be paying included balancing the pool after the refill. 3 gallons of muratic acid were added along witn 50 pounds of calcium. There was no call or follow up on PH and Calcium levels in the pool. We had to add 2 more gallons of muratic acid and 150 pounds of calcium to balance the pool. Needless to say that we are disappointed in the service provided as well as the way I was spoken to on the phone. Now, we will have to pay someone to come out and fix the lights that no longer come on. I would not recommend this company to anyone owning a pool. read more

We have had service from pinnacle for 2 years, and have not had one complaint. The pool is always clean and the chemicals are balanced. The only thing we have to do, is enjoy it. Nick (our regular pool guy) is friendly and knowledgeable. Greg (the owner) has always been prompt and works hard to make sure his customers are happy. UPDATE ON PAST REVIEW: Beginning last summer, and continuing into this one, we started to notice a decline in service and in quality of work. The last straw for me happened yesterday when i asked if we could move our bi-weekly cleaning day from Monday to Friday because we are having guests over this weekend. I was told that they would still come on Monday, and if i wanted the pool cleaned on Friday that would be an additional charge of $65. We have asked them to change the day in the past without a problem. I would not recommend this company to anyone, as the service is not for the customer. I have plenty of other reasons that have lead me to the decision to cancel their services, and hire a different company. Far too many to state here. I would recommend swimming in a swamp, before allowing them to touch your pool. read more

After I purchased the home, I contacted Greg again to open the pool. We corresponded over the weekend to schedule an appt. I used these peeps when I first bought my house to look at the pool. Of course, everything needed repair, replace,something. I did what I could afford based on priority. 45 days later I called to schedule more if the listed items to be done and they couldn't remember me or my pool. Sounded like the guy was in a job so I tried to be patient and explain what he said I needed to replace. At this time he told me he doesnt recommend doing that and I should completely replace the filter and of course the price was triple. I was incensed. I'm a new homeowner and the house came with a pool. We were sort of managing but after coming home from a weekend away to a bright green pool, I called Pinnacle Pools. They were the second company I called, but they actually picked up. They scheduled me in for the next morning, I got a phone call 20 minutes prior to arrival. Tom was very informative. He explained everything from the basics of pool maintenance to how to deal with my green and cloudy pool. He drew on the pipes of our filter so we know what valves to close and keep open. Everything started out well - with exception of the removal of our chlorinator. Said we didn't need it - we'd just purchased it. He goes with the flotation device. At any rate - the summer went great - closing and opening - bam! Pool covered with stain. Greg said - get Jack's Blue stuff and Natural Chemistry Stain remover, WOW - worked like a charm. Directions say - DO NOT SHOCK for 72 hrs. One of his guys came the next day and despite what we told him - he shocked the pool. They have POOR communication between employees !!! It was like milk for almost 2 weeks. Yes, Yes Greg had his guys come every other day - then every day - adding flocculant 2 - 3 times. He said he'd get it right - then dump us. He got it clear HOWEVER, the sides are still stained now. We've had this pool since 77' - NEVER had this problem. He says stain is bad this year - but I've checked with SEVEN (7) vinyl lined pool owners (friends) - including the next door neighbor who had no problems this year. He says it iron in the pool - folks this is NOT well water - it's City of Roswell location - FULTON CO water. I'm being told it's something they added at close. I'll never know - BEWARE. read more

I'm a first time home buyer, on top of that, potentially buying my first home with a swimming pool. I knew nothing about pools. I called Pinnacle Pool Services and Greg picked up. After talking to him on the phone, I knew he was "the one". But just in case, I called another company and they charged twice as much. Plus Greg sounded very knowledgeable so even if money wasn't a factor, I would've went with him any way. I called on Thursday and we literally had him come out on Friday morning. He was very punctual and very thorough with his work. After he was done with the inspection, he emailed me the report with the prices on how much it would cost to repair. The report was simple but thorough and easy to comprehend. He called me after he sent the report and verbally explain everything to me as well. I was overwhelmed but he was very patient. He pointed out the must do's on the list, but from experience, I learned that everything that he listed is a "must do" other wise it wouldn't be on the list. You don't do it now, you'll have to do it in a year or so, and those problems may lead to bigger problems if left untreated. I do highly recommend Pinnacle Pool Services and I'll definitely ask for Greg. He really does have his customers in his best interest. read more

This company service used to be good once upon a time, since they grow their business by adding more homes for services, their service quality went down they can't keep your pool clean enough as less labor and more pools to clean, they also cheat on chemicals, my pool tells me when its green. Well, if you are fine with missed appointments and lack of written estimate... at first we accepted it but in hindsight, we should not have. I did have to call him back as quality was an issue when he repaired our skimmer. repaired a leak and a year later he is back out because he was not thorough. read more
