Ronnie picked up the call and mentioned that our house (Sandy Springs) is out of their service route, which is unfortunate. Updating this review because Ronnie reached back out to me after my initial review and I was very impressed with how he handled it. He was very apologetic and accepted full responsibility for how things transpired. He did end up refunding me the diagnostic fees because he felt he "did not earn it" (his own words). We started using Top-Notch 8 months after our pool was built. The pool builders used another pool maintenance company to install the pumps/plumbing with the set up of the pool and we weren't happy with a few of the services and had plumbing issues. After having the original company out to fix problem after problem and not getting resolution, it was time to change. Top-Notch not only fixed the incorrect plumbing, our water is crystal clear! I decided to give Top Notch a try and had an appointment scheduled on a Thursday for some equipment troubleshooting. They would not give me a window and simply said someone would be out that day. As 4:30 approached, I called their office and spoke to a lady who said she would text Vanessa and I would receive a call to find out why Ricky never showed up. It's now Friday at noon and no contact from Vanessa or Ricky. If the front end customer service is this bad, I am not willing to see the results of the back end. read more

I'm happy to add another five-star rating to the reviews. First, these guys really know pools. My 11 year old pool had multiple problems. They diagnosed and fixed each one -- from a failing pump to hidden leaks in the system to a pool light that was taking on water. Their communications process is outstanding. They tell you exactly when they'll be there, show up on time, and then e-mail you same day a review of what they found/did on each visit. They provide a detailed break down of anticipated costs, and update any changes. The invoice payment process is by bank transfer or card -- although there is an additional charge for cards. All very professional. They are also very nice guys -- friendly and happy to answer all your questions -- even the dumb ones. Felt very quickly that these are guys you can trust. read more

Top-Notch is just that Top-Notch. They are amazing. I never have to think about pool maintenance. They take care of it all. My pool is always ready to enjoy. They send me a report each week as to what they did and when the pool is safe to use again after maintenance. Ronny stopped by and completed the first cleaning job on time at fair price, so we decided to use him for our every week service. They blow the deck, clean the pool, add chemicals, check leaking . They alway leave a service notice in my mail box, which is really sweet. So I will know what time they came and what kind chemicals they added to my and they also tell me if there are any leaks. My pool looks so nice and clean. We can jump in the pool and enjoy it. Then we decided to change a new mother board for our system and fix the water leaks,Ron and his team came by installed new motherboard and repaired the leaking at a good price. Our pool pump broke, so I called the usual "big corporate outfit" I usually use. They said they could come in a week. One week of no water moving in 90* weather = yuck! So I checked around and came upon Top Notch. He called a few hours after I filled out their online service request, asked what the issue was, and then told me they were in the area and would be right over. 2 super nice guys in a truck with the company name on it (that helps a lot!) showed up, looked over the problem, and not only told me what was wrong but how to possibly prevent it from happening in the future. We needed a new pump motor. I figured "great! It's Friday at 4pm, next week is when it will get done". Nope! He made a phone call, located the part, and was back in about an hour. Now we have a pool pump that works, and I know a lot more about how my equipment works. I will definitely be calling Top Notch again for my future pool needs! read more

We had another pool company for 4 years, but after a decline in service, I decided to try Top Notch. I sent an email and received a response within minutes. He came and cleaned the pool when we asked and we then set up bi-weekly service. His prices are great, and there aren't any hidden fees. I've got an above-ground pool that I really let go for the winter. Not only had the color turned, but it had become - quite literally - a swamp. You couldn't see further than 2-inches into the water. When the sun would go down at night, it sounded like a symphony of frogs.
